Betspin - the holy grail of casinos

Was playing this evening, deposited £20 and was over £100 so decided I'd withdraw £70 and play with the rest.

Went to withdraw to Neteller and noticed that the site now prefills your Neteller ID and doesn't require your secret code. Great stuff.

Was one minor glitch - it wouldn't allow withdrawals below £100. Spoke to live chat who got someone to fix it - was done within 30 minutes.

Having worked in IT I know just how difficult it can be to get a dev interested let alone resolving a problem.

The customer focus and agility displayed by these guys never ceases to amaze me.

If they don't win casino of the year this year i'll eat my hat.

Agreed - this casino is super quick and helpful on service . The vip freebies aren't bad either and you get bad to neteller very quickly

I signed up with Betspin before realising that they have a fee for depositing money with a debit card.

I therefore suspended/excluded my account for a year.

My question is, why am I still receiving emails from them? I just received one headed "here's 6 reasons why you should choose Betspin..."

What is the point of that when I can't log into the account (quite rightly given I suspended/excluded my account).

Surely when I suspend my account, I should not be receiving any promotional emails?

Perhaps the rep can pass their comments on this.

Hi Interlog,

You obviously should not receive these emails. Please PM me your Betspin username so we can solve the issue and see what's wrong.

Cheers,
mikko

Hey interlog,

That's strange as we have an API setup with our ESP that should prevent any emails going out to players who have self excluded.
I will look into this straight away and try to find out why this has happened.

Obviously we definitely do not want to send any promotional emails to players who have self excluded for obvious reasons, so my sincere apologies for that.
I'll let you know our findings as soon as we have investigated this.

Thanks in advance,
Phil.

2 days after I sent the PM, it still hasn't been read.

Bit disappointed by that. Just because I suspended my account, doesn't mean that my query about unwanted email shouldn't be dealt with.

This topic is all about how good Betspin is. My experience is different.

My apologies Interlog, Phil managed to use his brain and found your username without needing to ask it. So I forgot to reply that to you as it's been so busy two days. Sorry again, your case is been investigated and we'll come back to you as soon as we know how it happened.

Agree with you as always .This casino will be getting awards in the further .:notworthy:notworthy:notworthy Looking forward to voting this one as well

Received another email off them, this time titled "xxx, fancy an early retirement?" with the body of the email stating:

For the price of a few beers or a movie ticket you could become a millionaire when playing any of our multi million jackpot games.

To give you a helping hand we'll double your first deposit for double the chances of taking down that life changing win!

Just enter the bonus code 'BETSPIN1' to benefit from an extra 100% up to £100 bonus.

Thats not all, that same deposit will also give you an extra 25 free spins to play South Park Reel Chaos and entry into the draw to win an iPhone6.

Is this your lucky day? Are you our next big winner?

Given the casino knows about my earlier issue of receiving emails whilst the account is suspended/self excluded, I find it quite frankly shocking that this email dropped into my email box earlier this morning.

E-Mails such as these may push a person that has a gambling problem and self excluded (not me, I have given the reason for not wanting to deposit at this casino up topic) into wanting to try their luck at a casino.

For the sake of those that self excluded from casinos including Betspin because of gambling problems, I sincerely hope Betspin looks into this issue of receiving promotional emails that encourage gambling whilst the account is suspended/self excluded as a matter of priority.

Hi again Interlog,

Yes this is very urgent issue for us and it's been fixed as we speak (or rather since we spoke). I wish it would have been just a small fix but it wasn't unfortunately. I will let you and the rest know when the issue is fixed.

My sincere apologies again,
mikko

Hey interlog,

Firstly please accept my sincere apologies for the emails that you have received.
This is not something we have intentionally done for obvious reasons and we completely understand the severity of emailing players if they have self excluded.

That being said our tech guys have thoroughly investigated this matter and I am now pleased to confirm that a fix has been applied and I am 100% confident that this will not happen again.
Once again please accept my sincere apologies for this error and if there is anything else I can assist you with in the meantime just let me know.

Thanks,
Phil.

Thanks for the replies guys.

I am glad that the issue has been fixed. I was in two minds whether to report it or just delete the emails without letting you know but am glad I did the former if the result is a fix of a bug within your system.
