Book of Dead - 5000x - 100k€ Win

I can see what you are saying. But sorry these days everywhere in life a lot of people take offense to just about everything.

I find it hard to believe with everything you hear and see everywhere in life that someone reads a word in a post and is so offended it affects them that bad.

I do not use any words that are offensive but if i read one i might think that's out of line but that's it. I hardly get that deeply traumatised i need to make such a big deal about it.
i dont recall anyone saying they were traumatized
the post was reported
the user was banned
so im gathering it broke the ToS

The Postman was reported ?!? Why did you get the wrong mails ?`?
lol, often
I've a name wherein my first and last name are common first names; I'm forever getting mail for other neighbours who've one or the other :p

Lol, I’m happy that this thread is bringing change to the world :p.

I have contacted a lawyer, however their terms are very fishy.
I will post them here once I get home.

LoL i found a family photo from years ago

I think you're just putting on a brave face here. It's clear those Rhino videos have damaged your psyche so you'll be pleased to know there's a CM counsellor on call if you PM me. Initially it's phone consultation, but if they are concerned enough they will forward their findings to your local GP who will then contact your for a more in depth face-to-face meeting with your local NHS psychiatric clinic.

I miss your Rhino videos.

If you was to call me, tell my cat to piss off and break wind down the phone, I'm sure it would help.:p

Never said it did. I was referring to the fact that the song cannot be played to ALL groups as it was and is edited for certain markets. What I'm saying is, is that you fall on very dodgy ground when trying to tell everyone and their dog that they should all uniformly have the same opinion about sayings and words as each other. Check out US Constitution Amendment 1.

You have to allow for differences, both in view or opinion.

This is why I used the word 'may'. It would be arrogant of me to presume that everybody everywhere would see the post in the same way, although I agree most would including myself, hence the words of advice before he was suspended.

Well this forum like most of the world is one giant hypocrite, so we might as well all just keep our mouths shut cause something will offend anyone nowadays.

Take for my example my 30 day ban for saying Betfred is a **** and a cancer to gambling, I have seen yourself numerous times use many foul language swear words when describing casinos(mostly rogue ones). Yet I got a ban?

Now that is not your fault, but my point is the rules are not dished out fair and square. Either allow no foul language or allow it, don't pick it and choose it based on whether you like a poster or not. I could pull up 10+ posts that are abusive in it's nature, yet not one has ever bothered me, yet somehow my post was deserving of a ban. I would make more of a issue of it but no point and this after all is just a forum but jesus it's one that isn't consistent.

For fans of the inbetweeners how does ‘Bumder’ sit in the rules? :)

Obviously offensive for those who know what it means, but innocent to those who don’t. Must be a tough job to moderate all of the different phrases across the globe on an international forum.

I basically see the forum as being inclusive, and as such, wouldn't use words that are generally deemed hateful, or directed toward other members (for example, I'd have no problem saying I think Trump is a douche since hes hardly going to be in here posting, but I wouldnt to a member or rep) and will use adult language in a general context providing it's what most wouldnt see as 'hardcore'

Aha. This is what’s known as a DJ name. You can host a breakfast show.

I imagine so. But I guess that's where admonishments come into play, and as we've come across, a polite word aside or nod about certain words. Then, there's those words which, simply, if you recognize youd probably look over your shoulder before saying it, then you shouldnt probably say it in a forum where there is ALWAYS someone figuratively speaking, looking over your shoulder.

It wasnt even a week ago that someone asked, oh, are you that local radio host (same name)? As an aside, when I DJed for a radio station, I used DJ Dionysus :p

Look, context is the key as always. Let's put your post here into context too, as you haven't.

1. You referred to a person in a picture when you got a 30-day ban. Not the entity Betfred, but a real person in that image/article.
2. You have a track record of being suspended so it's not like you're still on the 'mild admonishment ' stage!
3. It was a doubly unpleasant post for both words and typed with not a shred of humour, but almost aggressively.
4. People reported that post, therefore it must have overstepped the mark - bad words used in the right context have always appeared here, it's an adult forum but are left untouched because they are presented in a way that doesn't get them reported to admin.

And that is the key - knowing how near the line you can tread before getting your posts to the stage they offend enough to be reported. In all fairness, in the past you know yourself you have overstepped the mark.

Bad language is not accepted based on whether the poster is 'liked' at all. It's how it's used, directed and again the magic word 'context'. I hate seeing people banned and have never done it (aside from obvious spammers after their links have been appropriately changed :D ) and if I believe something needs that action I ask Bryan or Max for a second opinion or refer it to them. They are the best people to deal with it - Bryan 'cos it's his house, and Max as he's head housekeeper.

A US Supreme Court judge once said "I cannot define obscenity, but I know it when I see it."

A good example, could be, I could call a fellow member a right bastard, for say, getting a song stuck in my head. No problem.
Calling another, simply a moron, as you say, without a trace of humour, while on the surface, is less offsensive, is in fact is, well because...context

1) The real person is the owner of the company, sorry can we only say the company is scum not the actual owner?
2) Track record you mean once before, for pulling Trancemonkey up and that ban was ridiculous more than this one
3) It was fully aggressive why should i post humour on a thread about a casino ripping players off and if you google he has LOTS of previous history of short changing players
4) THIS point is where real issue is, snivelling people with agendas reporting posts and people running it acting upon it.

You don't know where the line is as much as me, the videos you have posted and posts in the past have been equally aggressive and way more abusive that anything I've posted. People have no issues with rules as long as they are consistent, that is not the case.

Like I say no issue with you, but you're a good example to use on how posters are treated differently. But again that is not your fault either!
