B&M Casino Stories

One of my favorites is IGT's Carnival of Mystery -- 243 'ways'. There's is another... Aztec Temple... Never ever won a penny off the Aztec one (no matter the casino). Carnival though.... it's a favorite and has saved my butt from going broke before dinner time (due to playing VP... pfffft!) many times.

OMG Mousey, these have been two of my favorites for the last year. I went tonight and my friend won over $200 on Aztec...of course I lost but I have won over $1000 by starting at .50 and getting up to 1.25 per spin.

Haven't heard of treasure of troy, is it out yet?

Not sure but URL Not Found / Outdated a pic and a link to the IGT page on it. Looks like a blast. That white Orchid does too:thumbsup:

Dammit! Now I want to go gambling... must not phone casino... must not look at promo mail... must fight the urge...

When not playing VP I love the penny machines. A few of the old single line 3 reelers get some of my money, but for fun... you just can't beat the penny machines!

'specially when you can throw 1,024 pennies at a whack:D

But that's part of the fun of pennys. Especially if they're multidenom (2 cents, nickel, etc.) I start with minimum bet, increase my bet gradually if I'm winning. If I lose back down to my starting amount (usually $20) I go back to minimum bet (all lines) and start over. If, however, I lose $10 without ever getting over my $20 stake, I cash out and move on...

And there's the Mousey's penny strategy. :) Just a money management thang... ;)

My husband

does that too mousy! He's not a gambler but likes to fit in with the crowd so he finds penny slots and does the same exact thing. The only thing that embarrasses me is he gets so excited when he wins $30 (snicker), people look over thinking he won a JP and it's just $30!!

A nice comeback story...

I went to the Borgata in AC earlier this week...I was down ~$600, and had $50 left. I stuck it all on one hand of BJ. The dealer dealt me a 13. Nice. :p Hit to 21, and went from there.

I ended up getting back up to $500, decided to cut my losses, and left. :D

Also,

Has anyone seen the 100 LINE slots? These are quite interesting. They have 5 reels, 4 of which are 4 lines and the middle reel only has 3 lines. Unfortunately, I don't remember the name of the slot. Does this ring a bell for anyone? ;)

Bombay has 100 lines, I freaking LOVE that slot and when they first came out with them at my local indian casino we could win a few hundred bucks just from a few spins, cos the bonus spins would pay out but in the past few months I cant win!!! bombay, wild orchid, and troy, are the slots I have a love/hate relationship with!! and dont get me started on zeus and brazillian beauty!!! hahaha

I just got back from my local B&M. I had a great night! You guys gotta try the Wolf Run. OMG I am sooo addicted to it. I cashed out $500 twice on the same machine tonight. Along with some smaller wins. I forgot totally about checking out the 100 line slots you have mentioned. I may go back tomorrow and scout them out. I'll let ya know how it goes.

Just read my own last post...good night that was. I am on my way out to the casino this afternoon. I like Saturday afternoon because there are no crowds and I can usually have my pick of any machine. I am looking forward to playing a little VP and the Wolf Run. I am going to look for Troy, Wild Orchid and Bombay I would like to try them. I will report back!

I second that Mousey!!! V, please let us know if you find any of the newer multi-way machines... I dream about the things... I'm itching and aching to play... less than a month and a half til playtime:thumbsup:

Great stories guys! Up here in wine country we have a few indian places as well. Haven't won much at any of them yet, but fun still the same.

Not to hijack the thread, but I've always wondered why the big time online suppliers (MG, RTG, etc) haven't made a deal with the B/M casinos to carry some of these great online games? If they did, I would only play at the B/M places. Now that would be the best of both worlds. The online games we love, and actual customer service and actual immediate payouts. We need a lobbying effort for these games!!

Thanks for all the good vibes you sent my way. Yes I had another successful time on Wolf Run. I cashed out $750! Ya gotta love that. I start playing at 1.20 and keep upping the bet but pretty much stayed at $2.00. That is usually way over what I would normally bet on any slot (VP excluded) but I swear this one pays sooo much better than any B&M game I have ever played. There is a row of 10 machines and when the casino is busy there is a line behind the players itching to get on them. I have even waited 1/2 an hour or so myself. So worth the wait. I was dissapointed not to see the 100 line games. I waundered around , next time I will ask a host. I bet they have them in Vegas lojo, that's where you are going right? Babs look at
URL Not Found / Outdated to see what it looks like, and I hope all of you can find it and give it a try. Just talking about it makes me want to go back right now!!!!

Good for you, Venetian!

Seeing that Wolf Run reminded me of a penny slot I play in Tunica -- when I can find it. Wolf Moon (I think that's it). It has an expanding wild. And scatters -- 3 kokopeli and you get free spins. Not sure, but I think they can retrigger. Seems like it's 40 lines. Give me 3 rows of expanding wilds or a lot of free spins and I'm ready to howl along with the wolf. :D

oooooo... Makes my Max Bet finger itch.

Does that have the same wolf symbol as wolf run (looks like raindance wolf) Mousey? I've got a screenie or movie of it somewhere:confused: on my other pc, will look for it this evening.

My next trip is Reno in a few weeks, then depending on how I do, Vegas between t-day and x-mas. Rio packages are looking good, but I really want to spend a few days at Mainstreet station. That's the wonderful thing!!! You can go a couple of times a year and never play the town out (if you're a pauper like me:))

Congrats Venetian:thumbsup:

It's called Coyote Moon. URL Not Found / Outdated
That is where I got hooked on all those, as you call them, expanding wilds. This Wolf Run I think is the newest version of Coyote Moon, which is also hard to get on at my local casino. It is fun but there is no comparison on the entertainment value (fireworks go off when you get certain hits) and payouts.

Thanks Venetian. It is indeed, Coyote Moon.

That'll teach me to post before I've finished my morning coffee. ;)

Yes the coyote in Coyote Moon and the wolf in Wolf run look the same as the Raindance wolf. It is all the same theme of the howling wolf/coyote. The poor coyote looks a little thin which is the only difference to me. They all howl which haunts me cause when you hear it ya know you are a winner...of something.
