    Hi,

Last week I participated in this bonus - You must register/login in order to see the link.

The gist of it is if you lose up to £500 and have wagered a certain amount, you will get your losses back.

I played over a couple of days, varying hand sizes but mostly £15 on different outcomes. I finished the promotion around £270 down, and this was credited to me today:

Okay, fine, or at least you'd think so, an hour later this happened:

They claimed back the bonus! Around 30 minutes later I received this email:

This doesn't make any sense to me - I was doing £15 bets on average over 1.5 odds, I don't see how this is 'minimal risk' and certainly not minimal enough to void the bonus over.

I've responded to them but I'm not particularly hopeful that they'll pay out, especially having read some of the horror stories on here.

    Thanks

Quick update - called them a few nights ago, the guy was very helpful and assured me they'd look into it. Also sent an email a couple of days ago, not heard back, and still no sign of the bonus.

I have had similar responses from them. They repeatedly write "We will answer your query within 24 hours" and nothing happens even in 48 hours. I haven't received the "We will deny your cashback" letter at all so I am still optimistic.

By the way blizeH, did your "partner" or "other half" or "better half" also play this bonus because that is also their reason for not honoring the bonus.

I should have guessed that since this promotion was mentioned at The Gambling Times there will be problems from all those UK risk-free bettors who play it in the most "abusive" way possible. Myself, I lost more than one grand playing this.

    Hah, love that video :)

And thanks Jufo! No nothing like that, I've actually just had a call from them though saying the bonus is in my account! Woooo!

I have to say to credit Betfair, both people I dealt with were incredibly helpful/friendly, and I'm obviously happy with the outcome :)

I got a similar email saying I did minimal risk wagering and denied the £500 bonus even though I lost over £700 during wagering betting on odds of over 1.5.

They just flat out refuse to credit me the bonus and are just telling me to take it up with the LGA if I am not happy about it.
