Best and Worst of 2007

Winbig: tought i already said that.
One for us and one for eur, couse otherwise the award will go to a casino that has payout to americans.

But i would also like to have an award to best support personal, not the whole staff, only one person. Maybe this will spurr the support personal also.

And maybe a best/worst advertising campaign, and i dont mean spam, i mean the nicest appealing and worthy one. Everyone can write a spam mail, but to combine nice graphics and text nad make it worthy is harder. This would incldue tv, radio, internet campaign. (since we havent made a any i cannot suggest the company i work for),

Satchmo the man the myth the man who dosetn cash out at Link Removed ( Old/Invalid) for the simple reason he cant.

The right deed for the wrong reason?

With apologies to T.S. Eliot.

I have seen a lot of support for Enzo/3Dice to win many of the Casinomeister awards this year. He has become a very familiar face at this forum, constantly ...and quickly...answering questions and queries posed to him. As well as providing a very informative post on High/Low variance.

I'm sure many newbies out there have seen these compliments and subsequently investigated 3Dice for themselves where, hopefully, they are having a positive playing experience.

However I have to ask....how many of us in this forum have done exactly the same, and been stunned (into submission? :D) by the charms of 3Dice, whereas other casinos, and their support staff, are quietly going about their daily business, keeping their players as happy as 3Dice are. All without CasinoMeister visibility?

Pat Harris and 32Red immediately spring to mind. For the record, I have very little contact with 32Red as I no longer play there, whereas Enzo has personally helped me. But that doesn't mean Pat is any less worthy, just because we see so much less of him posting on CasinoMeister.

So the question is: Are we considering voting for 3Dice because they are highly visible, and a lot of posts in support of their support can't be wrong? I just don't want to see these rewards go to those who shout loudest, so to speak. :) We also have to consider those casinos and their support staff who are doing a brilliant job behind the scenes, and who don't need to post on this forum regularly because very few problems are encountered or generated.

Just my 2 cents worth. The other 2 cents are free.

Off track slighly I know, but am trying to balance those ole scales of justice here...

3Dice has not been on the scene long enough to be voted an award for anything other than possibly best newcomer.

My own experiences with 3Dice have been pretty diabolical with countless deposits and never once a withdrawal, not once so I cant actually for the life of me understand why so many people praise them.

By the same token so many people cant be wrong so credit where credit is due and if 3Dice and Enzo keeps things going the way they have started things going, its quite likely 3Dice will be a casino household name for years.

Being Mr skeptical though, that to me at least is the sort of thing that needs to be proven as i have seen so many flash in the pan casinos come and go over the years that it will take more than 6 months worth of praise and good intentions to convince me that they are anything of true substance.

...Worst PR stunt for 2007 (And forever in my book): JF's "testimonials" about how gambling is a cure for depression, cancer, etc etc etc...
Sorry dude, they received that award last year :D
Best Worst 2008

This year is an easy one.... :D

I agree about the visibility part with 3 dice. Club World reps rarely come in here but I gotta say, They have outstanding customer service. They have personally called me several times (for different reasons) and no other casino has ever done that. I was very impressed when I was going through that "problem" a couple months back and Clubworld didnt call me to say "your wrong" they called to say "tell me more" "im sorry this happened"

When I had w/d issues they called me, when I had deposit issues they called me. They could of emailed me but they wanted to personally call and make sure things were ok. That was from the beginning and to this day.

I might bytch about not having any cashouts in the last 3 months, but that has nothing to do with customer service. I have never been ignored by clubworld and every request and every email has been answered or honored since my sign up with them

That is my 2 cents :)

General question : Is it possible that a "Not Accredit Casino" becomes the
Best Casino of the year?
In my opinion this would be a "contradictio in terminis"

Do you mean a casino that has yet to be accredited? If so, there might not be a contradiction because when Bryan accredits them, there are steps that he follows including meeting with them. If for some reason , not all procedures had been followed thru YET, this does not mean that they do not comply to the strict standards required of them. Without touching on 3Dice for obvious reasons, casino Splendido immediately springs to mind. there have been much praise lavished on them yet they havent been accredited yet.

