New Slot Announcement Bonanza by Big Time Gaming

It's a decent base RTP - 84 and a bit percent but no GOLDs for nearly 2,000 spins now.

At the weekend they were coming in every 300 spins.

Yes, it averages out (year to date I'm on 99.44%) but it's the hot and cold phases.

Never mind. We'll keep plugging away.

But that's literally the only reason to play a random game, the 'hot and cold' phases, if every single spin just returned 96% of your stake then there wouldn't be much motivation to play, would there?

Bonanza is well known to do 2000-2500+ spins without a bonus when you catch it wrong, anyone who's played the game for any length of time will have experienced it, myself included. When it's got a 1/460 feature frequency, that's going to happen based purely on random chance.

What he’s saying is the hot and cold spells are so easily noticeable. Your deposit is either wiped out in record time or you get a steady base with a few GOLDS.

A random game would give more of a balance. For example, you could be two or three deposits down but the fourth might get you back, plus some. That occurrence is extremely rare I assure you from experience.

I’ve said it from the start and I’ll say it again. These games are super-compensated. By that, I mean, they can take 5k, then pay out 3k. Take 2k then pay out 3k and so on.

THERE ARE DAYS WHEN YOU COULD THROW YOUR LIFE SAVINGS AT A SLOT AND YOU WILL NOT HIT A BONUS. THAT IS BECAUSE THE GAME ISN’T READY TO PAY.

THERE IS NOTHING RANDOM ABOUT IT. IT’S PROGRAMMED FOR GOD’S SAKE.

I'm well aware of what Bonanza can do, my record is 3338 spins between features. My post last night was more to do with the fact that three different sites gave me an almost identical RTP. Only 500 odd spins each but it's nearly 10% above what the base game is supposed to be. Is that random or was it on an 84% setting?
As I said, at the turn of the month I was getting over 100% for three days solid. I got a +5 feature five times out of seven at one point. It was clearly on a higher setting for those days. I've been saying for 18 months since I've been recording my spins - it's not random. It has three or four settings. It's the 56% setting that's the killer but I've learnt to stop playing it when it's on that. Since the update in July I've been on a solid 90% on the NextGen version. I was on 90% after 20,000 spins, I was on 90% after 50,000, I was on 90% after 100,000. Didn't someone say the German Bonanza is at 90% or am I mistaken? Just wondering...
This year NextGen is averaging one feature every 607 spins for me, MGS is one every 397 spins. Guess where I'm going more often.

Anyway just got my weekly bonus from Duelz. £23 so played at 20p spins. Another 663 spins with no GOLD so I'm currently on 2406 since my last one. Again, a base RTP that's a good amount higher than the average (82.59%) so a decent session but not many 'L's let alone 'D's.

Speaking of which, can someone who thinks this game is reel based explain how the letters always fall in order? Why can't I get a D dropping in until the other letters have? Why can't a +5 drop in on it's own without any other letters?
I did a count the other week of near misses. In 400 spins 395 of them were one symbol away from a win (counted after cascades had finished on the winning spins). That's some going for a 'random' game that has ten characters and as few as 6 places for them in the first three columns, or 11 characters and 8 places with the top row. I haven't done the maths but I can say for certain the probability of it happening by chance isn't the 98.75% that I've counted.

Do you have any idea how difficult it would be to compensate Bonanza in anything like the way being suggested here, especially having multiple settings for it to run at?

The game already takes, on average, 4% of your stake off you every single time you press the SPIN button, and it does that as an absolute mathematical certainty with no skulduggery required on BTG's part.

Introducing compensation into the equation immediately makes the game a far more complicated, and risky proposition, for absolutely no benefit to either BTG or the casinos running it.

Compensated games can be beaten in a way that random games cannot, Schind claims above he can identify when the slot is running at its 56% setting and avoids it at those times, in which case he's already reduced the overall average house edge and given himself a more favourable RTP, something that would be impossible with a random game.

Congratulations Schind, you've just created your very own 97% RTP version of Bonanza!

I'm on 99.32% this year and I've not had any really big wins. Biggest feature is 361x, biggest base I think is 200x (a few times). I was on virtually 100% before yesterday.

Over 350,000 spins in 15 months I'm on 96.64%.
Until July last year I was running at 98.5% then I got the 90% thing for months until this year when I've changed what I record and how I record it and thus how I play the game.
If you can't tell after 100 spins that a slot is paying out at 56% vs one that's at 84% or 110% then I don't know what to say.

So if you can spot the 110% version after 100 spins then I assume you're posting these messages from your luxury villa in The Seychelles?

No, my luxury house in Surrey!

The Seychelles is too hot for me.

You're clearly creating a strawman argument as you know it's not gonna be on 110% for ever but hey ho, I guess the technical questions I asked are above your grade.

One of the most popular threads here on Casinomeister, which was started back in 2016, before I signed up with GamStop. Just one observation to make.

Am I the only member of the Casinomeister Forum that has never ever played Bonanza? LOL

I dumped about £3 in it around 2019 ish. Wasn't thinking properly around that time, had alot going on.

I hit 7500X a few months back. In this thread somewhere. But I've given up on slots for 6 months now. Loss after loss on everything was doing my head in. The last ten bonanza bonuses I had were absolutley disgusting. I think 5 of them were sub 10x.

You need to wager back that 7500X.
