Hey guys,

What do you think.
Backed Leicester this weekend for €20.00 to win the Premiership.
Should have done it a few months ago,I know. :D

Now best odds are around 8/1 or 9/1 but with a 20 quid bet still a handsome profit.
So go go Leicester!! :p

I do not do a lot of sports betting simply because I suck at it.
I love sports, follow a lot of sports like football, darts, cycling, ice skating, olympic games, tennis etc etc but I never was good in predicting outcomes of sports games.
So I keep it on the odd bet here and there.

Fancied putting some money on these guys as I also have Vardy and Mahrez in my fantasy football team. :D

Still in with a shout!!

I would have thought that if things would have started to go pear shaped we would have seen the start of the slide by now.

They've had some cracking results and beaten some of the 'big boys' too, together with a comfortable home win against Stoke this weekend gone and Stoke are no mugs!

When they had that amazing run at the end of last season to survive, I thought to myself that 'these guys will do well next season' nice to see I was right but no way did I imagine that it would be this well!

I really do think that you're in with a shout on this one and wish you all the best with the bet, what would be extra nice is for them to do it to make a nice change from one of the 'Usual Suspects'

Good Luck!

I have been blown away with Leicesters run this season, they are doing something amazing right now.

However, if I was a punter I would be laying them around now on Betfair. I can't see how they can go all the way. I wish them all the luck in the world, it would be great to see them take it.

I fancy Man City to put a run together over the next few months and take it this year.

Being from Leicester its funny to see people talking about us in football terms now :D, its an absolute mircale that they are still maintaining their position, especially after they spent the entire previous season fighting relegation, i just wonder what the odds were before the first game this season for them to win it :)

Happy for my uncle who is a die hard fan and has gone to literally every game for the last x number of years so its nice that they are actually winning games for a change :)

Would love to see them do it but think they will lose out in the end to one of the bigger teams. But looks good for top 4 and champions league next season which would make it a great year for them.

One good thing is their nearest rivals all still have European games and cup games left whereas Leicester only have league to focus on.

Next 3 games against Liverpool, Man City and Arsenal will show if they can look to be champions. Take a few points from those games with the easier selection of games to follow and they will have a great chance.

I heard that the odds of Leicester winning it were 1000 to 1 before the season started!

I'm not from Leicester, but live fairly close so go to a few home games with my partner. She's not from Leicester either, but has certainly become a Leicester fan!

I don't really think they'll do it either, but it would have been nice to have had a few £ on at 1000/1. I wonder if anyone has?

5000/1

I once saw on sky sport 5 odds that one of them was 5000/1 but cant remember was it for LCFC to win, Vardy being the top scorer or combination of both. I really doubt it was a combo given LCFC were on the brink of relegation, were it not for their last-half-of-the-season surge!
But one thing am sure of is that there is that 1 die hard LCFC fan who placed at least €1 ....LUCKY HIM!

There was another article today in a Dutch sports newspaper where a Leicester fan was betting 20 quid every year on the team to win the league.
Last year he moved to New York and due to the moving he completely forgot to stake the 20 quid.
This means he possible misses out on a 100.000 win this year.:eek:

Have to wait another day at least...
GO GO Chelsea... :D:D

Was hoping Leicester would seal the deal today but 1-1 away in Manchester is a fair result.

Just Spurs not to win tomorrow please!

The store manager of the Loughborough branch of Betfred, an Arsenal supporter, wrote "pigs might fly" on a betting slip when a Leicester fan put a £1 on his side to win the Premier League title

Pigs didn't fly but the foxes certainly did! Well done Leicester it's great for the game! Truly inspirational. :)

That and Selby winning the snooker, it's a great feeling for Leicester residents! Now if only I could wind back 24 hours and get another bank holiday, I'd get well and truly wankered.
