Lol....it's all down to the weird Belgian gaming laws where depictions of games of chance must be repesented by dice. So EGT, or any other developer cannot use branding or trademarked depictions or themes on games. So imagine Bonanza with various coloured dice to represent the gems and royals, gold dice to represent scatters (no G-O-L-D would be permitted) and a flaming die for the wild. No miner's hut or other artwork, just a plain background. Same goes for every slot. Imagine The Rapist with just dice. I don't think you can even have music or soundtracks, just a single tone when reels stop, and sound of spinning simulation beforehand. So AFAIK on Bonanza you would lose the frantic banjo player.

There are different licenses tho. You have the regular casino ones and the equivalent to what would be an "arcade" in the UK ones. The latter can only offer dice slots. Sites like Napoleon Games have both because dice slots are a popular breed here. And the dice slots aren't as dire as you make them out to be

I wouldn't play GameArt for the life of me but it does look like a regular slot. A real dice slot would be Starliner by Novomatic, which is very popular both in the casino and online.
