In recent months, I've come to conclude that the following casinos are "my favourites":
Videoslots - Great range of games and payment options. Never any hassle over payouts (although they could probably be processed a little quicker). I like their casino races and cashback. Both are great loyalty schemes - especially given the zero wagering requirement on both.
Slotty Vegas - Have played Betat but prefer this brand because of the "supercharged wins". Their payouts are incredibly quick - almost always within two hours.
In terms of improvements, the only ones I can recommend are:
Videoslots and Slottyvegas tell you when you can have your loyalty bonuses rather than allowing you to take the funds when you want.
It is very difficult to pick between them but for me, I think Videoslots just has the edge.
In contrast, I've recently closed my GUTS account.
The lack of a loyalty scheme is a big issue for me. I spent a lot of money on the site then realised i'd had no bonus offers, in the end i found myself regularly asking customer services for one. To be fair, they were very obliging and i got a couple of reasonable wins off them - usually (always) were a 1x wagering requirement.
But I don't think a customer should have to ask.
The straw which broke the camels back for me was:
When i signed up, I was using a debit card for deposits, I decided to open a Neteller account and started using that. Their rules were that they would pay winnings to my card until they'd "refunded" as much as i'd deposited on this method. This was inconvenient because it took a few days to reach me rather than minutes.
However, I lived with it - although it was applied inconsistently (sometimes they'd pay Neteller anyway, others they'd just refuse and make me withdraw to my card).
Then, when there was about £40 remaining of the withdrawal due to my card I requested a £92.50 withdrawal to Neteller. They emailed and said "nope, got to withdraw £x to your card". I got onto chat and said that was fine BUT they would then charge me twice for withdrawals.
The response - "nothing we can do".
I don't know any other casino which charges for normal withdrawals but In this competitive market that just pissed me off so i closed the account.
It is a shame as they have good potential but I figure that if that's the attitude their staff have then i'd rather my money went elsewhere - where they appreciate that customer retention is based on loyalty and going the extra mile.
Being fair, their other customer service staff have always been decent but it only takes a niggling issue or two and one frankly rude member of customer services to damage a perception of a company.
