Regular readers may recall a recent thread here at Casinomeister where we mentioned some work that ThePogg had done to reveal that BetFashionTV.com was a rebranding effort of the widely blacklisted BetFTV.com: BetFashionTV : rebranded from BetFTV, expect trouble.

Turns out that suddenly ThePogg and every other site that referenced the rebranding are being targeted by 'Black Hat' SEO regarding the rebranded sites. See ThePogg's recent article

I told Bryan on the 10th about around 800 guests all viewing that page in here. I thought it was really strange since it's never that many guests reading this forum at the same time, and definately not the same thread.
I guess this was the reason then

We also have screenshots of this blackhat SEO attack that we will be publishing this afternoon. What a bunch of a-holes.

I want to say thanks to Bryan and CM as a whole on this one - it sends a far clearer message when we all stand together. The support is very much appreciated.

Thanks Webcaz!

It's great to see other webmasters taking a community focused approach to this type of thing. Where parties within the industry are allowed to get away with this type of activity unchecked we foster a culture where these types of attacks are acceptable practice. Choosing to say something isn't the easy option - in many respects anyone who does becomes a target for future negative practices - but the more of us that say something the less effective targeting any one of us becomes. It's one of the many reasons that I'm grateful for CMs support when issues like this arise.

So five days since I also blacklisted Betfashion TV I see the following crap in my Google Site Console. Looking at the pages, it looks like they have been ditched already. But I have disavowed these domains as a result:

domain:de-casino-corocore.com
domain:de-casino-untucked.com
domain:de-casino-quartile.com
domain:de-casino-belatedness.com
domain:de-casino-kneesocks.com

Furthermore AGD have had an update from Aspire Global of which BetFashion TV is a white label of:

"We would like to inform you that due to the severity of the recent events that were reported to us, We, Aspire Global have issued a warning to the Bet Fashion TV group.

A notice of 5 days was addressed to Bet Fashion TV to resolve all and any issues and open complaints with the forum sites content companies.

Should Bet Fashion TV not be able to provide this written verification by Thursday, November 30th EOD, we would be forced to take this issue further."

We want to make it very clear to everyone, that we have never initiated or been involved in any way with any negative or black hat SEO. We believe such activity is wrong. We don’t know who is trying to smear our name, by deliberately engaging in vicious activity in way that seems to falsely place the blame on us. But someone is, and this activity on their part is wrong, and is clearly designed to hurt us. We believe that negative black hat SEO is wrong and this type of conduct goes against both our morals and our culture.
