Atlantic Interbet

i want to thank AIB for honoring the promotion to me it was a struggle but they corrected it for me thank you wish i didnt have to write 100 e-mails tho

Gramsey consider yourself lucky. AIB is a crooked site, run by a selfish Pig named Mark, and they take over a month to pay their winners. They can take their bonus sign up money and that bullshit daily drawing and shove it right up their butts!!!!

To Brian Bailey:

Brian many people at Atlantic Interbet are not being paid. They are in desperate need of your help. I wrote the following letter to their support department...but I am sure it will mean nothing.

To Whom It May Concern:

I have been playing in AIB for approximately 6 weeks. During this time, I have noticed that many players are complaining about not being paid for their winnings, duplicate charges being made to their accounts or money being removed from their debit cards without authorization. I must say this is a terrible way to run a business.
It is because of this that I have chosen NOT to deposit any more money or play at this site simply because it does not seem to be on the up and up.

I personally think that AIB is waiting to see how Congress votes regarding the online gambling Bill. Should this bill be passed, then the people who are owed money will be screwed.

I know that the "pit bosses" have to say whatever the higher ups tell them to say. Therefore, everyone is told it is a "processor" problem!!!!! What a crock!!! Then again we cant expect them to say "sorry but you are suckers for playing here and you are not getting paid"!

Disgusted ex-AIB player

There have been many posts that question the fairness of the machines at AIB. I would very much like to see AIB become certified by SafeBet. Safebet (
You do not have permission to view link Log in or register now.
) is an independent non-profit that audits the random numbers and logs to ensure fairness.

Whether you like AIB or not, I encourage everyone (especially AIB members) to push for SafeBet certification ASAP. The players win by having added peace of mind, and the casino wins by having increased loyalty and the end to complaints about tight machines or unfair play.

Drop a line to info@atlanticinterbet.com and let them know.

I'd like to know who runs SAFEBET, and why I should trust them. I was on the Safebet website a few weeks ago, and noticed very little explanation of how they audit the RNG and how they test the logs. Also, how does a player truly know how independent Safebet is?

I have been playing at AIB for about two months now. I have not won anything at all and have lost thousands of dollars. They use their own ATM money processing system and you used to be able to deposit up to $500 a day. Today I went in and found out that they cut the deposit maximum to $125 per day. I asked the pit boss why this was done and was told "I dont know...they started this new policy today". Stunned by this inadequate answer, I waited until this evening when a more "experienced" Pit boss would be working. I again asked why the daily maximum was cut and she informed me that it was done for the "newbies" that play there and that "established players like myself will have the maximum raised within the next few days". I asked if this was a definite truth and was told "well dont quote me...but maybe it will happen". What kind of answers are these???? What kind of site is this??? Was this done so that I, as well as other high limit players, cannot have a chance at getting some of the thousands of dollars they have lost???

I would love to hear from someone at AIB who has a direct answer to these questions, rather than a fairy tale. I challenge anyone from AIB to come to this forum and answer these questions.

By the way, one last question. When do you pay your winners? There are many of them running to "gambling grumbles" in search of help.

I would recommend that every gambler be very cautious with AIB.

Here is another second thought about playing at AIB. I'hv armed an official complaint against them, and I want you to hear about that.
The facts: I was playing roulette in AIB.
I don't remember the date, but it was game 1999062820:45179153534 17. When the wheel spined I was suddenly disconnected, due to some tech. error, but not before I saw the Ball Landing on 28. Here is the Statement, as copied from AIB site, file 611:
1999062820:45179153534 SYS Login AVIV $ 0.00
1999062820:45179153534 ATM Transfer E-Cash + $ 178.00
1999062820:45179153534 Roulette 17Start Bankroll $ 178.00
(I only copy the lines concerning no. 28):
1999062820:45179153534 Roulette 17STRAIGHT 28 - 1.00$ 164.00
1999062820:45179153534 Roulette 17SPLIT 28-31 - 1.00$ 121.00
1999062820:45179153534 Roulette 17SPLIT 28-29 - 1.00$ 110.00
1999062820:45179153534 Roulette 17Ball Lands On: 28
1999062820:47179154789 SYS Login AVIV $ 0.00
As you can see, I'hv never loged off. I was disconnected. When I loged in the next time, I found that my account was not credited with my $70 winnigs. 2 splits and one straight makes $70 -not too much to ask!
I worte to them over and over again, and they ignored all my emails, or sent me an irrelvant answer, like: the ball has not lended on 28 in game 16, while my inquiry is about game 17!
I truly hope AIB will pay me after reading this complaint, because otherwise I would strongly recommend every web gambler not to play with AIB.
It's a shame,they could be a very good casino.
Thanks
Aviv

