Belgium - no bonus starting April 2020? Can you help if this is true guys?

Anyone who could enlighten me about this? I mean like an article or something that I can hold on to about bonus in Belgium?

Can't seem to find any law that states bonuses are no longer allowed to be fair.

Would only increase popularity of unregulated gambling. Look at Sweden where it is beginning to have a really opposite effect.

I can't really know where to find actually but this helps too. I mean do the operators take down the bonuses already in Belgium? Do you know if there are any who are still offering it?

So seems the problem is related to the original law "internet gokken via internet and gsm" from 1999. In that law bonuses were already prohibited, so basically they apply it now. Strange.

I think this list will start growing massively as people from Belgium will for sure lookout for available bonuses:

There is no change in law, the law is from 1999 so that means the regulator has been lacking in applying the law for the past years? Interesting

That being said, I'm not really fussed over it. I rarely took a bonus because I like to cash out my winnings when it happens instead of having to wager. Most casino's only gave a bonus on signing up and afterwards when you were losing to entice you into losing even more. I've had more than once that I had reached my weekly limit at a casino to see an email with a deposit bonus popping up minutes after logging out.

The only bonuses I always took were the no deposit ones or free spins (like everyone I guess ).
