Bitstarz delayed my withdrawals waiting for a response from the game providers on a $6k win

That's a BS excuse from them. No reason at all they'd need to "check" these pays and they're just delaying so you'll reverse.

Find a different casino.

Me? No, I love Bitstarz they have been great with me and only yesterday I have received a loyalty bonus of $39 which I managed to wager through, ended up winning $340 and they let me withdraw even though winnings from bonus is $100 max :)

I said it in the other thread. I think the game check was just a cover for them to check something else.

You can google your heart out to see if you can find complaints about bitStarz delaying payments without justification. I doubt you will find many.

The level of attempted fraud at these grey market casinos is way, way, way higher than at UKGC or MGA casinos.

Not saying the OP is such a case but we have again not all facts of the story. So bashing the casino is surely not the way to go. The OP can only blame herself as bitStarz offers plenty of tools one can temporarily activate to avoid losing winnings.

Whilst I am saying this, I am no fan of Softswiss, quite the contrary.

If they lied about why they delayed the withdrawal then they are liars and don't deserve to be accredited.
If they were doing a game check, then my comments are justified.

Same comments about the game checks would also be said by me to any other casino who did it.

No casino will tell you that they are checking your account for fraud or similar. It would be like informing a criminal that they are under investigation.

Are you that naive Colin? Or just in the mood to bash a casino?

Not saying OP is such a case but we do not have all facts, just the post of the OP. Plus, she made two threads about the same issue, that is usually a tactic people use to put pressure on a casino or are trying to smear their reputation.

She's also been a member for over 10 years, if she was doing something dodgy, I would have thought it would have been before now.
If the casino suspect fraud then the account should be locked, they clearly didn't mind her spending £6k, and however much before her win. Lock the account and make some shit up about needing some extra verification documents and stop all play while they investigate fraud, allowing her to keep playing says to me they didn't suspect fraud at all.
Stuff like this is abhorrent, no different to Casumo refusing withdrawals while they do SoW checks but quite happy to accept deposits while it's ongoing.

Well well, new would not be long till the so called accredited bitzstarz from the banana republic, remember that there they play with their own rules, by the way where is ollie the rep, have not been seen since accredited, ripped by them so when I see this shit . Don't play there . Ojo same thing, but 2 withdrawals just to get my money back, 3k 2 days, just go on 48hrs cool off, till get etransfer code. Any casino that will not let you flush or lock, is scammer.

The first post was on Sat, 24hrs later she got it up to 10K and squandered it all away. Little to do with the casino refusing to pay, all to do with lack of self-control. People can always activate controls if there is an issue, she didn't bother. Sorry, but I have little sympathy for people who refuse to use things that are at their disposal.

We don't know the circumstances and should wait for more information. I wouldn't necessarily lock an account if I investigate potential fraud as it could serve as a warning.

You know Colin, I have always bells ringing when someone straight away questions the accreditation just because they did not get paid within a few hours. This was over the weekend as well.

Harry I remember you from a few years back blaming 32red for the same thing though. You reversed all your winnings because they refused to flush them. Do you remember? How can you now say you have no sympathy for individuals like that when all I gave you then was sympathy.

Yes, I did that.

But things have changed a lot since Dec 2015. Casinos offer now a whole host of self-set controls to every player. There is no reason any more to reverse, instead a few simple clicks can secure your winnings. Hence, why I lost sympathy, I wouldn't think any different if it was myself doing it today.

32RED did not have that at the time, at least not for players to set-up easily and remove again.

I literally told the rep that I’m afraid and tempted to recall it and he did not offer any tips on not to get tempted. Just an apology. Where would you go to lock the account?

I lost tons of winnings over the years because of reversals (not lately though), so I know how you feel.

Usually, RG controls are in your account settings. Here, from the bitStarz FAQ. Set a wager-limit of $1, $10 or $100/day and you won't lose big withdrawals. Removing limits takes 7 days to happen.

Sorry but the only reason to do this is to delay payment, in the hope the customer reverses and loses it all back.

Unless of course microgaming have a history of throwing out faulty spins?
Maybe the bitstarz rep can confirm how many faulty spins they have come across?
Also maybe they can confirm how many of mina's losing spins were checked with Microgaming, obviously if they think there was a chance of a winning one being incorrect, then a losing one could be incorrect too, so they must randomly check a selection of spins?
There are 2 issues here, firstly if they don't trust the slot providers and have to check big wins, why are they even in business. When this individuals lost the £6,000 did they say "hang on, lets check those spins as that's a lot of money to lose" - of course they didn't - all these checks appear to be a one sided business.

The second issue is whether the individual in question should be capped at the casino, if someone plays through that amount of money in such a short time after winning it, that should surely ring alarm bells somewhere with regards to responsible gambling.

I have little sympathy for someone who wins £6k and then throws it back in (done it myself before being a dickhead) - but there doesn't appear to have been any controls imposed on the inflow, only on the outflow.

Well yes, exactly. This used to be pretty commonplace a few years ago, and I said the same then, if they need to check big wins, then they should be checking smaller ones and losing spins. If a spin that pays big can be faulty, then so can losing ones. Who's to say a losing spin shouldn't have paid £6000, if a winning one paying £6000 might have been meant to pay £0.

I can understand network wide progressive jackpots being checked, but not normal spins. This one wasn't even that much, we see much bigger multipliers in the screenshot section regularly.

Still don't get it. They from the banana republic, they make their own rules, if they want to pay they pay. If not they lay all the document shit on you. My opinion only but if a casino is straight they let you flush or lock. Don't know how they got accredited but that's life. Good casinos lockwithdraw.
