On June 5th, 2004 I was bored and decided to get rid of 180.00$ I had lying around in my Betonsports.com account. I was impatient that day so I played their casino. I lost at first but won a couple big bets and gained some momentum. I started playing blackjack and through some kind of miracle I turn about 180.00 in 11,000.00. It took me seven hours. I was elated. At this point I tried to cash out. I sent them faxes of my license and the credit card I used to make the initial transaction. They gave me the wrong fax number at first, which I dismissed, but little did I know it was a harbinger of things to come.
By June 8th, 2004 Betonsports.com had received all the proper info needed to complete a payout. They took my address and told me a check for 10,760.00 was going to be mailed to be by the end of the week. I waited. No check came. I called them back on the 12th of June; they said that they were waiting for clearance from their casino dept and that a check would be on its way soon. I waited, no check. I called on June 15th, no progress, casino is still checking the win. At this point I got impatient and called Jim at the OSGA. Jim got back to me and said that it takes a while for them to pay a big win, they were just checking it. He said that their casino GM Kyle was on vacation and that we could get things done when he gets back. I waited some more, called them a few times to check the situation and got no progress. On June 28th I called and spoke with kyle the GM, he said that the casino had checked the win and that they found some anomalies in my play, but that betonsports.com was going to pay. I didn't know what to think at this point. Is he accusing me of cheating at computer blackjack? Well anyways he said they were going to pay so in the end I was happy. He asked me to fax over my credit card statement from the month I made the original deposit(February). I promptly did so. I called and they said wait for a member of management to call you. No one called.
On July 5th I called Betonsports.com to see what was going on. I talked to Roger at extension 3115. Roger told me that Kyle had received my Credit Card statement and that they were going to pay me. I said great, finally this thing is going to be over with. He said they were having problem with fedex and suggested that I use a bank wire. I agreed and proceeded to give Roger all of my account info. Roger told me that the money should be in the account by the end of the week. On July 9th I checked with my bank, No money. I asked them if they had been contacted about an incoming wire, they said no. I waited till today, July 14th, no money, no evidence of a wire coming in. Something was not right with Betonsports.com again.
I called up Roger at Betonsports today and he told me that management still did not clear the payout and that Kylie is on vacation. He said that there is nothing he could do about it at the moment and that I would have to wait for Kyle to get back from vacation next Wednesday. This is AFTER they take all my banking info they try to tell me this. At this point I don't think I'm going to get paid and I'm furious.
I'm sorry for making this post as long as it is, but I like everybody to know the situation and the utter bullshit I've been going through to receive a payout. Believe it or not I'm leaving out a lot of other details concerning Betonsports lying ways, but I'll save that for another time. What is the moral to this story? 1) Betonsports.com casino is inept 2) Betonsports.com lies in order to stall big winners 3) Betonsports.com does not trust its own casino software and makes the player pay for it. 4) Kyle the GM takes a lot of vacations(two in the past month) 5) Betonsports.com does not want to pay its big winners.

If anybody can help in this situation it would be greatly appreciated,
    Thank you

Kyle's reputation proceeds him. Does anybody know what software provider these clowns use? I think we need to orchestrate a firestorm of activity on the software provider. Tripnine if you havn't done so yet I'd suggest that you fill out a pitch a bitch form here on the Casinomeister site so that Bryan can have all the particulars. Sorry to see stuff is still going on. Welcome to the forum.

    Software provider

    Cipher,
I'm not quite sure who their provider is. They only mentioned the name 1 time on the phone and I did not think enough to write it down at the time. I beleive it was inter....(something), I know thats vague but I'm gonna get on that once I get up tomorrow. I've Pitched a Bitch with Bryan, but then I emailed him back and said the situation looked as though it was getting resolved(which it did). At this point, Bos changed thier tune and tied up the cash with managment again. I also have register a complaint with Jim at OSGA and am in the process of registering a complaint with SBR.

    Bethug,
What do you mean by "run up their 800 number", I'm not quite sure I wanna do that yet.

Thank you, both of you guys. It's tough to find help with these things.

    Number

Bos's direct line to payouts is 1-800-873-4870, they also have other numbers for customer service.

If they are such crooks, why haven't I seen any other sites blacklisting them or any other forums discusing their rogueness?

This is what got me in the first place(their rep). How did they manage to slip under the radar?

    I'm probably screwed

Last time we checked them they were using IQ Ludorum, I think.

Tripnine, keep hammering (politely and responsibly) away at them; we will take this up as a news item and we will be contacted the management today for their side of the story (an explanation, in other words) which may exert a little pressure, too.

I will also let Sports 911 know about this issue.

In the meantime, pitch a bitch and report any new developments here so we can track the story.

    Software

I found an article that said ICQ Lodorum was their software provider. I don't know how current it is.

I tried to keep my calm when dealing with BOS at first, but I'm afraid I Flipped my lid yesterday. I went off on Roger from the payout deptartment. I get infuriated when I have my banking info scammed from me. I'll try to be more level headed in the future.

Info for anybody who inquires with BOS by phone: I guess my direct point of contact is Roger ext 3115. Kyle is the one holding up the cash according to Roger. Most others who you talk to know nothing about the situation or are under the impression that the money was sent. Unfortunetely, Kyle is on vacation until next Wednesday and he appears to be the only one who can answer any questions.

    Thanks

I would let sports911 know. They give BOS a rating of 2 (1 best) Even betcris and WSEX, two monster books are a 4. Part of their rating is the ease of sports911 to get involved and help players with disputes.

    Update

Today I contacted Chris at sports911 personally to make him aware of my situation. I and everybody involved in the the situation are waiting until next Thursday when Kyle gets back from vacation for resolution. I also emailed the payouts department at Betonsports yesterday to make them aware of the situation. Now I just have to wait till Thursday. In the meantime can anybody recommend a sportsbook for the Upcoming football season? I looking for one with a good reputation and speedy payouts(obviously). Any suggestions?

    Thanks,
    Tripnine

Looks like things are stirring over there - I have just had an email from one Jamie Owen of Betonsports Customer Services on email This email is not visible to you. asking for your details to facilitate a check before he answers our questions.

Obviously I cannot do that, so perhaps you should drop him a line, Freudian and see if he can resolve this. I still believe it is ridiculous that the absence of a manager can bring payouts to a grinding halt.

Just for interest, it does not appear that Betonsports' public listing has enjoyed immediate success....no doubt we will be seeing a lot more press comment on this in the coming days.

"BoS started trading on AIM but has thus far experienced very low volumes (1/20th of SBT) which indicates low interest levels in the market and probably an inflated market capitalisation."