Sure there are a few casinos that meet the standards of being listed on the accredited section, but have not been listed yet. But it would be tough to give them a "Best Casino" award since many things are taken into account which include being involved with player issues and providing services to both players, webmasters, and to the industry as a whole.

By the way, thanks all for giving me input and ideas for this year's awards. I've been asked a few times about when they will be announced - traditionally, I compile and write everything up during Xmas break and publish this the second week of January.

Stay tuned :D

Casino Splendido has been listed here since they lauched a couple of years ago. They received "Best New Casino" and "Best Named" casino in 2005.

Easy as Virtual's 911 promo:mad:
In my opinion, the award should go to Prime Casino for removing players winnings from their Neteller accounts in a reverse-chargeback sort of way. If you aren't familiar with the events, there is a 16 page discussion at https://www.casinomeister.com/forum...from-neteller.17927/?highlight=prime+neteller . I'd put Virtual Group's 911 promotion #2. One could also make an argument for the Absolute Poker incident, although it doesn't really fit as a "casino trick."

3Dice has got a lot of support - not played there myself and sure its worthy, but I would tend to think of them as a nominee for Best Newcomer. For a Best Casino award I think there needs to be a longer track record myself.

Prime casinos going back fetching players winnings from their Neteller accounts was an instant-classic, also my vote for the Worst casino 2007 incident.

Also, for posting the real names of their affiliates in heavily trafficked casino forums :)

I would like to give my gratitude to Centerbet casino support. They are real refreshment in category of Casino support teams. I really enjoy speaking with them as their approach is more friendly and personal than any other I have had a chance to speak with.

I cant find this part anywhere? Just read the original 16 page thread.
BBKPoker is referring to the thread at https://www.casinomeister.com/forum...rs-beware-aka23.17990/?highlight=beware+aka23 , which was originally titled "Beware of [my full name]" instead of "Beware of aka23". I was also threatened with a ridiculous lawsuit and faced with other issues that I will not list here.

Prime's current sign-up bonus has the highest wagering I have ever seen at a Microgaming casino -- 80xB on slots or 800xB blackjack wagering. I get the impression that Prime has unique beliefs about expecting nearly all players to make a loss on the sign-up, which may partially explain some of their unique decisions over the past year.

Gasp. How could I have missed this thread which is a real eye-opener. You gotta hand it over to the man. Not only players whine, casinos do so too and in real fashion.:lolup:

Most overrated casino by Casinomeister members:

3Dice!!!!

So their awesome graphics, great bonus rounds for slots, well thought out and exclusive slots, great CS, and very fast WD's don't mean a thing? If that's reason for being over-rated, then I wish all casinos were.

The best tasting cereal for 2007 should go to Apple Jacks in my opinion... followed by a close second for Froot Loops. Honourable mentions go to Corn Pops, Honeycomb, and Frankenberry.

I never said...

that 3Dice was a bad casino; it's just that if you read some of the posts around here you'd think that Christ was resurrected and bestowed 3Dice on us all as a holy treasure.

As to the previous post by winbig:

Their graphics are decently good, "awesome" is exactly what I mean by "overrated".

"Great" bonus rounds are your opinion, I think that the two original ones (Squirrel Pike and Medival Mohlah) are below average and a little hokey; the other games use free spins with a multiplier, hardly original.

The slots in themselves are indeed original, since the software is proprietary (for now), "well thought out" is a matter of opinion (in my opinion, average for my tastes), although I will say that MM is a rather fun slot, especially with the multiplying wild suns; Happy Valley, Super Suits, and the King Tut slots are all very b-o-r-i-n-g (in my opinion) unless you get the free spins.

As far as customer service goes, they are friendly and helpful, and their payouts are definitely fast, but in my opinion they are acting as a casino SHOULD act. To sing their praises over these facts just goes to show how crappy most other casinos are.

Also, just wondering, I find their gameplay very, very streaky, almost to the point that it makes me suspect. Anyone else get the same feeling?
