The busy folks at You must register/login in order to see the link. have recently published their report on an investigation of BetFashionTV.com and the links to the previously blacklisted BetFTV.com. The bottom line appears to be that the old BetFTV guys are trying to rebrand themselves as BetFashionTV and thereby walk away from the severely tarnished BetFTV brand.

Doesn't surprise me one bit. A lot of casinos and other types of companies in the world do this.

They think they will get a clean slate. And in 95% of cases they do not and people always know they was a bad company before the re-brand.

The 5% that do re-brand and totally overhaul staff and their systems and retrain staff have a better chance of changing their tarnished look. But that can be extremely difficult to do. It then also depends our severe the damage was.

I feel that it's only prudent to follow-up on this thread and state that we have received communications from an Israeli legal firm this morning claiming to represent Bet FashionTV stating that they are "considering to recommend to our Client to instruct a law firm in the UK to start proceedings against you". They provide 24 hours to take a variety of action including removing all content they object to, publishing an apology to be approved by them and arranging to pay damages.

At the present time we are engaging a legal representative and will respond to them in due course.

Typical attempted 'scare' tactics! They obviously do not like having been busted and being caught out! They have obviously come to realize the serious clout that sites such as ThePogg & CasinoMeister have within the community, well done both!:cool:

Typical Cease and Desist scare tactics. Hold fire on spending monies on solicitor fees just yet. You do not even have to respond to a C & D. It has no legal power whatsoever, other than being a precursor to take legal action.

You have three options: Ignore It, Comply with It or Respond to It.

I would do either option 1 or 3. With 3 probably telling them where they can put said letter.

If they do take legal action, well, any solicitor worth their salt will know they have no chance and will thus be throwing good money after bad.

I've just read your article. So it appears AffPower are involved here.

    Definitely option 3! :D
