Fun is.....
I wish everyone to stay safe & just let her blow by us.
Here in Connecticut we are getting 2ft of this white shit.
Get your shovels out because this is going to be a Big one for us.
I wish everyone the best that's in her path.

If this 39" prediction (that's over 100cm) in Boston is anywhere near true, some people won't make it. This is some serious life threatening sh*t. The city will be completely paralyzed and ambulances, firetrucks and the police won't be able to move.

I do hope everyone took heed and stockpiled food, medications, and heating fuel. Storms like this are also a good reason to keep your heating units in good working order.

Stay warm and safe.

Good luck to you all! Pop in and post every now and then folks - we worry about you....

started here around 2am in ontario, canada i'm close to hamilton and london,, been out shoveling the deck off three times so far and still falling, we're only expecting 15-25 cm so really not too bad:) so to those that gets tons ,, keep safe and warm

Boston is supposed to get hit hard. I am on the other side of the state (western mass)

Right now at almost 9am there is nothing going on. A flurry here and there.

Overnight is supposed to be the worst here, high winds (25-40mph) blizzard conditions, and heavy wet snow. I heard 18 inches where we are. I am more worried about losing power. Being in New England we are prepaired for snow.

Hubby went to fill our cars with gas last night about dinner time, and the cars were in line out into the street.

Grrrrr....I hate this shit.

This shit just started here..
I wish you the best "Just Play"

TY sweety.

CT is supposed to get hit hard too! We are above and to the left of the worst. We are going to get high winds, and gusts up to 50mph, I hate high winds!!! For some reason they scare me. I just called hubby and told him to get home, lol, he is out doing his second job (took inclimate weather day for full time job)

The worst of it all is my daughter is sick, hubby is getting sick and I feel hot. Just in time for everything to be closed, lol.

Please be careful Tom, and if you can keep up posted.

Here's an update on the storm. I woke up about 30 minutes ago, husband tried to bring out dogs but there's no way for them to walk, so hubby is out shoveling a path so they can do their business. Hubby is 6'1, and the snow goes up to his knees in our driveway. I have been watching the news, they say they are estimating our snow as anywhere from 16-20 inches, it's hard to get a reading because the of the winds that pushed the snow around. No power outages reported in Western Mass. I'll take a picture later.

All I can say is I am glad I am off for three days lol
We are all good here in Ct.
Woke up today at 4:30am and saw 2ft of this stuff.
I started doing my driveway at 7am & just got done with the help of my son. (Thank God)
I'll take a picture later also.
Glad to see "Just Play" your ok too.
& also at this time all roads are closed.

Here are 2 pics...first is my hubby borrowing our neighbors blower (after he shoveled half the driveway!!!) yes he's wearing my hat, LMAO...second is the end of our street, we live on a dead end, that is a one story condo to the right, you can see how high the snow pile is from the snowplow. Sorry so big.

Soon I am going for a walk to take a look around the neighborhood.
I was watching the Snow Bunny next door lol & I am hoping she will do my sidewalk like she did on that last storm.
She's Hot.

Someone on Facebook posted some pics of his car buried up to the windows. I have sympathy, we get snows like that here too. Hope you're all keeping safe and warm.

Yes Max1mike...that's what it looked like! We have large greyhounds and they couldn't/wouldn't walk through it, they had to wait.

Updated snow...22-25 inches in my area.

We went out with the dogs at 1pm this afternoon and saw only one other car....my hubby brought my daughter to my fathers at 4pm and he only saw 3 trucks on the road. He lives a few miles from our house.
