I've read quite a few threads on here about individuals having trouble playing from the US now. I understand all the problems with Neteller and other wallet systems. I contacted Bodog via email, they said I could deposit funds via visa/mastercard and withdraw funds via check by mail or courier. The withdraw times are pretty long, around 20 days. I don't have a problem with this as long as it does withdraw when they say it will.

I also asked if they have ever had a check not accepted at a bank. They said they haven't had any issues like that. I live in Illinois so I was kinda worried.

Is anyone playing on Bodog and everthing working ok, its just taking a long time to do withdraws?

I was going to email iNetBet next, unless someone can chime in on there success/failure?

I've just now wanted to start online gambling, the closest casino is 2hrs from me. I've almost decided its not worth it given all the problems people seem to have.

Thanks for any help!

Please explain? I've experienced Bodog to be a extremely legit casino. Quick payouts, prompt customerservice responses etc.

I wouldn't pay much attention to this guy, he married a rich prig in florida for his money, spends his days on a 42 inch boat, hates casinos that pay, and takes paper bags full off discounted money from online casinos in parking lots.

Other than that, fine fellow, and I'm sure he has valid info about bodog:rolleyes:

I have deposited an withdrawn from Bodog
quite a bit I use Click2pay an ewallet
they are very fast with withdraw's

The only thing I don't like is if U do more
then 1 withdraw per month
they charge $20 per withdraw
yep that is what I said for each an every 1
only the 1st withdraw is Free

Good Luck

Cindy

Thanks for the info everyone. I was aware of the withdraw fee, pretty steep but they want to keep our money as long as they can.

steep more like
having to pay a extra fee
for playing there
which is bull s___
I let my cash build up
the whole month then cashout

Cindy

$20 for a withdrawl? Sheesh, makes me glad I am Canadian and can't play there. I've heard good things about it, but that is just insane.

to UGABOGA - Sorry for the delay ---
As an American player, most deposit methods for Bodog have vanished.
There payout time frame for Americans are S-L-O-W at best.
They have recently moved, I mean they FLED from their Costa Rica location
& , the company leader is a convicted felon for internet fraud who dares not to step foot on US soil !!!!!!
Other than that, the site is pretty neat !!!!!! BUT BEWARE !!!!!!!

Keep in mind that Bodog is also a sportsbook and withdrawal fees are much more common in such operations compared to casino-only sites.

Which is, I guess, why I don't play at sportsbooks. Why is it so common and why do people put up with it? As if an operation like Bodog needs to charge to withdraw, they just do it because they can and people just pay it.

Enough exclamation points?

What you've stated is a bunch of hooey - i.e. BS. Care to back up your claim?

I don't know for certain, but my guess is that the average house take on sports bettors, from the time they deposit until they withdraw, is typically less than that for casino wagerers. So to make up the difference sportsbooks will charge more withdrawal fees.

they started charging the $20 close to when
they had the fiasco about the domain bit
so maybe IMO this is how he intends to
collect his Fine

used to cash out almost daily then wham hey we are charging $20
right after they stopped the WU payouts which was in june

Dear Ms. Spears,

Thank you for contacting Bodog Customer Service.

Effective immediately, you will be able to request one free payout per calendar month. After your first payout, there will be
a $20 charge for each additional payout.

We anticipate that this change will speed up our current payout system considerably by alleviating the current backlog of
payouts with our processing company. As a result, we expect to be able to provide timely payouts in the way that we have
become accustomed to over our 12 year history.

Please note that this will start on June 12th and that all of our clients will still be eligible for one free payout in June
regardless of any other payouts still pending from the month of June. For more information on these policy changes, please
visit our website at

Old / Expired Link.

Should you require further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Kind Regards,

Bodog Customer Service

so there ya have it I still play there quite a bit as I do cashout but I still think $20 is steep

Good Luck All

Cindy

That's a really, really crap policy change. Really crap. :eek2:

Cindy

speeds it up because less people will cashout on account of that bullshit fee.

lame, lame, LAME!

