Bit Coin Casinos Review

Will you be accepting players from the usa?

The management has confirmed that US players will be allowed to play for Bitcoins soon. We just need to apply few technical fixes. Will keep you posted.

what ive seen

Some of the aristocrat copys are quite god seems they have ripped off the iphone versions rather than the pc browser versions
id say the iphone version would be easier to hack up and the package would be built easier to work with than having to build it from scratch

Thanks for the heads up Homerbert. Who would have guessed an older review, before the news came out about the scam software. Would become a main Facebook selling point for them.

I have e-mailed them asking them to take it down, yet to date they still yet to do such a thing.

I signed up at Bitstars but . . .

As an American, it seems the only games I can play are the same BetSoft games I could play anywhere. Did I miss something?

Until you are able to offer some games for Bitcoin wagering that are currently unavailable to US Residents I doubt I'll deposit. We are HUNGRY for VARIETY and SICK of RTG.

Yes :) I was talking about Princess Star casino, not Bitstars :) There will be Amatic games available.

Also the question is when quickfire is going to allow Bitcoins. Right now they block their games for every player with USA IP address, or with VPN. So firstly you need one legislation like Curacao officially allowing Bitcoins, and then Microgaming will come.

I noticed that Bit Stars does not reverse the bonus amount on cashout, thats nice making play thru and getting to keep the bonus

I put this is winning screen shots but I think this is a good teaching screen shot for this thread as well. I have a lot of trouble calculating my bet size and was concerned about breaking the bonus terms. Support did e-mail me back and I'm good so I just need to make WR.
So here is how to calculate the wager in bitcoin on the bet below:
5 lines, bet size is 1.00 for a total bet of 500. In bitcoin terms that is equal to .005 btc

The bet I was concerned about was 9 lines 5 coins per line coin value of .05. 9x5x.05=225 or .00225btc bet size.

In further review of Bitstars ( I did not sleep much last night thinking I had blown $700) the T&C states:

Until the play through requirements have been met, the maximum bet that can be placed is €5 or 100 mBTC (0.1 BTC). This includes double up wagers after the game round has been completed, for example, wagering winnings from X game round on red/black.

now euro does not apply to me because I'm playing in Bitcoin, the mBTC means nothing to me because americans don't know the metric system so again, this is not the currency break down for me so I see the generic decimal format of 0.1 BTC and that makes sense to me.

Problem is that 0.1 BTC is about $50 and probably a typo. That is more that 5 Euros and I'm guessing is off 1 decimal place for 100 mBTC. I am e-mailing bitstars to correct this as it most likely needs to state .01 BTC and this is what I was focused on during my play. I did not break it anyway but it could have gotten ugly if I had. ( you have been warned)

Great win friend, congrats! :)
No worry, i am pretty sure you did not breach any terms, and also most likely it is really 0.1BTC max bet for this currency.

The Bitstars Team says... Thanks!

Hi there,

Thank you so much for highlighting this typo:)

We have now amended the terms and conditions and the clause reads as per below:

Until the play through requirements have been met, the maximum bet that can be placed is €5 or 15 mBTC (0.015 BTC). This includes double up wagers after the game round has been completed, for example, wagering winnings from X game round on red/black.

Here at bitstars we always appreciate feedback and in this case such honest feedback saved us from a potentially sticky situation so thanks again for that.

As a side note - I recommed you log into your Bitstars.net account today Googobucs as we have left you something as a token of our appreciation :)

Thanks again and keep that feedback coming guys :)

Not sure I understand. Are you talking about the gamble feature? So if I won $ 5.00 on a game, then hit the gamble button I broke the terms if I win? Or even if I simply won 3.00, the gamble feature would put me over. Why not disable the gamble feature during bonus play then? As that would be very easy to break the term if I'm understanding it correctly? And I've always thought the gamble feature was part of the original slot spin, just a different way of showing results. In other words I figured it was already determined from the slot spin if I would win my gamble, and if so how many I would win. Then from there if I actually lost the gamble I figured it was no different than simply losing a few normal spins. So if I lost a 10.00 gamble I figured I was going to lose approx 10.00 worth of slot spins anyway. I know that sounds silly but it wouldn't have crossed my mind that was part of the max bet limit.

