Casino Complaint Bodog Casino Issue

Isn't it Bodog that doesn't have the "Stop Spin" feature on their slots?

I haven't played at Bodog for many months now, but that wouldn't surprise me one bit.

Even their progressives are drastically lower than other RTG casinos, because of the fact that they're not on the RTG network at all. They're also the last to add new games, too.

For those two reasons I stated above, I have no idea why people continue to play at Bodog...

and FWIW, their poker client SUCKS. It's the worst I've ever seen, and I've played at quite at quite a few poker networks over the years.

I'm up overall at Bodog, but it's mostly from poker winnings. I do like the fact that you can transfer poker monies to the casino and vise-versa, but I still refuse to play there any longer.

and as far as the odd blackjack experiences go, this is typical for RTG in general, not just Bodog. I wouldn't touch RTG's blackjack games with a 10 foot pole.

I didn't know they were severed from RTG

Hey there, just to explain the Bodog Casino software and RTG relationship, I'd like to pass on a quote from the Casino product manager of BodogBrand.com:

"The casino software licensed to Bodog brand licensees is no longer accurately described as the RTG Casino product. BodogBrand acquired the rights to the RTG Casino source code in early 2007 and, since then, the product has been significantly enhanced and has undergone continuous development. Today, the casino platform licensed to the Bodog brand licensees is effectively a wholly proprietary product. Moreover, the divergence between the game portfolio and look and feel of standard RTG licensees and the brand licensees proprietary product will be increasingly apparent as new bespoke games are under active development and significant upgrades to the instant play lobby and downloadable client are imminent. The proprietary products Casino RNG was certified by Gaming Associates as recently as April of 2008".

Please let me know if you have any questions,
Becky

I'm sorry to hear that you feel this way, but I do want to mention that

Bodog is my preferred poker and casino site because I make more money reliably on both softwares than any other software. Oh, and also, cashouts are faster than anyone else, no muss, no fuss.

Well, for starters, the table GUI is horrible. Sorry, but it looks like a 12 year old designed it.

And then a few weeks ago I thought I'd give one of Bodog's freerolls a try. What a waste of my time. The client continually froze on me, to the point of having to force the client closed via task mgr and restarting it.

Really? How fast are they paying out now? I've always gotten checks from PokerStars within 4 days of my request. They never ask for documents or anything, even if you use a debit/cc to deposit.

I just checked Bodog's cashier, and they not only quote 4-7 business days, but they also only allow you one free check per month. If you want WU, then you might get it faster, but you have to pay some pretty steep fees for this, and can use it once every 7 days.

wu:

Payout Amount Fee
$100 - $200 $40
$201 - $500 $50
$501 - $1000 $80
$1001 - $3000 $150

note: the normal WU fees for sending up to $200 is $20....half of what Bodog wants. I could understand them adding a little vig for this service, but an extra 100%?

but anyways, I'm not here to try and change anyone's mind about playing there. I'm just stating my opinion about them.

It's true that you get only one free payout per month, but for the fee, they fedex checks to you overnight. And it's not like other sites where they fedex it overnight "AFTER we have finished spending a day or two proceesing a check payout demand to send to the check processor and they need a couple days to process that and send us back your check" so that we can fedex it to you - no, it's a matter of three or four days from payout to check in hand.

Yes, WU is expensive - I haven't done it yet, though if I could get that as my preferred method and with lower fees, I would love that.

Ditto. I'm just saying, I've played all the US-friendly softwares, and most all of the 'white labels' within each category, and Bodog is on my short list, along with Full Tilt and Box24 - i.e., if I have entertainment money, and if it is in short supply, it is likely to get put on Bodog.

Not that anybody cares how much money I've made because I'm sure it's nothing compared to some of ya'll, but I've had over $15,000 of cashouts from Bodog since may. All of it playing roulette. My point is that it has got to be a fair casino if a person can win that consistently, especially at roulette.

Don't let Ghost hear you say that.:eek2:

It wouldnt suprise me if every casino manipulated their software for their own wealth gain. Afterall they only open the casinos to make money!

All casino games favour the house, some enormously so. Casinos don't need to cheat to make money, they just need to open their doors to let the punters play.

So whats like the average turn around time for getting a WU or a Check sent to the US? Also are documents required to cash out or no?

In my experience, three days. Yes, the verification procedure is painstaking and can take time, but since I was verified, I have had absolutely no problems getting paid. As a matter of fact, I had an issue, got them on the phone (yes, they have a phone number), and they cleared it up immediately and cheerfully. I really like Bodog.

Yea, every time i use a cc i have never used before, that is the only time docs are required. I always receive my WU transfer pickup details within a matter of hours after a payout request. A check has never taken longer than 3 days to get to my house. I have been using Bodog for almost 2 years and this is my experience time in and time out. Consistently.

Hey there, I spoke directly with the VP of Bodog Network about your complaint above. He assured me that this is a rare problem but his team is working on gradually reducing the memory usage of the poker client. Hopefully this will solve the problem for you.

Hi again, I spoke with the Bodog casino manager about your complaints and I have a few facts to share with you and the group. The goal of his team is to bring the best games in the industry to Bodog Casino so that all players will have a great selection of fun games to choose from. In order to make this happen:

-In late January, Bodog Casino be adding a whole set of 40 new games. This set will include great table games, exciting video pokers, fast and furious slots, and a lot of fun specialty games.

-In April, Bodog Casino will release the first of a series of very cool new games that will be EXCLUSIVE to the Bodog Casino and available only to "Bodog" players. Games in this series will be released every 3-4 months after the initial release in April.

-Over the coming weeks you will see an extreme renovation of the Bodog Casino lobby. Bodog Casino will be adding a whole slew of powerful features to make finding and playing games simple, fun, and exciting.

-This should go without saying, but over the coming days, weeks, months, and years, Bodog Casino will continue to look for and develop more games to excite and entertain "Bodog" players. This is always top of mind within the Bodog Casino team.

Please let me know if you have any questions!

Becky