"to insure prompt service", bite me!

i can't play there anyhow, but i still think it's ghey.

Iv'e requested a few withdrawals over the last 2 months and I get the payout in 5-8 days. It takes a few days to get processed and then is sent be fedex 2-day.

I think the attacks on Bodog here are a bit unfair. In regards to the $20 withdrawal fee, I believe they make up for that elsewhere.

Bodog for me has really been the total solution, in terms of Sportsbook & casino. I started gambling online back in 1996, mostly online sportsbook and have only recently (2 years or so) started playing at online casinos reguarly.

Now as a sports punter and casino player, Bodog really presents a total solution for me. Most online sportsbook have standalone flash casinos, whilst Bodog provides a reputable sportsbook and casino service using the RTG platform (which we all love).

Unlike many other casinos/sportsbooks, the Bodog site is organised, with a well defined layout. None of this flashing, over saturated content crap.

Let's also not forget their superb customer service. I have always and I repeat ALWAYS received a reply with 15 minutes. I have requested a wide range of services fromt the e-mail support, such as adding more events, grading bets (only a few minutes after the result was known) etc. They have always replied with useful and informative replies (unlike many other online casinos/sportsbooks where the staff haven't got a clue). I would rate only a few other books on their level when it comes to customer service, that would be Centrebet & Multibet. The only negative point about their CS, is that I believe their CSR's should sign their e-mails with a name... not the usual signature "Best Regards, Customer Service". Personalisation is always a nice touch for any client.

Bodog is definitely one of the most professional players in the online gambling world.

As for the withdrawal fee, I can understand that it can be very hectic for the book's processor to handle numerous transfers per player per month, when you offer so many value added services (Casino, sportsbook, poker etc). So I really don't have an issue with the fee.

I have always been paid reguarly by bodog. The case regarding their domain name in my opinion is ludicrous, it should've been settled in their favour long time ago.

I don't think stating that the $20 fee is bs is unwarrented at all. My opinion is, if you're going to offer both casino and sportbooks, you need to have adequate staff in order to process everything quickly and efficiently - NOT charge everyone a hefty, way too high fee, just so that people will think twice about cashing out! (And let's be honest here, that IS the reason. Less cashouts mean more people going bust, more money in the casino's wallet, and "faster" cashouts for those who do pay the $20 as there are less people waiting in line.)

They could have charged a much smaller fee, like $5, and people wouldn't really care, they'd cash out more often, and the casino would collect $5 time and time again. $20 is crazy, it would be pointless for someone like me to play there as I often make many cashouts of $50-$100.

If you're enjoying the place, that's great! More power to you. However my opinion of the $20 being ridiculously steep still stands.

Yes but can you imagine the processing nightmare for the company, if users cash out sums of between $20-$150 several times every month, week etc?

It would create an immense backlog and you have to remember that Bodog caters for some serious professionals, when it comes to sports betting / handicapers.

I really see the casino as a value-added service for their clients and not their main service offering. Bodog is well renown in the sports betting community.

I guess you're just not their target market, of course there is nothing wrong with that.

Again nothing wrong with the amount you stake or withdraw, I guess it's just the frequency of these kinds of withdrawals that they're trying to curb.

The same happens at other large reputable sportsbooks, like Betcris/Bookmaker.com (they dont even offer one free withdrawal per month) for example.

Come On Bodog, even lowering the fee down to $10 per payment is going in the right direction. Throw us a bone here!

Did you see how I did that ? Dog..get it? :)

I also think $20 withdrawal fees are a bit too much. If they want to reduce the frequency of withdrawals they could structure them in increments ie the 1st withdrawal in any month is $1, then $5 for the second, $10 for the 3rd and so on. Those who withdraw small amounts will be deterred from withdrawing ever so often.