For that matter I still don't understand why places don't just limited the bet amount. Sorry to beat a dead horse, but at the 3dice blackjack table for example if I take a bonus, my max bet is limited. Same with a few other casinos. If a game or bet size is not allowed, the game will kick you out, or not allow the bet size.

when converting mtc to us dollars, I like the little calculator at the bottom of the game screens that will calculate at the current conversion rate (this is on bit stars)
The nice thing is you can either put the us dollar amount in or the m bit amount in and it will convert that
so right now 266 m bit coins = $100 usd

Thanks. This is really helpful. I never really know how much my bet size is. I just guess at it. This will be really helpful for me.

Bitstars update

I completed my bonus wagering last night about 8pm and cashed out 1.650 BTC ( $625) on my $50 deposit. I left about $50 to play with.
The withdraw hit my wallet at 2am so 6 hours to process. It's Saturday so not sure how long it will take Circle to get it to my bank account. I guess it will be there Monday based on Cheetahwinds experience with Circle and bank to bank transfers but I never count my eggs until they are in the basket

This is my first cash out and I've had a lot of dealings with their CS folks and so far the experience has been really good. If they continue down this path I predict the first bitcoin accredited may be these guys.

Thanks for the update

If it doesn't post Monday it should Tuesday at latest I forget if the wekends come into play with the bank to bank transfers I just know seems like it's withdrawal with Circle weekday get next business day

I'm curious though what fee bit stars charges on deposits because it says send any amount plus miner fee. What's a miner fee?

The only fees that I have noticed so far are when I actually purchase the bitcoin. I purchased $50 and there was a $1.45 fee but that was on the Circle side.
I just looked at my last transaction and I sent .1362 btc from circle and bitstars posted .1362 btc to my account. So there was no fee that I can see.

Cool that's not much. And thanks for explaining I wonder why I purchased $45 and showed up less at bit stars. It's on the circle side :)

It could also be because the BTC rate against the $ fluctuates constantly. I make my purchase in $$$'s but I always do my transfers in BTC to keep it clean. Otherwise you end up with odd .0021001 amounts in your wallet. :D

I'm a little lost when you said metric the conversation is 1000 mBTC = 1 bitcoin

I'm a little lost when you said metric the conversation is 1000 mBTC = 1 bitcoin

If you say so. 1000 mbtc could = a pot of chicken noodle soup for all I know. The m part is what throws me off because it's a metric term. I sort of learned this in 3rd grade so I think the m mean either meter, micro or milli and I dont really know what those thing mean either... but who knows....LOL

If Jimmy Carter had been re-elected i could probably tell you what mbtc means :D

Yes 1,000 ,BTC = 1 BTC or Bit Coin. So if you deposit 0.05 BTC that would be 50 mBTC.

I know it's weird and takes some getting used to, but once you get the hang of it. It's not so bad.

So it would appear that Bit Coin casinos are now sprouting up like fire.

There's another new casino out called Tetraplay Casino. Uses the BetSoft 3D Slots as it's main primary gaming provider. They also carry some my favorite Sugar Pop and Boomanji.

Otherwise the only thing I'm confused about was the bonus system. It would appear that the bonuses aren't credited the standard way. Basically you make your deposit, play with your money first. Then if you loose on your own money. Then they credit you a bonus with a wagering requirement. Otherwise if you win on your own money, you won't have to worry about a bonus being attached with a wagering requirement. Then you can cash out right away without needing to grind out wagering. Especially if it's a nice win. I guess because this seems new to me, I haven't made a deposit yet to see if it really works that way. If it does that would be awesome.

Otherwise the minimum to deposit for a bonus is 0.1 BTC. Which for some folks like myself would then require at least a $40 deposit to get a bonus in return. (Round figure BTW, not really the exact amount, but just giving people an idea of what the approx round figured USD amount would be).

Then apparently now 5dimes.eu also takes Bit Coins now. Minimum deposit is $100 USD in Bit Coin. So basically at least 0.4 BTC minimum to make a deposit that way. Otherwise I have no idea if you withdrawal the same way or not.

Just a few things that I have found out this weekend, while finally having some time to explore some other Bit Coin options. Hopefully will update more in the future.

I can confirm that the RTG powered casino operated by 5Dimes is for all intents and purposes now "Bitcoin friendly" as BTC deposits and withdrawals are supported by 5Dimes.

This supports my earlier prediction that at least one significant US facing RTG casino would get on the Bitcoin bandwagon within a year. This really should be a huge wakeup call to Club World, Inetbet, and the Jackpot Capital groups. The longer they drag their feet and stay in the cumbersome credit cards and checks world the more likely they will bleed players to the Bitcoin rooms.

Just a matter of time IMO.
