Best slots strategy to meet wagering requirement?

I don't normally play slots, but I'd thought I'd give these no deposit bonuses a try (e.g. Lionslots, VegasSky etc.). It seems that most table games are excluded from the WR, which leaves me with just slots (or have I missed something). So, if I have to play slots, what is the best way to play? How many coins, how many lines & which slots etc?

In general, if you play the slots "normally", you'll run out of money, on average.

If you bet big early on, you'll tend to either win big (and then survive the wagering requirement), or, more likely, lose everything quickly. But those big wins might, over the long term, outweigh the losses.

It's not for the faint of heart. I don't really recommend it for anybody.

As you are obviously starting with a pretty small bankroll, you need to start with very small bets. I would start at max lines, but only 1c or 2c/line. Do 50 spins & if you don't get a feature, increase your bets a fraction, and so on. Once you are ahead a reasonable amount ($10 or more) or recovered from being way down, switch to a different slot.
This will make meeting WR with a profit more likely than going large from the start IMHO, but of course it will take quite a long time & much patience!

Most Rival slots can pay big... or be totally crap - so it's hard to say which are best.
I would not play any high-variance slots; Scary Rich 1 & 2, Jacques Pot, or Gobblers Gold.
If I were to recommend any it would be the iSlots; Baby Boomer's & Hole in Won (none of the others), and most of the other video slots except Ocean Treasure & Western Wildness which just seem to be totally crap.

I have succeeded with 3 or 4 of these ND bonuses, turning $10-20 into cash-outs of $80-100!

Good luck!

Thanks for the replies.

As I'm not playing with my own money I like EasyRhino's all-or-nothing suggestion. Then if I get a big win, I'd reduce the stakes and try to grind-out the WR.

KK, If I start low, presumably I'll need to up the stakes once I get ahead in order to build a cushion to overcome the house edge during the life of the WR? Also thanks for the advice on specific slots, but could there not be an argument with such a small bankroll to play the high-variance slots first in the hope of getting lucky? Then switch to the low-variance to meet the WR? Won't the low-variance just grind you down in the long term?

I installed three casino's trying to get this free money (Lion slots is one of them) but at all casino's it states "new promotions are coming soon" when you're trying to claim this promotion. How about that?

Different people will have different advice & play different ways - that's only natural.
I'm not saying going big at the start is a wrong strategy - because I've never tried it!

My personal opinion on the house edge of slots is that it's largely irrelevant due to the variance. Even low variance slots have higher variance than say Blackjack. The main difference is you just need one lucky spin to give you a big return (compared to your bet). The way I play is to start low on low/medium variance slots looking for that lucky win, and then switch slots when I'm ahead.
Yes you're right, very low variance slots will grind you down slowly, but high variance slots can bust you in minutes! Each individual has to decide which way they want to play.

I'm not claiming my methods are the best or will suit everyone, but they suit me & I have made consistent profits playing slots (and using bonuses of course) for the last 4 years, and have just completed 16 consecutive profitable months on the bounce! (Month by month details

It has to be said that a lot of that success was due to Ladbrokes daily slots promos and I would definitely say that anyone in a country allowed at Lads should be getting in there!

Hmmm... that's interesting!
There is definitely something going on a Rival. If I had to guess I would say that they are reacting to MicroGaming pulling out of the USA and reviewing all their bonus offers (upwards) to try to maximise their acquisition of new players from the former land of the free.
Hopefully normal service will be resumed soon!
