There must be some regulations what makes this wrong... This game on purpose leads player to losing with false bullshit it gives... That gamble system is just like 4 cards faces down and it doesnt matter what you pick.. so why the fuck you make it look like that there is actually better chance with some options.. ITS WRONG

Fruit machines have done it forever. "The machine may offer you a gamble which you have no chance of winning."

Don't take the gamble. If it's going to pay out big, it'll find a way to do it in the spins you've been given. Gamble the spins and you're gambling the win before you've seen it.

yeah but normally machine dont tell you DONT PICK THIS ONE ITS HAS 1% chance! this one does

If I play 100/1 roulette, pick one number and if lands on that number is that game bent aswell?

The thing I find wrong with millionaire is the fact that when u ‘walk away’ I have NEVER seen the game flash up anything else other than the highest %age answer as the correct one. That feels wrong to me, because as we all know it certainly isn’t always the correct answer!!!

People seem to think the 83% chance (one of the most common high %age votes) as a dead cert. But of course it’s a little under 1 in 4. Which of course means that you will lose that gamble on that many occasions.

That can happen several times on the bounce unfortunately.

I can tell you from experience it’s fucking annoying when it does. Especially when each bonus has cost over a thousand spins.

It’s a sick game.

Perhaps @Big Time Gaming can explain how the gamble works in the back ground and why the answer reveal when walking away is always the highest? The ‘reveal’ part clearly is bent IMO.

They only put that disclaimer on the machines off the back of our 'Fair Play' campaign though :)

And of course our land based fruit machine that you are referring to were compensated and certain blocks in place prevented one from winning under any circumstances.

This of course isn’t the case on our millionaire friend.........................

I must admit it is surprising they were able to present a random gamble in this way, smacks of deliberately attempting to mislead the player. Imagine you're on £2 stake, lost £300, got the bonus, gambled for ten spins on the basis of 80% and it fails, it's going to trigger the player I would have thought and make him angry as if he has been cheated. If you play it on 20p then the danger and risk of calamity is not as high, a bit more forgiveable then.

Sorry @PMKFRUITPRO but can you explain how 83% transforms to a less than 1 in 4 chance ? Maths isn't my forte

The whole design of the bonus on WWTBAM stinks IMO, the problem is that if people don't vote with their wallets, but instead just keeping playing games like this whilst also moaning about how bent they think it is, then BTG aren't exactly going to be motivated to (a) Tell anyone how it works and (b) Change their behaviour. (See also - lower RTPs and people still playing at lower RTP casinos.)

There is a mention of best strategy in the rules but it doesn't cover the free spins gamble, unlike the rules for Mystery Reels Megaways which explicitly states optimal strategy for the free spins gamble.

IMO if there is a choice a player can make that influences (or appears to influence) RTP then the regulations should insist that the rules clearly display what the best choice is.

Ofc it shows highest when you dont pick it.. ITS rigged as fuck like i said... And it lures you to pick highest next time to lose your spins.. simple as that

Ain't every game rigged whenever you lose though?

PS, not a big fan of the bonus gamble myself, and therefore a BTG I've hardly played.

i can’t explain it because it’s bit under 1 in 5!!! Slight fuck up there!!!

So you're describing a slot as 'rigged' whilst also still spending money on the slot you say is rigged.

See the problem here?

Doesn't that say exactly what you say it doesn't? (The only time the lifelines come up is in the free spins gamble.)

Good old Rev Stu.

But that's also how the TV show works. It's happened a few times where the majority of the TV audience vote one way, but for them to be wrong and the least popular option to win.

I just look at it as a 50/50 gamble from the outset.

Do I want to lose the free spins? No? Accept 8 (or whatever).

Has it taken ages to trigger this bonus? Yes. Accept 8 (or whatever).

1) Sorry dan, you are entirely correct, I haven't even looked at this game since the last time I played it on my channel, but yes, it's basically saying 'the best strategy is to always gamble following the odds shown', but that kind of implies that the odds shown aren't necessarily the actual odds. So for Extra Chilli, from memory it says 'The best strategy is to always gamble', this is just a variation on that.

Still sucks that it doesn't say what the difference to long term results is by not following the advice though, 0.1% RTP, 1% RTP, 10% RTP? Does not following the advice 'lock off' certain wins? etc

2) It's not much, but it's more than fruit machine manufacturers were ever required to display on their machines regarding unwinnable 'gambles' before or since, and whenever I see that notice on a fruit machine a bit of me thinks, 'Hey, cool, we did that'.

3) I think you're right but I still think it's a nasty piece of game design that doesn't have to exist at all.

50/50 should be what it says it is. As for ATA or PAF, then unless the result is influenced in some way (and we don’t know for sure) then A, B, C and D should all be represented by 25% as they are the true odds.

When you view it that way, you would have to be very brave to gamble even once.

No they shouldn't be 25%. They should reflect exactly the odds they say otherwise you misleading the player and Gambling Commissions all over the world should not allow that. Not in theory at least. If something has 75% chance then it should be the answer 17 times out of 20.

So for example you pick "A" at 75%,"B" is 10%, C is also 10% and "D" is 5%, then behind the scenes theres a pie wheel with 4 parts. One part 75% two parts at 10% and one part at 5%

You press final answer for a. Wheel takes off and the pin should land on your selection 75% of the time. Of course this is theoretically as I don't know that's how they work it. I'm just envisaging how I think the gamble is carried out.

EDIT: to say I'm not changing it but 17/20 is clearly 85% not 75% I am a thicko and shall leave it there as punishment
