Karolina: Is not a spam is a message that this promo is running from time to time that is called special promotion.

Nicole: I will be submitting this to casinomeister and you will likely lose your accredited status

Nicole: ok then if I deposit $150 will I get the 500 bonus credited to my account

Nicole: I did and there is no information about that deposit $150 and get $500

Karolina: I'm afraid not today as this promotion is not valid for this weekend.

Karolina: What happened when you clicked More information?

Nicole: it only took me to the weekend promotions, not the deposit $150 get $500 bonus offer

Karolina: Yes and that is what we offer this weekend.

Nicole: like I said show me on that page

    Karolina: Your welcome

I wouldn't call it false advertising, does sound like a snafu though. Here's what I'm seeing (see below). The 'More Information' link doesn't take you anywhere useful, nothing said about CWC500 at the You must register/login in order to see the link. page.

I'll flag the rep, see if they can clarify this for us.

    Nah

Altough this promo is on their promo page and looks like a regular offer you actually cannot redeem this coupon unless you have an email invitation from them.

This entire group has such kind of "promotions" which are "offered" but cannot be redeemed without an invitation.

Yes, their bonusoffers are 'subject to status' as they call it.
My status must be extremely low, as the only offer I can redeem is a 35% NON-cashable bonus with a 20x deposit+bonus WR attached to it.
So I play without bonus or somewhere else.

The support rep is LYING. The code IS VALID, but only for certain players. The CS should be honest and say so, rather than pretend the code does not exist with arguments that simply cannot be reconciled with what is displayed.

"status" means whether you are ahead or not. My status went from VIP to "scumbag" in the blink of an eye. The ONLY thing that happend is that I won BIGTIME on the Reel Series slots from an UNBONUSED deposit, withdrew, and when I had received the installments, I had become "scumbag", only eligible for the 35% slots bonus.

The casino can deny as much as it likes it is down to me winning that I am barred from the promos, but this is the THIRD time, and EACH was after a big win. It seems after a while, they try to entice some barred players back again, which is how I had this three times.

If CS had been honest in this case, this would have never made it to the forum, except perhaps as a "bitch & moan" about being barred simply for winning.

CWC500 was a regular promotion that I used to play before getting barred, and would arrive by email from "Lauren" when running, which was usually over the weekend. Sometimes, it came with an EXTRA $500 if players were able to complete the WR on CWC500 from the $150 deposit and $500 bonus - quite a challenge! It was a slots only coupon.

In this case, it may just not be running THIS weekend, so the coupon would not be on the system at all because the promotions department had not added it, thus the error message.

Showing these on the website has been defended by the casino as necessary so that players can check the terms and conditions if they are invited. Clearly, this has gone wrong, as there is no information available the coupon appears as though it can be taken at any time, and has no rules.

This is not the first time Club World has run into problems with the way they advertise their promotions, but they had to be dragged kicking and screaming just to place a disclaimer on the main page that codes are "invite only", and are presented to players via email and the casino lobby.

All it seems to be doing is alienating players who think that a code is valid, and for no logical reason they are not allowed to use it, and CS try to convince them the code simply does not exist, rather than tell them it is because they are barred by "management decision". CW probably wants these barred players to have a few goes with the 35% coupon to win back some of the money they have paid out, but this won't happen whilst such players are not only barred, but treated by CS as though they comitted a CRIME by winning.

I'm disgusted to see this from CWC and totally amazed at your patience! :notworthy
How you kept calm while that "Karolina" was feeding you all that horse-droppings is beyond me! :eek2:

This IS false advertising and something I would like to see stamped out at ALL casinos.

I have never played there and after reading this I never will!

The promotions are supposed to lure players in. They seem to want to run players off by being idiots.

    Special Promotions

    Hi all,

The special promotions page provides information on the special offers that we run from time to time in the casino. They are not invitation only, although you will receive a notification by email when they are scheduled in.

The first line on the page is: You wont want to miss our special events, so keep your eyes peeled for details of when they are running! As such the 'more information link' takes you to the promotions calendar where you can see which events are coming up in the next few days.

    Kind Regards
    Tom

Unbelievable and totally unacceptable. Someone posted about their observations that there seems to be so much more negative posting even about accredited and well known casinos.... obviously, it seems to be true as demonstrated by Clubworld.

I get clubworld emails and promos all the time and though i haven't played at their casinos recently, this will certainly cause all of "Lauren's" emails to go directly to the junk mail folder.

Yeah... i would love to be suckered into a store by a big sale sign with "ask for details inside" written on the bottom. Go inside, ask for details........
......the details are....... there is no sale! Gotcha!! Sucker!! Now... would you like to buy something else while you're here, sucker?

I can't wait to see what the repercussions of this are since rogue casinos are often guillty of the exact same kind of things. Hope Clubworld does the right thing, though the above post leads me to think the opposite.

This is untrue. I am not often lucky, but I love to play slots. I did get lucky at CWC and made a cashin that took a full 4 weeks to be paid and was then virtually "banned" from further promotions. With several friends that played there as well, on several occasions they were each able to claim a promotion code during the exact same minute I was not able to.

    Please explain that.

Thats weird, live support told me something completely different, the promo's on the website were all 'subject to status', and I was not allowed to redeem the junebug codes back then.
They could not give me a reason, guess because I cashed out on my welcome bonus, but what else could I do?
Mystic Dragon threw 3 lines of dragons in free spins, I could not push them back up!!

Too many casino's are suffering from a bonus-abuser syndrome.
They see bonus abusers everywhere, while in fact these people are just temporarely winners.
Instead of waiting for the moment these winners turn into losers, something that will always happen, you chase them away with a bonus-ban.

I'm afraid I'll never understand how anyone could possibly abuse a non-cashable slots only bonus anyway.

But I don't want to derail the thread, sorry.

3 times you threaten them with posting on Casinomeister unless they do what you want.

Maybe it is because I've played there and know how their promotions work but I don't see how it is confusing, it is listed under special promotions and says to not miss it when they are running, nothing about being available all the time.

And yes, they are stupid in not offering bonuses to anyone that is ahead, they will never get their money back from me now since I got lucky with the CW500 about a year ago.

I come here to check casino accreditation/rogue status, and if it's not accredited (even just not recommended), I won't play there. Even though Club World hasn't been rogued, in light of this story (until it is satisfactorily resolved), I won't be depositing there, period.

Just for the record, I have never cashed out a red cent from CW, but given them plenty of my money... I wonder just how much you would have to deposit and lose to become actually eligible for this bonus...:eek2:
