They say karma is a bitch and this is proof positive. What horrible parents these people were. It was painful to read about it when the story broke and still painful to think about it today. How can anybody do this to a helpless child. May this woman burn in hell and I am rooting for the partner to follow her soon.

Don´t get me wrong, these parents were evil and just sick as f*ck, and should be put in prison for a veeery long time.

But this "mob-style" bashing on people this sick, is just so easy, wishing a painful death to anybody and even celebrate their death is disgusting too in my opinion. Seems some people need this just to feel better in a way..

It´s the style of boulevard tabloids like the sun or "bild" in germany, all full of hate. What is more easy to hate the childabuser, murder etc.. So every pour individual can put the finger on them, so his own life is less miserable. This just shows the weakness of character.

It reminds me of lynch-self justice which i thought mankind has left behind in most parts of the world.

In emotion i understand if people say these kinda things, but if you feel if they could they would it scares me..

You have your thoughts we have ours. See I was a cop and until you look into the eyes of a dead child or abused child you will never understand. Or even better the pieces of shit people that child called mom or dad. Look into their eyes you see no regret you see no remorse what you do see is a child who had no chance in this world because no one got involved and the parents didn't want them. Or even worse the parents are so sick they enjoy hurting their kids. Yes that was an answer when asked a dad why he hit his son and broke his ribs and arms his response because it was fun and made him feel good. i rather see these pieces of shit get prison justice any day over the right to breath the same air that I do. I only hope in prison that they beat her some starved her and tortured her before she died. So she could feel a bit of the pain she inflicted on her child.

After re-reading the details of the trial, it was apparent that the mom and stepdad had no remorse whatsoever and did everything to save their skin after the little boy's murder. I could not find any psychological analysis of the perpetrators. Husband and wife were in an agressive and abusive relationship, but still very much attracted to each other. Whatever the circumstances (heavy drinking, drugs) their horrible crime is beyond understanding. So terribly sad.

No, not a 'lynch mob' mentality at all just a natural hatred and revulsion that any decent parent would feel. If we had a lynch mob society they wouldn't have gotten as far as jail.

When the basic human nature is that a mother (and father) should protect their progeny, cases like this are a perversion of mankind.

There are certain crimes where the perpetrators are beyond redemption and contempt and child torture, abuse and murder is one.

So as a decent parent ex-f*cking-cuse me if allow myself a little gloat that at least half of this evil pair has had their payback, one that our liberal justice system doesn't provide for...

I never excused the crime in any aspect! It was just about how outside people that have personally nothing to do with that particular crime judge here, or even wish death to them.

And the word "do-gooders" is a bit misplaced here, by trying to explain a certain crime in a fe psychological aspect you do not excuse anything, you just try to understand what leads people to this.

I think the fact that these kind of crimes have a long sentence to follow is common sense, but every society shows its own character by how it treats its worst enemy(s).
