On June 5th, 2004 I was bored and decided to get rid of 180.00$ I had lying around in my Betonsports.com account. I was impatient that day so I played their casino. I lost at first but won a couple big bets and gained some momentum. I started playing blackjack and through some kind of miracle I turn about 180.00 in 11,000.00. It took me seven hours. I was elated. At this point I tried to cash out. I sent them faxes of my license and the credit card I used to make the initial transaction. They gave me the wrong fax number at first, which I dismissed, but little did I know it was a harbinger of things to come.
By June 8th, 2004 Betonsports.com had received all the proper info needed to complete a payout. They took my address and told me a check for 10,760.00 was going to be mailed to be by the end of the week. I waited. No check came. I called them back on the 12th of June; they said that they were waiting for clearance from their casino dept and that a check would be on its way soon. I waited, no check. I called on June 15th, no progress, casino is still checking the win. At this point I got impatient and called Jim at the OSGA. Jim got back to me and said that it takes a while for them to pay a big win, they were just checking it. He said that their casino GM Kyle was on vacation and that we could get things done when he gets back. I waited some more, called them a few times to check the situation and got no progress. On June 28th I called and spoke with kyle the GM, he said that the casino had checked the win and that they found some anomalies in my play, but that betonsports.com was going to pay. I didn't know what to think at this point. Is he accusing me of cheating at computer blackjack? Well anyways he said they were going to pay so in the end I was happy. He asked me to fax over my credit card statement from the month I made the original deposit(February). I promptly did so. I called and they said wait for a member of management to call you. No one called.
On July 5th I called Betonsports.com to see what was going on. I talked to Roger at extension 3115. Roger told me that Kyle had received my Credit Card statement and that they were going to pay me. I said great, finally this thing is going to be over with. He said they were having problem with fedex and suggested that I use a bank wire. I agreed and proceeded to give Roger all of my account info. Roger told me that the money should be in the account by the end of the week. On July 9th I checked with my bank, No money. I asked them if they had been contacted about an incoming wire, they said no. I waited till today, July 14th, no money, no evidence of a wire coming in. Something was not right with Betonsports.com again.
I called up Roger at Betonsports today and he told me that management still did not clear the payout and that Kylie is on vacation. He said that there is nothing he could do about it at the moment and that I would have to wait for Kyle to get back from vacation next Wednesday. This is AFTER they take all my banking info they try to tell me this. At this point I don't think I'm going to get paid and I'm furious.
I'm sorry for making this post as long as it is, but I like everybody to know the situation and the utter bullshit I've been going through to receive a payout. Believe it or not I'm leaving out a lot of other details concerning Betonsports lying ways, but I'll save that for another time. What is the moral to this story? 1) Betonsports.com casino is inept 2) Betonsports.com lies in order to stall big winners 3) Betonsports.com does not trust its own casino software and makes the player pay for it. 4) Kyle the GM takes a lot of vacations(two in the past month) 5) Betonsports.com does not want to pay its big winners.
