RESPONSE

Thanks for contacting Bovada Customer Service.

We appreciate you taking the time to contact us regarding your payout request. We can definitely assist you with this and we apologize for any inconvenience you are experiencing at this time.

We understand you are concern regarding your Payout Reference Number %$%@%@ dated April 27, 2012 for the amount of $700 via Check by Courier. We are aware that you have been waiting for an extended time and it can be very frustrating.

Please be advised that, we are currently experiencing a slight delay. We must rely on third parties in order for us to pay our customers and this at times will cause back logs and delays because of the high volume of payouts being processed.

However, we are currently working with our provider to have the funds delivered as soon as possible; this is why we kindly ask for your continued patience while we have this matter sorted out.

well this is not good its my first payout ever with you guys and if it is going to be like this i need to look elsewhere -
as big of a company you guys are, there should never be any delays as it is imperative in this bussiness weather its from 3rd party you guys have the wrong 3rd party.
please let me know if this package has not been sent by the 25th (20 business days) you guys have not honored your end of the deal as stated in the terms and conditions "can take up to 20 business days" really doesnt matter. i play a lot of online gambling poker and casino if the terms are not meet on my end you can forfeit or make any excuse of why i should not be paid but if the tables are turned and you guys have not meet the terms than all i get is sorry for delay, please be patient. not acceptable

LASTLY THEY RESPONDED THIS

Thanks for contacting Bovada Customer Service.

We understand that you would like to have your payout sent to you within the timeframe; however, kindly note that this time was only estimated. We are currently experiencing a delay due to an extremely high payout volume. We tried our best to keep our payouts within our specified timeframe, but in this industry, we rely heavily on third parties in order for us to pay our customers and this at times will cause back logs and delays.

It is not our intention to keep you waiting this long for your payout and it is a very unfortunate event since your payouts were processed. Our Payouts Team is currently investigating the reason why you have not received your payments in addition to working profusely to ensure this situation does not occur in the future. Rest assured you will be receiving your funds.

Additionally, once the tracking information becomes available, it will be posted to your Bovada account messages. We are constantly working on providing quicker and more efficient payout options to our customers.

We would like to take this opportunity to assure you that we will continue to provide you with an excellent gaming experience along with the superb customer service that you have come accustomed to. Thank you for your ongoing patience and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused.

Thank you for your email. Should you have any questions, or require any further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Click on the I-Gaming Reps tab then look for Bovada. Send the rep a PM.

Wow. They used to be so fast with payments. I don't play there anymore but is 20 days the typical timeframe now? I still miss them and their poker room. :(

It's important to note that payout timeframes are NOT part of the terms and conditions of any casino.

Drawing a connection between players breaching specific rules and delayed payments is ridiculous IMO.

US players know that these kinds of things can and will happen, so you need to accept that fact. If it is the processor that is delaying your payout, then there's no point giving the casino a hard time as you won't get it any quicker.

but you cant take away that if their processors cant handle the load they need to move over and let some other processors handle it -when i cash out it actually said 15 days then they changed it a week later.
IMO this all is unacceptable

Hi, I guess this is something that they deal with too many players. But it wont be a reason to delay or even to make a time frame for the payment, they should hire more people to handle that so that players get paid in time.

What i do like about Bovada/Bodog, is whatever time frame they give you, they meet. Looking at the calendar, the 20th business day is tomorrow, hopefully you will receive by then,

Too Long!!

20 business days to have a courier chk processed and delivered....
and if your like me.....another 15 days to clear the bank hold for
out of state checks......2 months to see the cash...OUCHIE!!!!!!

Hi, I m also currently waiting for my check. My payout was processed on 4-16-2012 and I still haven't received my tracking info yet. I m over this site. I will be playing somewhere else after I get my check.

well i have an update!!!

i was contacted by a personal rep from bovada on my cell phone telling me that he is sorry to hear that im having issues with the company and that he will be my personal and also te let me nkow there are still problems and actaually could take up to 25 days now , he kept apologizing .

1. still no excuse for a company that has so many players hire the right 3rd party to make sure payments are quick.
2. i am impressed however how they actually contact me and also the rep pm'd me here.
so they are on top of it i give them that .

again im not worried about not getting paid (i know they good for it) but i feel for such a low number of places to play for USA knowing that people who play poker from united stated really need to address the issue of time frame on withdrawals if other casinos can do it so can the rest they should look into what they are doing wrong and fix their issue , i think its that simple,
example: if DELL COMPUTER COMPANY notices that GATEWAY is giving a 30 day guarantee that their computer will have no issues dont you think that DELL will offer same thing? or better- as a company in general do better than other companies.
(sorry for the computer analogy, im a computer geek lol)

I've been waiting since April for a check myself and it's beginning to get absurd. Originally I was quoted 15 business days for my check. Then I found out when I called on my 15th business day to check on things that they were up to 20 business days. Then on the 20th day (yesterday) I check my bovada messages and see on the payout section of their site they are now up to 25 days. I honestly expect next week to see wait time increased to 30 business days as they keep moving the goal posts further and further back.

I'm honestly wondering if they are actually paying people at this point at all. I'm wondering if it's not a funding issue rather than a payout volume issue. Either way there is simply no excuse for this kind of poor behavior.

