Heiya fellows,

Has anyone here gambled in the form of bitcoin before? Where I am from, Norway, it is completely legal to do so.
Any advice or recommendations?

I believe that bitcoin is a very promising currency. Reading articles about **snip** 2019 I find more and more information about globalization of gambling.
Unfortunately, everything takes time. But i am sure that bitcoins have a future.

If you've turned up at Casinomeister with the intention of promoting your affiliate site then you may find your stay here is a very short one.

Please read the forum rules and don't do it again.

Thank-you

Bitcoin betting is perfect for countries like mine, where gambling is banned. Even when you sign up to bookie through VPN, you can't withdraw money to bank or skrill. So btc payment is the solution. When you want to cashout bitcoins anonymously, you can use local.bitcoin.com
This decentralized P2P exchange doesn't require KYC/AML so you don't have to send any ID scans and provide you real name. Just sign up with email and sell/buy bitcoin cash. Here is short video how it works:

Its actually nice to play in BTC for me as well.
I do play only at Bitstarz, there are other casinos, however Bitstarz is the only one with many providers allowing BTC currency.
Some other sites like iLucki, when you launch a provider, it automatically change your currency to USD or Euro so be aware of that factor.

How is the verification process and AML/RG (SOW) process at bitcoin casinoes?

Is it the same thing as Casumo where you are forced to show proof of wealth, where the money is coming from etc? Account statements that shows how you funded your bitcoin wallet?

@BitStarz - your license is Curacao, right?

They have Curacao license yes. So I do not believe UK punters can play there.

I have never actually heard of anyone that went through SOW at Bitstarz. I guess if you reach a certain threshold you might get asked for SOW not sure. To me it seems like its only UK punters 99% of the time that get hit with SOW?

Standard verification was applied to my account, uploaded the docs and within 2 minutes I was verified, this was carried out before my 1st withdrawal. Verification took 2 minutes after docs was uploaded and money took less than 5 minutes to hit my BTC wallet there after.

Now that I am verified, when I withdraw, within 5 minutes I receive a notification that my BTC is already waiting confirmation.

In terms of SOW for BTC, I guess Olle @BitStarz can come and chime in here.

Made a deposit with bitcoin on bitstarz (twice the size I wanted due to inexperience but oh well),

It worked allright, limited game selectoin and massive minimum bets for many play'n go games (2€!), but the process was hassle-free.

Didn't get to withdraw (I would if I had known how lol) but wasn't left with a bad experience.

Hi there,

Awesome to hear that you had a decent experience (sorry you didn't win anything though :( )

With that said, you raise a very important point about the minimum bets. We try to stay on top of them, but sometimes we forget that the value of crypto changes so quickly. If you find a game with very high minimum bet and you wish to see it being lower, just reach out and I'll be happy to lower it for you :) I mean, maybe not to 0.0005 USD per spin equivalent but within reason of course :)

Wish you all the best of luck at BitStarz or another casino of your choice. Oh, and have a good weekend.

Olle

I would never trade with bitcoin it is too dangerous and you can end up losing everything veryquickly.

The odds are way too stacked againts you.

Justin

Hi Justin,

If you're looking to trade with Bitcoin, yeah I agree with you, I wouldn't have the nerve to do that :) I would treat it
as a long term high-risk investment with very little stake.

Playing casino with bitcoin is another story though, especially when you can convert the BTC to for example EUR
on deposit at for example BitStarz :)

Then again, owning BTC and other cryptocurrencies is not for everyone :) everyone's different.

Olle

I live in the Uk but gamble with bitcoin. I prefer it because I can sell the bitcoin I win very quickly. *snip*

This is the only option UK players will have in a few years when the UKGC has completely strangled the UK market and all the Malta based casinos have gone and all that is left is online bookies with max £1 spins and 94% RTP or less on all slots.
