While I do agree that participants should be members before the contest start date, I don't agree that people should have to have a large number of posts.

First and foremost, CM is an affiliate site. We don't know who may have joined what sites through CM. Not everyone is comfortable posting in English. Perhaps they read regularly and try new casinos. These people contribute to the financial success of CM, without which we would not all be here.

Hope this contest that brought some not very active members out of the woodwork will become more regular posters.

To be honest, I'm not crazy for the new variable bet format. I play free tourneys at another site, and basically everyone bets max or you have no chance. I enjoy the playtime the battles give me, I don't want it reduced by having to bet the max allowed.

Just catching up with the happenings since yesterday afternoon.

Well done and congratulations to the winners.

Also some good comments on how future battles should look like.

Quite interesting discussion about the ability of setting the bet level. I didn't realise that it was also possible to set the bet lines which makes the potential win amount even greater if you're lucky enough to hit that line / bonus round / feature.

I can see how this perhaps should be restricted but then again, I can also see those that play that strategy having umpteen losing spins and ending bottom of the pile more often than not (well they should theoretically).

Some good food for thought for the Videoslots and Casinomeister team for sure.

Fun battle....and of course there would be complaints....I completely disagree with limiting the participants based on posts or anything other than being a member here.

There are 30,000 members on here....and maybe just 500(probably even less)active ones who participate daily weekly.....we didn't even get to 200 registrants(I think) yesterday with the battle.....I think if you limit it to participants with said amount of posts it will be the same people participating over and over and same people winning over and over...sorry...

...and then if newbies would would like to participate in future battles but have no posts....would they start posting just for posting.....and would we have the forum filled with silliness....as fun as that sounds....I don't want to be navigating thru useless posts....

As for betting strategies the winner used....again....slots are all random...right?...it could have went the other way for the winner using that strategy...he just happened to be lucky...high rollers, low rollers....is there really a betting strategy to win at slots. Anyone?

...I came in 20th or 21st...and still had fun....thanks cm and vs and Dan.....I am a loyal fan.

I used to see you all the time in the freerolls and BOTS Tourneys before last month (4 week self exclusion).

Blazer here, we've had some nice chats.

Definitely agree about holding it more often, like say the end of every month; would be fun for sure.

@distrance. The qualifying deposit is what most of us deposit quite frequently in a month so it makes most sense for us. A 20Euro deposit is not much to ask for and if it is just do not participate. Pretty simple.

Well a thank you from me to Casinomeister and Videoslots for the battle opportunity. Unfortunatley ran poor in this one but congrats to the winners and agreed that the final winning score was sick

As for a few negative posts I've seen the battle was open to all CM members and all contributed to it via the minimum deposit throughout the alloted time on VS. There has to be more plus points than negative for sure on a promotional level as rightly so active players on VS would have seen this battle and become intreauged and curious, therefore searching the web for how this could have been possible for them too. Password was not given out too early so again limited opportunity for CM registration before it commenced if any?

I would like to see more of these as they are rewarding for active members and it's not hard to offer up bigger and better more rewarding battles dependent on seniority and activeness at CM as seperate battles. This way players/members remain active and get rewarded and are then encouraged to become more active should they wish as the incentive would be there.
