Hi folks,

I hit it big at GUTS last night:

I was excited to think that I would have my withdrawal within 2 hours. Unfortunately this is not the case as it is being reviewed by the security department who are not in on weekends.

Part of me knows I should have nothing to worry about as it's GUTS and their customer service has always been fantastic and Ben does a great job here.

The other part of me doesn't feel like I can rest until it shows 'Success' in the transaction list.

Am I stupid for feeling this way? Is it just normal procedure for a win of that size?

I would really appreciate your input.

Adam.

Royal Flush. So pretty :notworthy

Bit of a strange one. £8,000 isn't exactly huge for a casino like Guts (it's a great win for an individual though - well done!), but I'm sure they have their reasons.
I wouldn't worry - provided you've done nothing untoward you definitely will be paid. I do find it a bit odd though.

I have previously sent and had my documents accepted. Not sure what might have caused the additional check. I hope Ben might stop by to set my mind at ease.

Sent Ben a PM to set my mind at ease.

Had a reply from him within minutes and the withdrawal is being processed.

This is exactly why GUTS get the majority of my online gaming action. With that kind of service why would I play anywhere else?

Thanks to Ben and GUTS. Planning a trip to Vegas as I type this.

Lucky guy. I want to go to Caesars at least once in my lifetime.
I don't know how much you would need for the average trip but I want to make sure I have LOTS before I go.

Ceasars is great. The almost centre strip location is perfect and the rooms are some of the nicest I have ever stayed in.

Been wanting to go back since 2011, and I think now is the perfect time.

I was playing on mobile when this hit at 2.15am. I barely got a wink of sleep but have just seen the withdrawal confirmed so it might be time for a nap.

I think you chose a very nice game as well.
There are a lot of good reasons to play JOB over other VPs.
Take Microgaming's All Aces for example. Sure it has a slightly higher return but only pays 5 coins for two pair.
The low variance of JOB makes it much safer than other games.
I have played JOB for hours on a deposit of $100 betting $5/hand. On the other ones you probably couldn't do it.
EDIT: maybe hours is an exaggeration but I'm sure you get the point.

And then there is Deuces Wild. I love playing that, it's the most fun VP at casinos right now.
But it has it's problems too; a lower return.

I agree with you. A solid JoB is a steady way to play with a relatively small bankroll.

I used to play Microgaming's Deuces & Joker which I absolutely love. Its becoming hard to find now. I have hit the 4 Deuces & Joker a staggering 7 times, the most for £20000 back in 2007 with Ladbrokes.

I haven't hit anything bigger than £4000 since 2008 so last night was a great surprise.

I have a host at Caesars who I would gladly introduce you two when you are ready to make that trip!

It might not be till some years. But thanks for the offer.

Congrats on the win. Be sure to treat yourself (and or whoever) to something nice!

We booked a trip today. Heading out in March next year for a few days in San Antonio, Texas followed by a week in Vegas.

I have always thought its important to buy something major with a good win. God knows its easy to give it back slowly and just how hard it can be to win in the first place.

If you are going to play VP in Vegas you might be able to win even more. I hear the VP there is pretty good.
You would have to know how to play VP though. No auto-hold on those machines I think.
