Birthday Bonuses

I'm taking the liberty to bump this thread since people still have birthdays, and casinos still gift folks with birthday bonuses, right?

I'd like to hear from folks how things are going with those, are the bonuses still good, or have they gone to heck in a heck basket? :p

What say you?
What is this birthday bonus you speak of?

I think I received something from Ladbrokes this year but other than that, I've had nothing for the last 2 years!

I do receive the odd happy birthday email but contains absolutely nothing, even more annoying than receiving nothing!

ill find out in a couple of weeks time how it goes this year! never really got much in the past - last year i recall the only place that gave me anything without asking was playojo if i remember rightly - recall i was given a reward of free spins a couple days before my birthday - then on my birthday, i was given another 50 spins on bod. As for anywhere else - i think casumo will give you some if you ask i think.. otherwise i dont recall much else. Guess ill see next month how birthday stuff goes!

This year the casinos that gave me a bday bonus was Emu casino , Most of the skillonet casinos although Play Jango I did not have to ask for one they had it in my gifts section but Play Ojo and Lucky Niki gave me one when I asked support , another very generous casino was Drift casino they gave me 40$ with only ten times wagering

My birthday is in 3 weeks from now, although i dont expect anything as from years they are none.

Last year i remember L&L Jan gave me good bonus,Miami Club and Intertops casino too, another few casinos with couple of free spins.

It's easier for attractive ladies to get bonuses but not us ugly, hairy arsed men!:)

I thought BGO had sent me a tenner for mine, but as usual it was just one of their misleading shit promo emails for a match offer. @Mark_BGO your promo email titles are extremely misleading, constantly.

I got the same email as a customer and I completely agree Colin. Will be sorted.

Although it was a 100% offer which probably isnā€™t too shabby for some despite the poor subject line.

well, it would be if it didn't have a max cashout and 65x wagering.
I'm guessing, from the promos BGO have always sent out, they are geared towards the more casual player who might stick Ā£10-20 a week in and play starburst type slots?

Would it not be an advantage to give some bigger bonuses, say 100% up to Ā£100, surely you would still win as 65x and a max cashout of say 50x deposit, is going to be pretty impossible to beat most the time, but you might attract higher staking customers?

Casinos are missing a big opportunity not giving Bd bonuses. When I got them, I felt like a valued customer to the casino I was playing, and I remained loyal. Now there really is no casino particular that wows me or shows that they value me not 1.

It would be good to hear from Team Videoslots and other casino reps to give their 2 cents on why they do not reward their customers once a year on their bd to show appreciation. It's only once a year for f sake. And for the casinos that give bd bonuses but only 5 free spins or something stupid like that, that's more of a kick in the ass than showing the customer you value them.

So far

100 Netbet points, as an idea of value, just looked and you need 159530 points for a Ā£5 bonus with 40x wagering haha
A Happy Birthday email from Monopoly Casino
Ā£5 bonus from 666 casino. I don't deposit there, think they have had one or two months ago. The other WHG sites where I do deposit didn't even send a Happy Birthday email. Guess which one is getting my next deposit.

Novibet most generous, Ā£5 free sportsbet, and 20 starburst spins, no wagering on either.

I have accounts at a lot of casinos, I still fail to see why doing like Monopoly did, and saying Happy Birthday is not done.

I guess birthday-bonuses left the building when the old guard moved on / moved up the ladder from their roles as vip-managers or heads of casino:

When Dan was still at videoslots they always took great care of me - then my "throughput" went down from 1.1 million in 2018 to 250k each in the next two years and that was not even good enough anymore for a small birthday gesture.

Or before that, when i was mostly low-rolling Ben (Nordicbet) always had a birthday-comp for me, even got that amazing food-basket (way cooler than some freechip) from Guts after i followed Ben on his new venture there...

Back then even the sites i only sporadically deposited send a free tenner or so for my birthday without having to ask...

Those days are long gone, this year i logged in to 32red on my birthday after quite some time just to get the most generous gift ever: Finding out that i lost my club-rouge membership and the corresponding nice birthday bonus...

Basically only got nice comps this year from vip-managers of the N1-affiliates-casinos which got most of my play for 2021... A hundred bucks and tow times fifty i think it was... They were also the only ones sending really personal email with their birthday-wishes which was a nice touch.

One thing i cant stress enough - but i may very well be in the minority here - if i have to chose between:

a) an automated birthday-email containing a few freespins / a couple bucks OR

b) a more personal email, not just copy&paste - best case something witty or funny - but comes without those freespins / tiny comp

i take b) in a heartbeat! 100% of the time... :cheerleader:

My advice to all casinos sending out "canned" birthday-emails (most of them even without any kind of offer or gift): If you value your customer not high enough to have someone (a real human being would be a great choice - even a somewhat creative goldfish could do the trick if you teach it how to write an email) spend maybe 5 minutes to type out a few words, then please just do and send nothing at all...!!!

On an unrelated note - as i mentioned (Nordicbet)-Ben Clemens, hope i remembered that name correctly, does anyone know if he is involved with the freshly accredited "casino friday"?

The only site that gave me anything on my birthday last week was novibet with a free Ā£5 bet and 20 spins . No one else gave anything , altho I had a couple of happy birthday mails from sites I don't play at.
