BoDog Games Seem So Tight

Crooked Gameplay at Bodog - Blackjack

I'm furious at Bodog and will no longer play there.

Beginning last Wednesday afternoon, their Blackjack game was clearly switched over somewhere in the RTG software. I posted 5 out of my last 6 sessions (40-100 hands each) at 30-32% player wins. That's an unbelievable 70% of winning hands going to the dealer -- more than 2 to 1. This went on from late Wednesday until Saturday afternoon when I finally had enough.

During all of last week, I also counted the total of all blackjacks during the week at Bodog and noted a Dealer-to-Player blackjack ratio of 5-2!

No one can win with that kind of rigged game. I don't know if it's all RTGs or just Bodog, but the gameplay was patently rigged to harvest player funds. My only guess is that they may have been hosed in the sportsbook and decided to make it back in the casino.

I withdrew all my funds yesterday and will not be returning - ever.

Definitely sounds like the run I've been having there. I'm almost curious as to whether or not it's a glitch in their software.

I'd be suspicious that it's a glitch, really. I've been playing there for weeks, recording over a 1000 hands of blackjack, right down to each individual card in every single hand. Just last week I wagered over $30,000 collectively on my sessions.

This recent gameplay is wholly unprecedented, I've never seen anything like it before. The only other casino that came this close to this many dealer wins on consecutive sessions was World Sports Exchange, another sportsbook (WSEX ran proprietary software).

I love the sportsbook casinos, they pay out fast. But something shady is definitely going on, I think, if their sports side gets creamed during the football season.

You can also note that on days when the unskilled 'punters' are on for sports-betting - Saturdays and Sundays - that the RNGs are clearly getting skewed. It's usually easier to win on these days and player win percentages are often 41-45% and up, following basic strategy.

I'm not positive, but I've heard tell that you're supposed to lose when you wager on negative expecatation games.

So if you're losing money, then everything is working out like it's supposed to.

Enjoy!

Well, I'm sure your employers appreciate the hard work you continue to do in these forums, explaining to us all how 70% dealer wins over 600 consecutive hands of blackjack is a fair representation of the game.

Good job, champ!

I sent them an e-mail and they're assuring me that things are on the level, but still can't find anyone who's won anything lately.

I've gotten $50 up to $500 a few times in the last couple weeks, but only after losing 4 or 5 $50 deposits first. Yesterday I lost $100 on 0.40 bets wayyy to fast. Also while I was playing yesterday, I saw two random jackpots get hit. This got me thinking that maybe the random jackpots are such a large % of the EV of RTG slots that unless you hit one the wins are pretty bad most of the time. As seen in the winner screenshots thread a couple days ago, I've been hitting tons of line wins, but no bonuses or free spins.

Also, playing tens of thousands of spins on many different RTG casinos I have noticed differences in some of the games. Maybe I'm just crazy, but I think that if they do change the payout percentages of the slots they do it by adding or removing scatter symbols from the reels. I swear I remember playing at a casino with only one scatter symbol on the first reel of derby dollars and I lost very fast. On the other hand, when I hit five scatters on derby dollars three times in a row, I think it had three scatter symbols on the first reel, because it was hitting on the first reel every two out of three spins or so before that I got the huge win ($732 on $1).
