Casino Complaint Betfair - Bet history is different from the actual bet

Hi,

I am new to this forum and fairly new to online casino.

Yesterday I made a bet worth of 17.5£ (includes 15£ on Red, 0.5£ on corner (17,18,20,21), 0.5£ on split(9,12), 0.5£ on split (16,19), 0.5£ on split (27,30) and 0.5£ on Zero.)
The winning number for that spin was 36. But I was not paid any winnings. I remembered all the details because it was the only spin I played during that session.


When I checked the bet history, the bets listed were

Result(36):
Bet Win
Split bet: 26, 27 £0.50 £0.00
Line bet: 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21 £0.50 £0.00
Corner bet: 17, 20, 18, 21 £0.50 £0.00
Straight up: 1 £0.50 £0.00
Straight up: 11 £0.50 £0.00
Black £15.00£0.00
Total £17.50£0.00

I was shocked to see that the history was recorded with totally different bets. How can this happen? The amount involved is significantly smaller. But still this is a very critical issue. I wont be able to provide any proof if the same happens again. This is absolutely cheating. I have lost my faith in Betfair completely and to an extent online gambling.

I have made a complaint and received a reply saying that the bets I have mentioned are wrong. They gave me the same bet history I have mentioned above.

I have withdrawn all my money from my betting account after this has happened. Has this happened before to anyone?

PS: I came to know about this forum only yesterday and learnt that Betfair is listed as a rogue casino. Though its late, I am happy that at least now I know about this forum.

I have raised this issue with out casino software developers too further investigate the details of this spin.

Frankly speaking, even though Betfair is listed as a rogue casino and people have had problems with them, this is the first time I have faced any issues with them. But the nature of the problem is scary. It will leave the players with nothing to prove their side of the story. How can this be allowed?

I just hope it is just a technical problem.

At least Betfair have said that there was an error. Plenty of others would have just said no, your wrong. Keep us up to date.

No, they haven't accepted any errors. They just replied that the developers will investigate it. Hopefully they get to the bottom of it.

If the result was 36 why did they pay on black?

anyway your bet and the result of the game you played is or at least should be in your own history in your own account. Check there and if there is a prob. you will have the game number the exact time
wager placed and returns if any.hope this helps.

Sorry. yes my mistake; but as Betfair use Playtech, as do loads more, it must be a software error if you are indeed correct.

Betfair wrote to me 2 days ago that they found no errors on their system. Categorically denied.

But they offered me 40£ bonus for the inconvenience caused, no wagering required.

Logged in to Live Casino section, welcomed with a message asking to agree for 40£ bonus, clicked 'agree'. Window disappeared, but no trace of the money!
Checked every section of the account, but no bonus money can be seen! Shot another email asking for the money. Seems like Betfair is hell bent to chase me away from their custom.


PS: I googled about the issue and this is not the first instance in live roulette history to happen. So I decided to give betfair the benefit of the technical glitch this time.

You bet 15£ on Red, 36 (red) came up, you were paid zero and didn't take a screen shot? When did you realize you should have been paid on red?

Update:

Finally received 40£ bonus in my account. Bet the bonus amount and won 40£.

Everything ended happily. Would have been gutted if I have lost them.

First of all, I should commend the promptness of Betfair customer service.

Still have got few questions in my mind. Betfair never acknowledged the error. They said nothing was wrong on their side, but provided a compensation out of goodwill. Though happy with the solution, I am still not convinced with it. If the same incident happens again, I will still be left with no possibility to prove my side of the story. And how Betfair would have responded if the bet amount in question was significantly bigger?

It would be great if any of our members have faced the same problem in the past with any live roulette casino?

May I ask screenshot of what? The moment the spin was over, the bets disappears. The history shows completely different numbers for that spin.
