Anyone else played this game? As a big roguelite fan (100%'d binding of isaac rebirth) and also an experienced gambler I realised It would be right up my street. Not sure why it took me so long to get it considering the above but I did and its amazing and VERY addicting. I wonder if GAMBAN will work on it .

For anyone not familiar with it, its a video poker based roguelite game. Where you have to score enough points to beat each "blind". Each "ante" has a small blind, a big blind and a "boss" blind. Helping you do this are jokers which have tons of different abilities, consumable tarot, planet and spectral cards.

I hope it wins Game of the Year and its bloody impressive that one guy did all of this, think hes up for 5 or 6 (including players choice) game awards!

I haven't played it myself yet but know a lot of people who have, and it's a great game. I really hope it wins some big awards because it deserves to!

The indie space is great right now, too much of the self-titled "AAA" industry (or if you are ubisoft, the mythical "AAAA" industry ) seem to have missed that simple concepts executed well are much more interesting than sprawling blockbusters focusing on "good graphics" and forgetting things like content or gameplay.

Only have to look at Concord with an estimated $200m budget, and the game was dead on arrival because it was piss-poor in every dimension.
