New Slot Announcement Big Time Gaming - Who Wants To Be A Millionaire

Big Time Gaming is reviewed by Casinomeister - read our review and comment here in this forum thread.
I dont play this much but just had a bash and got the bonus @ 60p stake. Gambled up to 18 free spins then lost back down to 10.

Does anyone know if the optimum strategy to always gamble for glory?

The optimum strategy for BTG is for you to gamble your spins and lose.

Optimal strategy for us mortals is not to gamble at all IMPO. Gambled those spins and lost them sometimes 3-4 times on the trot. Then again, I believe that if you take the spins that were meant to be a losing gamble, then they don't pay anything anyway...

A few big hits came via the 8 spins... so why risk it? Not like the forum is booming with screenshots of 50 spins - let alone a mere 30 spins. Tells you a story doesn't it..

Always said it was a bit fishy when the game launched and they held a comp. IIRC the first person to hit the 50 spins won (I didn’t enter).

@SteveBr won the comp and I remember thinking, that’s seems dodgy because how could they even guarantee that someone would hit 50 spins. Not saying it was rigged for Steve to win but that someone from CM would hit the 50 spins and here we are a few years later and as @Nate says we don’t even see a mere 30, despite how many thousands of attempts???;)

I remember The bandit was going for the 50 spins.
Dont remember how long it took him tho, but i know it took a shitload of bonuses.
I think it paid just a bit over 1000x.

Just like with all megaways slots, extra scatters/retriggers just means more deadspins.

This one I posted in the 1000x thread a few days ago...
Biggest win I've had on this and from 8 spins, the 14 spins I had before it paid £4.
I had another bonus after and it paid £16 again on 8 spins.

I nearly always gamble from 8 unless it's a 50/50, I'll maybe change how I approach this now.

I cant even begin to understand how they fix it for rtp testing. Does every bonus perform its own gamble?

The only way i can understand it could be done would be if every bonus pays similar regardless of gambled spins, hence why 8 spins bonuses hit some big numbers., but thats my guess.
@trancemonkey may be able to help...

Its very easy... and no every bonus does not "pay similar regardless of gambled spins"...

Basically, you would run a very large number of bonus rounds starting with each option. This tells you the simulated value for each.
Of course, if the maths is calculabe then even better, because you know what each option is worth. You can then adjust the chance for the gamble to win/lose to make sure you get the desired RTP. So for example, if 8 spins averages 30x and 12 spins averages 50x, then you would have a 66% chance of winning the gamble and a 33% chance of losing in order to run the gamble at 100% (I.e true odds)

Its actually reasonably simple maths

He never got 50 spins nor did he session the game either.

Craigslots tried it recently but don’t think he ever got past 20 as far as I remember.

Getting to 20 is pretty much a miracle.

I think the issue is that people automatically think if you get, say 16 spins, you will automatically be entitled to a certain return. Yes, you can get a big win off 8 spins but because small wins are far more common, along with the 8 spins, they don’t register as much. If you fight to get 14+ spins not only is that less common but bad wins will stand out that much more.

Are you sure?
I got this vague memory of him reaching 50, but my memory is pretty shit, so i may be wrong.
=)

2x times in a row when I tried to make 10 out of the 8 freespins, the audience was about 75% for answer C - so me. Correct answer would have been D with roundabout 11% and so I had at least 0 (zero) freespins to play !!! Anymore questions ?

I play a motoG with Android10.

I was put off it a while ago when the reel animations became really jerky. I assumed it was down to me using an early beta of the latest iOS, but it’s been like it for months now, and no other BTG games have the same effect.

Yes, I thought it was down to me also. The jerky reels being the main issue. At the same time I started having issues with Extra Chilli and Lil’ Devil, where the wilds and winning combinations blackout and the bonus rounds are not enjoyable so I have had to stop playing them.

I did notice it was fixed on one site so thinking great, I tried it on others but still the same. Any chance you could look into this please @BTG_Official_ReadOnly3.
