BoDog - Turning for the BETTER?

As some of you know - I had some serious issues with BoDog for awhile.

BoDog, in my humble opinion was TOP OF THE LINE - and should have remained there in my book.

But I had some falling out with them over stupid things.

Now - I'm not one to go spreading RUMORS or even talking badly about a casino. I just don't think it is productive, unless they are stealing money - there really is no reason to out them.

So I really didn't mention them in a manner that would make the casino look bad.

However - ON THE UPSIDE - recently BoDog has tried to make amends with some of the things that have happened regarding me.

And I would like to congratulate them - ON TAKING THE FIRST STEPS towards mending - well..... Mending my hurt feelings.

This is a tenuous step for me - because once I'm burned or my feelings are hurt - I'm not usually one to bother with it again.

I like to be treated like royalty - I like bonuses - and I like to be "LISTENED" to... But most of all - like to be treated FAIRLY - and rewarded for being a decent customer and for being a decent human being.

So- we shall see how this works out.

I'd like to thank BECKY - the gaming forum rep for BoDog - for initiating the instance.

I'd like to think that this WILL turn into something positive that will change my mind about a GROUP - that I once held in the HIGHEST Regard.

YEAH,

I feel the same about Bodog!

They are indeed getting better from day to day!
And finally they are listening to their customers :)

The only thing is, still NO free chips at all, not even if you are the loyalest customer there :) But well probably they will get there too, sometimes :)

AS I SAID BEFORE:

THUMBS UP!!

Aww, I'm SO happy that things are moving in the right direction in your opinion. :) More than happy to help, it is my pleasure!

I don't know what the issue in question was, but I have always found Bodog to be the best poker room and casino, period. Fast payouts, fun casino, soft poker games. What's not to like?

Bodog is on my shortlist of casinos and poker sites, others being Full Tilt, Sloto, Inet and Pokerstars (though Tilt and Stars are strictly skills-based games, no casino games whatsoever, of course).

Personally I've always liked Bodog a lot. Fast payouts (about 5 minutes last night) and the CS has always been fast and to the point.

Would be be nice if they had the newer version of the casino though.

Also noticed last night that the reels kept spinning and spinning, it took about 15 seconds per round. Not that pleasant playing experience.

Any plans to upgrade to new version of RTG software BodogBecky?

Oh, I forgot to mention, every Monday morning you get cash back on losses, with (as far as I know) no WR at all.

Would be be nice if they had the newer version of the casino though.

I sent them several emails about this, they simply stated they would let me know if they did this, but they never did. Then just a couple weeks back, I believe Becky stated here in another thread that they had actually purchased the source code for the casino, rather than rent it from RTG, as most RTG casinos do. So if they wanted to upgrade, they would probably need to shell out a bunch more cash for the new games. Alternatively, it seems like they can make their own games with the existing software, as they have Dirty Martini and some other special games.

I noticed this, too. Don't know what that's about - seems to happen every couple weeks.

They have even the old max win rule with 40,000x bet per line, instead of the current 50,000x bet win per line!

btw. i can't play there, since they've changed my account from $ to and i've sent them also several emails and got often enough only empty promises, that they will look for it and tell me, when it will be fixed, but i got then always never any response and this now since a half year and this is really the badest support i've ever had on any RTG casino!

To clarify the relationship between RTG and bodog casino software, here is the quote I posted in another thread from the Casino product manager of BodogBrand.com:

"The casino software licensed to Bodog brand licensees is no longer accurately described as the RTG Casino product. BodogBrand acquired the rights to the RTG Casino source code in early 2007 and, since then, the product has been significantly enhanced and has undergone continuous development. Today, the casino platform licensed to the Bodog brand licensees is effectively a wholly proprietary product. Moreover, the divergence between the game portfolio and look and feel of standard RTG licensees and the brand licensees proprietary product will be increasingly apparent as new bespoke games are under active development and significant upgrades to the instant play lobby and downloadable client are imminent. The proprietary products Casino RNG was certified by Gaming Associates as recently as April of 2008".

Also, there are certainly some upgrades coming up:

-Scheduled for release in March, Bodog Casino be adding a whole set of 40 new games. This set will include great table games, exciting video pokers, fast and furious slots, and a lot of fun specialty games.

-In April/May, Bodog Casino will release the first of a series of very cool new games that will be EXCLUSIVE to the Bodog Casino and available only to "Bodog" players. Games in this series will be released every 3-4 months after the initial release.

-Over the coming weeks you will see an extreme renovation of the Bodog Casino lobby. Bodog Casino will be adding a whole slew of powerful features to make finding and playing games simple, fun, and exciting.

-This should go without saying, but over the coming days, weeks, months, and years, Bodog Casino will continue to look for and develop more games to excite and entertain "Bodog" players. This is always top of mind within the Bodog Casino team.

Thanks!

I have met Becky

I have met Becky great gal - but still can't get over how bad bodog really got before they started to realize that their customers were important. I am not sold on bodog yet and would like to see if they keep up the good work - right now it seems to be smoke and mirrors (I hope not)
If Bodog does keep up their end of the PR it will only do good things for the casino and betting world IMO

Good luck Bodog prove me wrong;)

Hi Becky, thank you very much, it looks like, that it now works, although i've never got any answer back from your technical support, as i was promised :(

However the casino is the slowest ever, because it takes about 10 minutes to download the casino and for downloading only one slot it takes also 2 minutes, which is not normal, because on every another RTG casino it takes only 5-10 seconds to download a single slot.

Maybe you should upgrade your server? ;)

Deposit options?????

I was going to try Bodog out years ago when they were strictly poker, but Canadians couldn't sign up there. Are canadians now allowed to play at Bodog?

On your website there is no banking information, what deposit methods do you support?

I refuse to sign up at a site when I don't even know if I can fund the account.

I am very happy to say that Canadians are now able to play at Bodog.ca. The deposit methods should be listed at Bodog.ca? I cannot see them from here as I'm not located in Canada, but if it's not obvious where to find them, I suggest giving CS a call and they will explain what your options are.

Thanks and enjoy!
