There's some other thread here about watching the wagering counter in RTG but I couldn't find it. This is a different spin on it. Redeemed this coupon from an email yesterday:

CouponCode: 700CASHBACK
On Deposits of $10-$500

Code 700CASHBACK has 30x playthrough on deposit plus bonus

Deposited 35, received 245, for 280. Did some quick math and figured out the wagering counter showed 25x (7,000) instead of 30x (8,400). Figured if I zeroed out the wagering counter, I would contact them about grinding out the rest. Busted so it's not an issue for me. Sent an email to support a few minutes ago.

As long as I've been playing, I don't recall a RTG counter not matching a coupon. Just a heads up for BP players...

This same issue inspired my thread I started:

https://www.casinomeister.com/forum...os-to-cheat-you-on-playthrough-amounts.39068/

OK, well, I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt, but I have brought this up before both in a post here, prior to my thread yesterday and via live chat support. Day before yesterday I cantacted NicolasJohnson, our affiliate manager / rep here at CasinoMeister. He told me it would be fixed yesterday and he would let me know. So far I have not heard back from him, but he may have just forgotten. I'm a bit disappointed that this has been brought to their attention before and nothing has been done about it. Now you bring it up. I was not going to out this casino, but now it is out, so oh well.

Hi, got the email offer from BetPhoenix and redeemed the coupon with a $25 deposit. Offer was 600% bonus, with a further 100% cashback if you lost.
They credited my account incorrectly with $200 (should have been $175) and the playthrough counter only showed $5,000 (only ). I contacted live chat, I've been okayed to just go ahead with the promotion as it stands in the cashier, and the cashback offer still applies, I just have to ask for it manually if I bust out.

Hard to knock a casino that gives you too much money with not enough wagering, and stands by the offer.

BTW, that offer was by email invitation only, so if you didn't receive one, you shouldn't use it.

Jasmine, the fact that they gave you too much money and not enough playthrough simply means that whoever is setting these things up sucks at math.

I can't give them a pass on overstating my playthrough because it is an unfair practice, period, and puts the player at further disadvantage. (like it's not hard enough to win without the added value feature, slanted toward the casino. )

If you playthrough is too high, that's definitely unacceptable. I wouldn't have been thrilled if I'd had to wait to have things sorted instead of being able to play either.

I would think that when they enter coupons into their data base that they could use a test account to make sure they work correctly before making them live.

Hey...unrelated to the counter, I know, but I was doing good til I got within 4000 of the stated playthrough. I still had over a $1500 balance, then just like someone threw a switch, the casino literally turned off. I can't hit shit and now my balance is way below my initial $1050 bonus. According to the cashier I have played through almost $26,000! Only $5 in comps too.

Here is your comp problem

Dean's reply:

Thank you very much for addressing this out to us..We are human and do tend to make small mistakes, I appreciate your honesty and thank you again for pointing this out to me.

I have credited you with $20 free chip. Regular rules will apply.

Sorry for the misunderstanding.

Regards,

I have no doubt they would have honored the 25x. Other RTG casinos, not so much...

BP has horrible bonuses, many with high playthrough requirements and max cashout restrictions. Am I missing something. Why are people playing there ?

The reason is plenty of playtime with a small deposit methinks. If only I were able to deposit at Betphoenix I would love to take their 600%-700% bonuses and play all weekend with just $25.

That's fine and all, but keep in mind that the max cashout is 10x the deposit, and not the bonus.

So in other words, you're risking $25 to win a maximum of $250.

...and what happens when you amazingly hit that $5,000 RJ?

I actually took the 350% bonus and deposited $300. The max cashout on my coupon is 15x. Playthrough is 20x. That's not too bad if you make a good sized deposit. I've managed to make the playthrough but so far I don't have enough to cash out since I need to be up and above the bonus amount, which was $1050. I have enough to keep playing tho.

The thing of it is, once the RJ's start getting higher or if they start grouping them, this max cashout issue is really going to be a problem for most players. Say the jackpot gets combined for some slots and ends up at $15,000. I'd be terrified to ever take a bonus again or to even play those particular slots in fear of hitting it. Why? Because I'd be super duper pissed off that I'm missing out on $12K+ because the bonus I was on had a limit on how much I could cash out.

Another way to work things out would be to actually exclude any RJ winnings from the maximum cashout amount. I mean, think about it. These RJ's are proceeds from other player's losses, and sure it's coming out of their pocket, but hey, this loss for them is already figured in to their bottom line. They have to pay it out, anyways.....and if someone hits it and can't cash out all of it, then what happens if the player just plays it back? It's not like they are going to re-seed the RJ....................

The same goes for progressives!!! What happens when someone hits a $1M+ progressive and they're tied to a maximum cashout? And since they can only cash out a small % of the progressive, what happens when they play $1M+ back into the casino solely for the reason of gaining thousands of dollars in comps?

And aren't these two points moot, anyways? Isn't your balance dropped down to the max cashout once you fulfill the WR?

I've had both good playtime and a choice of bonuses from Bet Phoenix. I won on the SUB freechip, and got a hassle free cashout, even if a little longer than I like, but I was aware of that going in, and it was quicker than they promised me.

Nicholas Johnson is their affiliate rep. I never had any dealing with him since he was Rival, which as a Canadian I cannot play, but I always liked the way he's dealt with issues here at CM.

They sponsor fun contests at a forum I am a member of, and I've had a few free kicks at the cat (with quite high playthrough, but was free).

I can (and do) usually choose bonuses without a max cashout, but I would hope that the last one I took, $325 on a $25 deposit would leave me happy. Or $50 on the second chance. Sometimes a finite goal helps me cashout.

ASAIK BetPhoenix does not group their Randoms.

I've had good support from their team, and that's important to me.

And if I hit that first Random with a max cashout, well, I kinda figured it would happen that way anyways, lol. I figure it will be on one of Inetbets $5 freebies though.

Nicolas is a good guy. He seems to care about the customers. I have no problem with max cashouts and understand why they must be this way.

I finally busted out on my last deposit. I made playthough, but after that could not get ahead over bonus enough to cashout. I wagered about $40,000 trying. I got a little over $7 in comps.....that I don't like. I would have had $80 or more playing at Cherry Red or Titan with no max. Sure they want to be able to give more free chips instead, but their usual terms are 2x max cashout. :( This also marks my 96th deposit at an RTG with no cashout. It didn't used to be this way. I used to win about 40 percent of the time before they tightened things up.

Well, I took one of their big bonuses and after playing 3 days, I made the playthru and cashed out the max of $500. I've sent in my docs, never used a credit card, made sure that everything was fine via CS so I really hope everything goes OK. This is my first cashout with them.

We shall see. :D

Congrats to you! I always use QuickTender for my deposits. In all fairness I got ahead about $750.00 before I made playthrough and so if I hadn't taken a bonus I could have cashed out. There is a case where bonuses can work against you. I would deposit there again and next time I may go with no bonus, depending on how much money I have. I just like having the bigger bankroll with a bonus because, as most of us know, if you deposit 50 or 100 dollars, it probably won't last very long.

Cashed out another $800 from Bet Phoenix last night. Sure with they would pay quicker than 5-7 days. But they don't so I guess I will just be glad they will pay.

However, you would think that a casino would see the reasoning in quicker payments because 9 times out of 10, the player will redeposit some of it back.