The two things that really bug me though are the fact that they made zero effort to alert me to these delays. I had to find out about both on my own. No email, no message on my bovada account, nothing at all. Also, when I did get to speak to a "player advocate" she just kept parroting the same two things over and over like a god damned doll with a pull string. I felt like she couldn't have given less of a shit about my issues while speaking to her.

I don't make them wait a month and a half when I pay them that's for damn sure. Again, there is simply no excuse for this. If they are so backed up that they are unable to meet their debts in a timely fashion then maybe they need to stop taking bets at all or hire on new people until they can get their house in order because it's nowhere near in order currently.

I'd go as far as to say that should these delays go much longer or continue for an extended period of time Bovada's accredited status on this site should be brought into serious question. Most other reputable casinos pay people in far shorter periods of time and if they can do it Bovada can do it as well. They are choosing, whether directly or indirectly, to have these long wait times. If they wanted to pay people faster they could.

wow so thanks for that - i thought i was the only one with issues - looks like a epidemic situation for bovada- i think we better keep a close eye on these guys- i will play there again but only if they solve this issue at first - and yes i seen the same thing went from 15 days to 20 and now 25 days within weeks on their website .
they need to get their act together and fast

Dell and Gateway weren't processing illegal payments. Stupid analogy.

Do they no longer do withdrawals via WU?

Sure they do. . . .just as long as you buy in via WU or Moneygram. When I did my initial cash out I specifically tried to get a WU cash out and was told they wouldn't do that for me because I bought in with my debit card. So yeah, they could do it but they simply choose not to for no reason at all that I can see. However, I'm not sure it would matter now as I'm really questioning whether they are paying anyone at all currently.

Playing at Bovada anymore is just an exercise in picking how you'd like to be inconvenienced. Do you want your money in a timely manner? Well that means leaving your home and driving to the nearest store that sends out WU or Moneygram and eating their fee on top it. Do you want to have the convenience of buying in with your credit or debit card? Well then you better not want your winnings anytime soon because Bovada takes their sweet time about paying people anymore assuming they are still paying people.

Oh Boy, An Update!

So I got to speak to another "player advocate" tonight and much like the last one I spoke to this one was just a steady stream of excuses. Although I did get a few disturbing nuggets of truth when she wasn't busy passing the buck onto their payment processor and trying to avoid accountability for this mess. Let's review shall we?

First I learned that they are backlogged as far back as early April as I was told they were just getting tracking numbers for payouts made around the 8th of April today. So that means that even the 25 business day estimate is pretty much a farce as the people from April 8th are waiting over 35 business days. In light of this I was told that I wouldn't likely get my payout next week either. Gee, ya think?

Secondly I learned that they have about as much of a clue as we do to what's going on. Either that or it's far worse than they are letting on and they don't want to say. The rep wouldn't even promise me my payout would be here by the end of June for Christ sake. I was told in so many words to bugger off and they will pay me when they are good and damn ready and not a second before until then I can sit and spin waiting for their call. Seriously, there is nothing like having someone owe you money and have them turn around and treat you like they are doing you some huge favor by paying you at all.

So, yeah, this is what we are dealing with folks. If Bovada owes you money you might want to get comfortable because it's not showing up anytime soon, if at all. At the very least I think they need to be put on probation until this mess is well sorted out and they can start delivering payouts in reasonable time frame because if this is what constitutes an accredited casino I think the review process needs a serious overhaul.

update i got a private message from rep i responded but i havent heard back from him yet - and again all i get is run around of excuses of why i have not received my money its now going on 30 days and im more concerned with my second withdrawal of 1700 .
be carefull i wont deposit until i get my money

The more I think about it and the more I hear from other Bovada players the more I'm at a loss over this whole situation. I'm very seriously questioning anymore if we are going to be paid at all. Shortly before the shit hit the fan at Full Tilt I was waiting for a cash out from them that never came and it was an almost identical situation. They just kept on being totally noncommittal about a time frame while assuring me I was going to get paid right up to the point it was brought to light they were more or less broke and the government shut them down. Maybe I'm wrong and they will pay their debts. However, to say I'm less than optimistic would be a massive understatement at this point.

I posted this in the other thread in the complaints section but I wanted to put this here as well. Kahnawake Gaming Commission is the organization that regulates Bovada. A poster in the other thread said they take player issues very seriously. Obviously Bovada isn't taking them the least bit seriously so I say it's time to go to their regulator about their refusal to pay out what they owe. The address to send your issues to is complaints@gamingcommission.ca I urge you all to submit an email to these people and seeing as the players are unable to put a fire under their asses maybe Kahnawake will if enough people write to let them know about what's going on.

Bovada versus Bodog

I'm not suggesting a change to the thread title at all. It was Bodog's decision to move US players to Bovada, and Bovada seems to be failing US players.

Non-US players searching for info should be aware of how this parent company is treating this issue.

Well i guess for everyones info as an update, I did receive my tracking number and they come from singapore. So i guess thats good news for 1 of the payouts. Maybe so everyone has an idea on the time frame to expect i took that draw on April, 9th and by tracking info i would say it will be to place on tuesday. So what ever that is in a time frame?
