I too was issued a bad check, which came back to me as ACCOUNT CLOSED. The US government is not directly involved in this particular situation. It is a problem with the processor. My check was issued through King Neptune's Casino. They have responded with apologies for the problem and assurances that the situation has been corrected. They also advised me that the check had been reissued, however, they have not responded to the bank charges the problem generated. At this point in time, I have not lost my cool with them because I feel I have received reasonable response to an out-of-the-ordinary problem. Processing charges and withdrawals for Americans is not simple to accomodate. The only specific complaint that I have is that I know the casino was aware of the problem twelve days before I was advised by the bank. I would not have suffered the charges to my account if the casino had warned me what had happened. So I want the bank charges addressed and must assume that they will be, judging by their behavior so far. No point is getting in a high state of "pisstivity" until I have to..there is always time for that when it happens.
Processing American banking is not going to get easier until the government comes to the most logical and beneficial conclusion. GET ABOARD! Stop stepping over millions to save pennies! Stop wasting time and resources creating yet another elite regulatory department (society) of government that will become another permanent debt! THINK COST! Dumb asses...
I keep in mind that this industry is not yet properly regulated and they get away with a lot of cheating, lieing and foundational capital requirements-it is the nature of the beast, so to speak. Great efforts and genuine progress has been made in this arena. Unfortunately, considering the saturation level of online gambling, their are more that prefer to be hoods of the moment, rather than build an everlasting respectable industry. They should work toward the day that this industry will have to compete in an internationally accepted fashion. The writing is on the wall...
