It's not a fact!! Depends on the game and the bonus

First of all the house has some kind of advantage on every game they offer!!
If you know a game that has none please let me know! I will run to that site right now!!

Some games like European roulette(single 0) and craps have minimal house advantage. Others like slots have a huge house advantage. I don't play BJ so I am not aware of the house advantage in that game. Perhaps it is similar to slots.

A bonus may make sense for some games depending on the bonus terms.

But it sure isn't a fact if the play thru required is 65x and the game counts only 5% toward reducing the 65x play thru

I would love to find a casino that offers great bonuses on craps or roulette. If you know of one please let me know and I will sign up today and depost a couple thousand today!

Thanks

You are not making any sense, first you title your post 'It's not a fact!! Depends on the game and the bonus' then you follow up by stating 'First of all the house has some kind of advantage on every game they offer!!'

That's what I've been saying all the time, the house has the advantage on all games and the only way to beat that is to use a bonus, if no good enough bonus is offered there is no way.

I wouldnt call 2,7% HA minimal. Craps does indeed have a low HA, but as I dont play it cant tip of a good bonus. Maybe some DGS casino?

BJ usually has an HA of less than 0,5% depending on the rules.

The casinos that do allow blackjack with a bonus weight it in such a way that makes it impossible to clear the WR's. For example, at MG casinos, only 5% of your blackjack play counts towards the playthrough, which increases the WR 20 fold.

Other casinos will simply void your bonus and any winnings if you play a single hand of BJ.

There are other softwares than MG. RTG, DGS, Netent, Chartwell, Boss and Playtech all have casinos with decent BJ bonuses. Altough the last four doesnt take US players. And the RTG ones almost exclusively requires two-tier betting which isnt for the risk averse.

On MG you have to check if they have Holdem Bonus etc counting as 50%. MG overall has quite bad bonuses as they have strict restrictions on your betsize.

I was only using MGS as an example.

I can't speak for any of the other casinos besides RTG (USA - Can't play at the others), but I have never seen a RTG BJ bonus that had less than 40-50x+ WR attached to it. If you think that's a good bonus, boy do they have you fooled.

And as far as the strict restrictions on your bet size at MGS casinos, more times than not, I've found that I do better with the $10/hand limit than I would at much higher stakes.

They actually have quite high EV but the risk is equally high as you need two-tier betting. Personally I dont like them as you need a big roll to handle the swings without "losing hope". And you never know when they pay.

Hi Guys,

I am just wondering what your views are on this. I love to play slots (dont really play table games) - and usually I like to have a bonus when I play, but this can bring problems. I see a lot of complaints/issues arising with online casinos, mostly it seems to do with bonuses. The terms and conditions can be very complex sometimes and you get tied to a large amount that you have to gamble sometimes - a bit of a pain in the ass, especially if you win at the start then think damn I wish I didnt have this bonus. On the other hand I (and everyone else I guess!) loves that feeling of being looked after and getting something for nothing etc, its fun to chase bonuses and you feel rewarded as a player by the casino and stuff. I guess its better value for money to play with bonuses as well.

Personally I used to always try and have a bonus when I played, I play at a few different places and it wasnt very often I would play without one although sometimes I would give in to temptation. I had some problems sometimes, I couldnt always understand the terms properly and also one place sent me an email saying I couldnt have ANY more bonuses as I only ever played with one!!! Whats the point in offering me them? On the other hand I was made a VIP at another casino which is my fave and I couldnt keep up with the offers I had. Nowadays I tend to think its too much hassle and just play without them, but I was wondering what you all thought. Personally I dont think I won so much at the one place that it was fair to ban me but then again nor do I think I bet enough to be considered a vip at the other but thats whats happened, really weird.

Sorry for long post, ill try and put a poll up.

We offer different bonuses to different players, and in general this is the way I look at it (for entertainment players):

High Bonuses with High Playthrough
This is generally best if you are the type to play your balance over many times regardless of bonus. In this case a bonus can elongate play time considerably without restricting the player too much (given the player's non-bonus preferences).

Lower Bonus with Lower Restrictions
This tends to be for the player who does some play through, but would like to cash out as quickly as possible if a big win happens. The bonus will elongate your play but not too much, with the advantage of offering less restrictions.

Your money, your call
For players that want 100% control, 0 restrictions. Play as much as you want, withdraw as much as you want. Playtime is reduced though.

I think no one way is better than the other. Just depends on what bonus fits your play style better. In the end, you should be gambling to have fun, so whatever you find fun, should be right for you!

P.S. if you are simply looking for positive EV bonuses then you can find some in both large and lower bonuses. You really need to calculate that individually, but then again, if that is what you are looking for, you are a pro and not an entertainment player.

Kind Regards,
