Bit of a strange one

Right so I won a bit on paddy power and took some out the cash machine with my PP card. I had a nice little balance of £120 left so I went and bought a few items of clothing of ASOS. As you can use PP card like a debit card it has contactless too etc. So anyway clothes came and the blazer didn’t fit so I sent it back for a refund. I then realised I used my PP card and not my actual debit card. Wondering how a refund would work in this instance as the PP card is linked to my PP account. Didn’t think refunds could go back to prepaid card and if it did would it just go onto my PP casino balance weird as I have no clue and live chat isn’t working for me for some reason past day or so :-/ anyone know the answer to this as it’s baffling me

Strangely enough, had something similar happen recently

Was a few quid in my Skrill, so decided to top up gas and pay with Skrill pre-pay mastercard.

During the transaction at the shop everything went tits up and they said they'd have to send refund to card.

I politely questioned whether this was possible as had no experience of such.

Refund went in today zero balance now showing the original £12 I tried to pay for gas top up with

Oh cool I can stop worrying now hahaha!! It baffled me glad it will be ok x

It should be returned to your PP account tho might take a few days. But refunds do go back to your account.

12.2. Where a merchant provides a refund for any reason, for example, if you return the goods as faulty, it can take several days for the notification of the refund and the money itself to reach us. Please allow up to 10 days from the date the refund was carried out for the refund to be applied to your Available Funds.

Only about 12 hours - Glad as I was thinking days, maybe even weeks.

Reason I was thinking this is it happened a couple of years ago at Smyth's toys and they took payment twice, refund took about 3 week IIRC

They said up to five days if had used my halifax it would of been quicker visas always quicker some reason. Oh god I would of been spitting feathers hahaha should of give you some boys toya as an apology

Defo, Had my eye on the Lego Death Star for sometime now but never gonna have £400 'spare' dosh to throw at something like that, tight sods
