Getting several mails from Gala Partners, Corals etc stating the following:

Dear Partner,

*** Please do not reply to this email! ***

Your account has not registered a depositing player in the past 12 months and has therefore been classified as inactive. The account will be closed permanently within 72 hours.

Once the account is closed, no further payment will be made and you will be unable to access the account.

Your July commissions will be paid in full. Please note that as of August 2017, commissions will no longer be paid.

Should you wish to continue with us, please contact your account manager within 72 hours.

Thank you,
Gala Partners

Hmm, that might be because I do not promote your casinos. Well, this mail has ensured I never will. Looks like the FU T & C's are being invoked by Ladbrokes / Corals in their Affiliate HQ in Tel Aviv.

This is such BS, and I am at the point that I'm considering banning all IPs from Israel since that most everything that comes out of there is garbage.

I removed Gala for being inactive and not resolving problems that should have been dealt with professionally. Their review is here: Gala Casino Review. I guess it's a consideration for roguedom

Also one from Ladbrokes just in. Moving your affiliate dept to Tel Aviv was one of the most stupid decisions my former employer made. No wonder Richard Glynn got the push.

Gala, Coral and Ladbrokes are still doing this, and setting commissions to 0% on accounts, then either not replying to affiliate emails, or telling them to open a new account if they want to continue promoting them, but losing all previous customers.

Considering Sky are rouged for implementing a 6 customer min per month & dropping commission to 5% if you don't meet that target, surely this bunch should be rouged for just closing accounts and setting rates to 0%?

It's predatory - it's rogue - it's coercive - and it's probably illegal, but they are in Israel and can do pretty much whatever they want. So what the hell? Israel is really the new clip-shot-joint-mecca that Costa Rica used to proudly claim. Hell, Costa Rican based casinos are gems compared to these Israeli based affiliate management companies.

There is no reason whatsoever to change the % of any rev share. What it is is that they want traffic, and they figure that if they can threaten you with closing your account or reverting your rev share to 5% or ), that you will send more traffic. It's bullshit and unethical.

This thread reminded me I was contacted last week by the umpteenth new AM at Ladbrokes (they usually change every 6 months or less).
The gist of the conversation:

HIM:
Hi Mark,
How are you?
I wanted to know if there was anything else we could do together in order to increase the traffic you send to Ladbrokes?
We have not seen much traffic from you in a while and I am keen to see if there is anything I can do that will help drive more traffic to the Ladbrokes Coral group.
Please note I am referring to your account under the username: Xxxxxxxx
I am open to ideas, so please let me know.
Thanks

ME:
Yes, treat affiliates like PARTNERS instead of just a means to grab more players while ripping the affs off…

HIM:
Mark I cannot comment on things that have happened in the past, I’m here to offer you a deal if this is something you’re open to I’ll be happy to have a fresh start with you,
Like I said, we haven’t worked together and we don’t know each other.
I’m not a salesman and I don’t believe in the pushy approach with affiliates.
If you respect me and provide good traffic, you will be treated in kind and I’ll go above and beyond to get you whatever you need in order to make this work.
Let’s give it a try.

ME:
Yes, that’s exactly what the 10+ other new AM’s before you said.
OK, so you’re new and you may not know Ladbrokes long history of screwing their affiliates over – I’ll grant you that.
Maybe you should do some research on the subject?
Then you might understand why so many are anti-Ladbrokes.

I can’t send you “good traffic” – you are a huge high-street brand and I am a very small-time affiliate. If I could send 10 NDP’s in a YEAR I would be doing well.
I did generate some decent action 2013 & 2014 – but then Ladbrokes made the crazy decision to dump Microgaming, adopt Playtech, move the aff program to Israel and screw their small affiliates by changing their deals without discussion.

The only way this could ever work moving forward is if you gave me a deal similar to the other better casinos I promote:
A decent RS% with no minimum activity conditions.
No Negative Carry-Over… EVER.
No minimum quotas of any kind… EVER.
A really DECENT Welcome Bonus to tempt new players to sign-up.

I won’t be holding my breath…

HIM:
<Silence>

PS: I dumped them in 2015 anyway!

I agree but they aren't threatening, what they are doing is worse, they are just closing accounts without giving people a chance to comply. If you haven't sent a new customer for 12 months, your accounts closed. Full stop, no negotiation or anything, just closed. I only found out my rate was 0% when I realised my account was showing £0 for this month, not that I every really make more than £100-200 a month (on a good month) but have emailed 5 affiliate managers now over the past 3 weeks and not had a single reply. My last NDP was only 3 months ago so I have no clue why this has been done.
