I see that Betbeard are allowing UK players to sign up and play there. Deposits are made through a 'voucher' system using a payment provider called Kinguin. Basically sign up, directed to Kinguin to purchase a Euros 'Voucher' where you enter a 'key' to deposit in Betbeard. If your in the UK you will be able to play No Limit City slots. They then advise that you can access other games simply by using a VPN! On testing, it's true, VPN to another country and up pops Pragmatic, Blueprint, Yggdrasil, Hacksaw, Merckur and a host of others. The problem with this site is that if your in the UK they cannot pay you lol! I advised the UKGC over the weekend, but this company are advertising this "Non Gamstop" "Legitimate" Casino through numerous third parties.

For anyone considering going near this then please reconsider.

They have the good old Curaçao licence.

Reading reviews, it looks like they accept players from anywhere in the world...even from countries where gambling is considered illegal.

Nice to see responsible affiliates like CasinoDaddy and AskGamblers are promoting unlicensed UK gambling:

I had to go to the individual reviews on these sites. To be fair, on Trustpilot some people have already found them out and they were obviously scammed out of their cash.

This Kinguin payment processor are an interesting lot as well. Looks like they get round the country card block by "legitimately" buying a 'gaming voucher'. Quite clever but ultimately illegal.

I must admit I laughed out loud when I saw your username Daz!

Thread title tweaked a bit to avoid confusion with official Casinomeister Rogue listings.

What has happened to Bet Beard? I have money in my account there but it has just disappeared from the net? All searches come up empty? Anyone know any info? Cheers!

shut down or removed their site and done a runner because of fraud. Unfortunately whatever money you had is gone for good.

I think slot providers should be held accountable in some way if their games are hosted on scam sites. The site can fuck off with peoples' money and disappear into thin air, but the game studio keeps their cut and carries on. It would be good if there was some sort of due diligence process introduced, because a lot of rogue places wouldn't even get sign-ups if their site had no games on it. If the player was able to go to the studio for their money because the casino has scammed them, they might think twice about where their games are being hosted, and whether they are being made available illegally to certain players.

Well well...what a surprise this is...lol! Advice, if anyone has used Kinguin to buy vouchers for this site and has funds in their Betbeard accounts you should be able to at least recover funds for the vouchers you purchased under consumer laws.

Kinguin/G2 play are so corrupt in all off this too and unfortunately you are going to have to fight to the death to get anything back and even then you may not. When they process transactions using UK credit cards they use the merchant category code for GAMING and not GAMBLING(these are 2 very different codes) if they were using a gambling code as they are supposed to it would automatically decline UK credit cards. ive spent alot of time investigating the wrong processing of merchant category codes and transaction laundering and this is exactly how you are allowed to bet using a credit card on these sites when you are from the UK. I suppose we have all been warned numerous times but if we need a reminder this is it - dont use non UK casinos if you have a gambling addiction and registered with Gamstop. I appreciate its easier said than done and at times you may get a payout from these casinos but eventually they will milk you dry and as in this case disappear in to thin air.

A) They dont classify themselves as a gambling merchant as this carries a high risk rating from mastercard/visa mainly because of the high risk of chargebacks- if they did the merchant would have to pay Visa/Mastercard a higher payment.

B) They process gambling transactions using a credit card by using a merchant category code for gaming - this is to get around gambling blocks in countries that have strict gambling laws.

I know alot of people probably are becoming aware of this but for anyone who would like to understand the true nature of merchant category code and transaction laundering fraud, just google it.

Good luck all - At times, you may feel that gambling is the only thing that helps you get through but once you break the cycle and start to spend money on yourself/ your family you will realise there is a life without it.

In the days of yore, that would have been the case. Most software providers had the on/off switch for their licensees, and some were adamant that the casinos remain ethical and fair. Microgaming for one - and at times even RTG. Playtech didn't give a flying f%$* since they owned most of their dodgy casinos.

Times have changed now. Most software providers care - but they care more if their games are being pirated (which a number of Curacao based casinos do), but that is whack-a-mole action. We've seen that. And there is not much they are aware of since the path to the people who can take action has been obscured by massive marketing and sales teams.

Betbeard? If you're willing to play at a dodgy outfit, what do you expect? Look at the casino name - isn't that some indicator?

There is someone on another forum who raised a Credit Card chargeback, Section 75 I think who says that Kinguin are disputing the purchase of these vouchers and sent 'evidence' that they were Betbeard Vouchers but that they were to buy GTA5, Fifa and some Instagram likes lol. Dodgier than Philip Schofield in a boys dormitory. Betbeard...the one stop shop for all your video gaming needs lol.

Yes ive done exactly that and sent complaints through to the chief executives of my credit card company and mastercard. They have both responded saying they will fully investigate. This goes beyond money for me to be honest. I sent several complaints before this and chargingback was the only way I could get myself heard to try and find a way to stop this corrupt process. Kinguin are so stupid -They Sent back evidence from my dispute Claiming I purchased gaming vouchers yet when you login in to your kinguin account it says Betbeard casino voucher and the transactions have exactly the same tracking ID. If the credit card company allows them to succesfully defend these disputes then we all might aswell just give up.

So they managed to steal balances from players and reincarnated as this other entity. Wonder how many of those balances will be given back

Betfake, Betgoatee this topic shows if nothing else the value of personal details to these scammers and criminals.
Exactly this - once somebody has been scammed once, they'll start appearing on databases as a target for future scams (such as the email above) and be bombarded with new "opportunities" to lose their money.

The sad part is it'll work too... people assuming something went wrong (the nasty regulators) rather than it being a scam from start to finish.
