Betfred have refused to pay a man £1.7m on a blackjack style win due to a technical glich.

Andrew Green managed to get to £1.7m on a Frankie Dettori game but Betfred claim an update in the game caused a glich and he is now suing them, Betfred have offered £60,000 as a settlement.

Andrew foolishly spent £2,500 celebrating his win including extending his overdraft without receiving a penny of it.

The high court will require evidence of this “glitch” which Betfred are reticent to provide. Hmmm this will be interesting.
