    Hello,

Im getting started in the possibilities of sports betting.
I was pointed into an intresting direction, namely the betting on multiple over/unders for 1 of the 2 teams.
You can get 1.3 (decimal) odds on a match if you choose a fairly safe bet of the away team staying under 1.5 goals
Or total goals of a match under 4.5.
1,3 odds to the 12th power (max combo matches) gives 23x stake odds. 100 becomes 2300... sweet deal
Obviously you need to dig a bit into it. It seems like the big leagues (premier, bundes, primiera, eredivisie) are less likely to experience lower classed teams to score in excess of 2 goals.
Ofcourse it remains betting /gambling. But with a helpfull stats site like vitibet, it does get a bit simpler.

Can someone give me helpfull tips on what details in statistics could be meaningfull but are easily overlooked?
In every competition round of a country the sportsbooks put bets that are made like as if they are sure things with low odds, or give high odds on all outcomes to lure you in.
Can you , or do you think you can, or is it even possible to filter the matches that they want you to choose, by the odds?
What helpfull stats / datamining programs / rules / etc can i use to improve my chances?

I bet every day on over under goals in matches.

The bookies price the markets according to the teams playing. If its a team that scores a lot of goals then the price is lower than it would be for a team that struggles to score.

But from experience theres no statistics that will really help its just luck.

Quite often you find a team that regularly scores a lot scores only once and a team thats scored on average 1 a game hits 5.

Take it by different leagues around europe. The french 2nd division and spanish 2nd division have few goals so over 0.5 goals in first half is about 4/6. Then take like dutch 2nd division. The average price on 0ver 0.5 goals is like 1/6 as its s free scoring league

Tonight for instance william hill are offering enhanced price of 12/1 on at least 1 goal in first half of english premier league matches and 7/1 on over 1 goal in the whole match for 7 games. To me thats a value bet especially the 2 or more goals in whole match at 7/1 so i bet that tonight.

Does the way you write the odds translate to win/stake and min win is 1?

I rarely bet on dutch foorball. Mostly premier league , french league and a little spain and italy.

Do you bet on multiple matches in 1 bet or single matches?

I normally bet multiple matches tho if its an in play match i will bet on goals during it.

Sorry way i wrote the odds were fractional. So if i write it as 1/2 it would be like 1.5. 4/6 would be like 1.66

you are right Paul that its luck involved. But stating that there is no statistics that will help and its only luck is not correct :)

If you use stats and did same amount bet every day using stats then i can assure you would have a much healthier bank roll after months. As most bets would win but there is always some that doesn't and yes that is the luck.

But by using stats and also checking teams you also need to look at many factors like their squad. Any injuries or banned players. Is it top against bottom. Is it a local derby game? Also many other factors like is game close to maybe a more important game within 3-4 days. Like premier league clubs who are in champions league. All these things makes a big change in what "stats" just give you :)

I am hoping to get facebook page up running proper again welcome to have a follow without linking its called Bets4Bookies :) (maybe i should make the facebook page hidden or make a private one as i know many dont like having their facebook profile linked with gambling? ) i hope to start providing good tips again as i used to do £10-£1000 challenges etc. But would like to do over and under games as well. I also way back in time posted at my gambling forum a great almost sure if not then 99% profitable way to make money and winnings just by picked 1 or 2 teams in premier league. And make bets for them to draw every game and I made system on how many units to bet each time. But will need to dig it up again. Will be happy to try help you guys who are interested maybe show experiment here in sports section at casinomeister :)

He wasnt asking about stats for teams winning tho. Using stats on teams form etc. should let you pick the winning teams on the majority of occasions. But on over under goals markets the stats are less helpful. That is why i said its more luck betting om goals markets
