I like to record my slot play on a windows PC and have been using OBS to do so, but always run into issues as the software seems to be quite finicky. I’ve just seen one to many black screen recordings of a big win to want to continue to rely on this software.

Can anyone recommend a good and reliable piece of software to record slot play?

Thanks for the suggestions. How did I not know that Windows has built in recording software? The question is…is it any good?

I have used (windows + G) exclusively for my recording needs. It works wonderfully. That being said I am not experienced in other softwares so cannot offer up any insight as to which one is superior. I was able to post videos on Casinomeister using the windows software.

Been using Debut Video Capture Software for a few years now and has been doing a good job and very happy with the options and results.

Previously used the AMD Radeon built in recording but needed to find an alternative when I got an Nvidia card.

Try oCam (the easy one) or Shotcut (for experts). They both come for free. An affordable commercial solution could be camtasia. I am using this one very long time now.

.... Shadowplay?

That's Nvidia's built-in recording and imo if you have either an AMD or Nvidia card that supports recording via the gpu, it is always gonna be a much better option than any external software as it will not strain the system.
