Hey all

Am a newbie as you can see. But have not joined up to have a whinge... but maybe to spread some wisdom? All you experts please feel free to correct me at any time if I am wrong.

I signed up to X MC casino and deposited 200 credits. I declined the welcome bonus.

Next I put in 150 credits and this time accepted the 50% bonus of 75 credits. I played it down to almost nothing... left it 0.39 credits in bonus.

I received another 40 credit bonus without a cash deposit. I was thinking that all I would have to do is play 40 x 30 = 1200 wagering requirement.

Not so!!! The 0.39 credits that I didn't play added to the overall wagering requirement ie

75 + 40 = 115
115 x 30 = 3450

So the 1200 wagering requirement I was thinking I had achieved wasn't so at all!

My advice? Play down any bonus to zero!

I could be wrong with my sums... so please anyone tell me so.

Cheers

You should always play bonus balances down to zero before making a new deposit. In some casinos going below 1 €/$ waives you of any remaining wagering requirements but that's definitely not the case everywhere.

Thanks for your reply... definitely not the case with this MG casino!

Contact the casino and ask them to remove the bonus on the 0.39.
If they are reasonable people they will do it.
That's if you haven't lost it all already.

The one thing I am always sure to do whether making another deposit or not is, even if I have 1 pence left, jumping on Riviera Riches and getting rid of it so there's no WR left.

as mentioned already, play down every last cent of an active bonus before depositing again!!

In case of any doubt always confirm with CS.....in fact just avoid bonuses that don't wipe out the WR when the balance becomes 0!!!

OMG - really? :what:

I would NEVER do that - I always use a low-variance game.
How would you feel if you triggered the free-spins on DoA and got a full line of wilds while betting 1c on 1 line only?
Or get 5 Sapphires on BDBA on a line you WEREN'T betting on? :eek2:

That's an absolutely horrible thought :(
I once played my last 40p on BdBA, playing 4 lines at 10p each and triggered free spins. Nearly threw up :puke:
Thankfully nothing came in but it was nerve-wracking.

Oh yeah that's already happened to me before .....made a thread out of it too....anything under 9c tho....

I once lost a $4000.00 Royal Flush at a Rival casino, because I left 1 cent in my credit box from a bonus play----one penny! They didn't like it when I thought that I had cleared my wager requirement and then had deposited again and played video poker(forbidden under bonus rules)---but I had been under the impression that anything under 1 dollar cleared the WR----If it had---they had changed their rules.

Actually at that time it was hard to find a game that would take less than full lines---but
times changed and I lost my Royal Flush because of a one penny mistake.

They even banned me from other Rival casinos.

So---yes---read the rules(they change from one minute to the next sometimes) and if
you make a mistake you won't have a leg to stand on.

They are "init to winit".

What is these games you speak of??
DoA = Dead Or Alive - a Net Entertainment slot.
BDBA = Break Da Bank Again - A Microgaming slot.

Both are VERY high variance games where you can win several 1000 x your bet in the free-spins.

eeekkk!!!! That's a horrible thing to happen MaryJean!!

This is why I started this topic... always play down a bonus to zero as others here have said... and read the t&c's.

Hopefully we have learned our lessons and can pass this on to others.

I actually sort of did this a few weeks ago, was betting £3.60 on DoA but the game crashed and I must have just restarted without changing my bet size and put it on autoplay. Came back to find the 5 wilds extra (luckily/unluckily enough didn't get the full 5 in a line) at 0.90p instead! Lost out on 4k if that had happened at my normal stakes!

Talking about getting rid of the odd few pence, Well went on a casino a few weeks back as free spins threw email, Once logged on I could not get into games due to no funds lol, As you have to have some sort of funds in there to get into game,
Also I had free spins of another casino and I said I canot get into games so the cs kindly put 1p into account, Funny thing is I do not think the spins came with wager BUT the 1p did,

Just my 1 cent's worth.

Just by instinct, I have always bet the bonus (In my case, cash-back bonus - I don't use any other bonuses)
down to to zero, go out of the casino and let it register.

Just so there is NO DOUBT the bonus is g-o-n-e.

Good Luck everyone!

....left it 0.39 credits in bonus.

Always get your balance to 0.00.

Only a new deposit (without bonus) will clear you from wagering requirement. Sometimes even that is not enough (read T&C).
MG will maybe make it so a cash prize from a tournament win will also clear any wagering requirement. At the moment that is not the case. Any cash from tournament will transform into bonus money.

For example:
You deposit 100, lose all (but not before you get a good place at a tournament), get 50 nd bonus, lose all in a few spins. Balance 0.00. Win 75 cash from tournament. Your balance now will be 50 bonus + 25 cash.
