Avoid MoneyLineWallet

I know nothing about Skype.

For those with funds sitting there, I would take a screenshot of the balance in case you can't log in at some point. Just thought about this now...

Yes, I have taken screenshots and have saved every e-mail and chat. I backed everything up on a thumb drive and CD. Tomorrow it will be a month and I can honestly say I am getting fed up with this whole situation. I am trying to be patient while I am waiting to hear from the lawyer. I will let everyone know what they said when I find out.

I'm not saying I don't believe you. I am saying I'm going to need more information to verify all your claims and give them a chance to explain. In my view; innocence is presumed until proven otherwise. Whether it is a player or an e wallet. I cannot base decisions on anonymous complains based solely on the written accusations of two individuals on this thread.

If you wish to cooperate, I can ensure better experiences for our customers. But I'm going to need evidence, and to hear their story. It is due process, and everyone deserves that.

Same here this was back in July and it wasn't at your casino either so I stand to gain nothing to prove what a fraud MLW is with your casino. I washed my hands of them awhile back and don't care to have any more to do with them. I guess you will have to learn the hard way yourself when you lose customers who get screwed over by MLW or your company gets screwed over by them as well in the end. Don't you research these processors you do business with beforehand to assure your customers won't get shafted? I understand your side in this you need ways for us to get money on and off but this seems to be a common practice for them to submit multiple ACH's for the same amount. They call it bank software error. I call it fraud.

I also believe this company is operating out of NY. When they called to verify my account. The area code that showed up on my caller id was 202

I'm afraid I'm not in a position to provide an official answer here. I do have my skype listed in my account and you are welcome to contact me there, if you have any personal communications you wish to engage in.

.... and the disclosure by another operator on a different forum that EWX had told THEM they had their funds frozen, and could do little to restore service.

EWX have not just simply "pulled out of the market", else they would return the monies to their customers, and tell them they have pulled out of the market.

No-one really needs to comment, everybody knows that something VERY bad has happend, and that this is FAR WORSE than mere "technical difficulties".

As for obeying the rules, what about UIGEA, the casino is certainly NOT obeying THIS rule, because it is not CONVENIENT for them to obey it since they would make no money.

Someone has one HELL of a hold over the operators over this. Why keep a confidence for someone when THEY have broken the rules, and only want things kept secret so that the news can be buried.

Whilst none of this is the casino's fault, they WILL get some of the blame, especially from players who had EWX promoted to them by a casino, and trusted that this meant it was approved by them.

Whatever the techical issues, EWX can STILL WRITE CHECKS can't they, this just needs a pen & check book. This would be an easy way to exit the market. The ONLY thing that would stop them writing checks (other than the simultaneous loss of all their hands), is a lack of available funds to back the checks.

If this REALLY turns out to be nothing more than "technical issues", I will be gobsmacked:eek2:

This is what I don't understand. They must also have a monetary stake in this.

One things for sure. Everyone in the know is covering up something.

I don't think they can write checks if their accounts have been seized. When I was looking into all my withdrawals that were in limbo, one casino group wouldn't comment on the whole situation, 1 casino told me they were just as much in the dark as I was. 1 casino told me they never got the email stating they were seized and pulling out of the market.

So far the only thing I have read on many forums was the Aff. Rep from Mainstreet group saying that they were seized. This is the only person that has said anything. After that, he has not said anything since.

It would just make my day if someone could post the so called letter from EWX that they sent out to their merchants. But so far no one has, and it was 1 site that had posted part of the letter and all the other sites are just copying that post.

On 1 site they list all the financial officers, CEO's and Owner. I searched Bing, Google, MSN and Yahoo on these names and came up with pretty much nothing. I even searched the Toronto newpapers and TV news sites and nothing came up. There has to be something "big" going on because even the Canadian players cant get their money or deposit. So it seems that everything with EWX is frozen.

Why everything is so hush hush is beyond me. It was not this quiet when they seized Neteller.

When you do a search on MLW pages come up with compaints. Why casinos are still using this is really nothing more than greed. Of course, that is my personal opinion.

The Club World group use to have E-check as an option, but they do not have that anymore. Some casinos still use that option, but not to many.

At this point, online gaming looks pretty grim the American player. Deposit options are very slim, and the ones that are available are costly. Withdrawal options are there, but most of these wallets except for QT, have a long waiting period. MLW is one of them, it takes 15 days to be able withdraw, and it can't be bigger then your first deposit. Bunch of BS if you ask me.

Just my opinion, but you never know what is going to happen next.

That's the point, if they are telling the truth, this would NOT stop them manually writing checks. CANADIAN players' funds have NEVER been subject to UIGEA, so there is no basis in law for their seizure.

Mainstreet rep posted about this, and then went quiet. Maybe they had considerable pressure applied to them to "shut the hell up or else......", which is why they cannot comment any more.

I can't see what "rules" are in place to bury the truth other than pressure being exerted.

Maybe operators have been told "breathe a word of this in public, and you will NEVER see your money again". EWX CS reps are probably being told "toe the line, or lose your job".

Neteller WERE using the "technical problems" excuse at first. There was more fuss because far more players from the USA had money there. Neteller claimed that they had withdrawn from the US market VOLUNTARILY, and invited US players to submit requests for their funds (or use them for non-gambling purchases). They were able to bury the truth for several weeks until it became clear that NOT ONE US account holder appeared to be at the front of the queue. The truth really came out some months later, when Neteller was trying to "cut a deal" with the DoJ for the return of the ex company execs, and the eventual orderly return of funds to US players. This deal also involved a "ransom" payment to the DoJ.

Perhaps EWX are keeping quiet because they think the DoJ has no concrete evidence that the funds they have frozen have anything to do with EWX, and that unless they can prove a link, they will have to let them go eventually.
ANY admission that their funds are frozen will mean the DoJ can say "we got the right account then".

Unless the DoJ are stupid, they have figured this out already by seeing the results on the various forums.

When EWX "cut a deal", the funds will probably be returned to players, but possibly NOT to casinos. This could take a long time. Neteller took over a year before the process of returning funds even BEGAN, and it took a further year for MOST funds to be returned. Some funds were never reunited with their owner.

It would be my guess, that anyone who has money sitting in their EWX account can kiss it good bye. Perhaps persons with small amounts may see their money (if this goes like NeTeller did) in a year or so. But anyone with large amounts are likely to not see anything at all. It's now the game of wait and see, and wait, and wait...

Ok, I am going to run contrary to the statements made here by several people.

Really the only thing I want to say is while I am not a customer of BetPhoenix, I find that Nicholas being willing to continue to post and respond AND his willingess to take phone calls and do skype with people who have concerns is very, very refreshing!!!!

Most of the time our requests for information or help fall on deaf ears, or nothing happens.

Nicholas (who I don't know and have no idea even what an affiliate manager does) seems genuinely willing to help. He was under no obligation to jump in here and offer to intercede.

You have legitimate reasons to be concerned about the ewallet problem the OP brought up ----- but give Nicholas at least minimal courtesy and credit for being willing to help.

It doesn't happen that often here.

Diane

@bowlingbob:

Even though your poor experience with MLW was not at Betphoenix, Nicolas has kindly offered to help with your issue. Sometimes casinos have more pull than individuals with the wallets.

Also, if they are not a good option, I'm sure BetPhoenix doesn't want to be promoting MLW to their players, so in the interests of helping other players I suggest you take him up on his offer to investigage.
