I have been very curious about this game in the Playtech casinos.
Unfortunately usually it is excluded by all bonuses.

I decided to play it anyway on my own money to get a feeling of it. I did it at Bet365 casino

Here they are my impressions:
Overall I think the odds are more or less in line with a standard Blackjack (is there any site which calculated the actual odds?). I started out at 100$ and I got as high as 170$ and as low as 8$ (ouchhh). In the end I withdrew my deposit (still waiting for the actual cash-out).

The real annoying thing is the automatic push when the dealer hits 22 (not for BJ thou), which represents at least 20% of dealer busts (but I think that's where they get the house edge). Also BJ pays 1:1 and not 3:2.

Overall I think it is more fun than standard Blackjack, where you pretty much end up following basic strategy. Here you have the option of combining the two hands switching the cards and that's where you really get to be creative in twisting the cards you got.

Has anybody else played the game? What do you think?

I agree with you.
I don't play a lot of Blackjack - but I really like this game!
I also played at Bet365 and found it fun and fair - much better than 'normal' blackjack.

(Haven't played recently though as all Playtechs are on my grey-list! (not quite black) :( )

i too would stay away from all playtechs for now until they get their shit together. just go to the casino complaints forum and look at the joyland thread. but on the other hand if i was going to put my money in any of them it would most likely be bet365

in my opnion, still, best blackjack type is double exposure blackjack.thanks god for this game.

I like that game but the house edge is usually quite higher than normal BJ

yes,if we look reports, double exp. bj's payout is %2 les than normal bj.But if you play with strategy, you can win more than normal bj.deciding to hit or stand with seeing delaer's both two cards is great and very helpful.

The lower payout already takes into account perfect strategy! I don't think the payout is less because of bad strategy, it is less even when paid perfectly. That is what house edge is. The house doesn't depend on mistakes to make money, only the laws of probability.