Dear Ms. TheBabe,

Please allow us to explain Atlantic Interbets new policies regarding initial deposit limits and the reason for the changes that have occurred recently.

In the past several weeks, after some in-depth research, some alarming statistics have come to our attention. We have discovered that over 90% of the players whose initial deposits exceeded $200 have subsequently charged them back against their credit cards.

We have also discovered that the vast majority of initial deposits are $100 or less. A pattern has developed that has become blatantly apparent and changes had to be made to prevent this pattern from continuing. While the exposure to violators is common in the online gaming industry, we must do our best to limit those who are simply looking for a loophole to capitalize on instead of winning money legitimately with fair game play.

We decided to take decisive action and limit our exposure by firstly limiting the initial deposits by new players until a comfortable history has been established with them. Once a full credit card statement cycle has passed with out incident of charge-back, you and our other loyal customers are welcome to visit www.atlanticinterbet.com and provide the necessary required information to increase your deposit limits.

After having explained the details which compelled us to implement these necessary adjustments, we hope you agree that these changes were in no way intended to limit the chances of our loyal customers or to decrease their odds of winning their money back.

Certainly, an online casinos greatest publicity occurs when people win. We want our loyal customers to win and to tell their friends where they won!

Lastly, in response to your inquiry regarding when we pay our winners, the answer is Always. There have been complaints of timeliness however and we are working diligently to improve our payout policies and procedures to make our thousands of winners happier. We originally outsourced payouts during our first year of operation but have recently taken that task in house. We have admittedly experienced some growing pains these last couple of months but can assure you that every winner has been paid. We will continue to work hard to earn your loyalty and we know that the only way to achieve that is by being fair and responsive to your needs. As we strive to improve, please accept our apologies when we fall short and give us the opportunity to respond to your concerns.

We thank you for your patronage and look forward to serving you in the future.

The Atlantic Interbet Staff

Atlantic Interbet Staff:

While I can certainly understand your concerns regarding charge backs that people make on their credit cards, I, however, do not fall into this category. My first month at AIB I charged approximately $1,000 and have already paid my Credit Card bill (this was the month of June). In July, I charged over $1,000. I have received my credit card bill for July and have already paid my bill. I gambled, lost the money fair and square and am responsible for this loss. Therefore, I would like to know why honest people, such as myself should be penalized because of dishonorable patrons that gamble at your site?

I would like to think that I am considered an honest player and credible in your eyes.

I appreciate your response posted above, as it helped me to understand what is going on.

TRUTH IN ADVERTISING Sounds plain and simple, doesnt it, but I guess either it isnt or some dont believe in being truthful in their advertisement. Take this advertisement for instance:

WOOHOO! Wait until you see the NEW twist on our $1000 drawing......IF the person who's name is drawn is NOT online, we'll be drawing another name in about 30 minutes for a chance to win $500, if that player is not online, we'll draw ANOTHER name in 15 min for $250, if not online another name is drawn in 15 min for $125, if not online, another drawing in 15 min for $50 PLAY TO WIN !!!!! This was copied and pasted from the announcement, that shows when you first come into Atlantic Interbet, late evening September 3, 2000.

What exactly does the person whos name is drawn mean? According to Websters New World Dictionary, person is defined as a human being, especially as distinguished from a thing or lower animal; individual man, woman, or child."

Well people, we may have aliases, but I believe that the above definition of a person, is exactly what a person is. Simple, isnt it? I guess not since AIB goes by double standards. They have their own definition of person.

AIB lies to and neglects regular, loyal players. When it ran a matching fund
promotion, there were "technical problems," and we regular players had to resort to
taking an additional alias in order to get matching funds. They developed a $100 sign-on bonus that was offered to new players, which we never offered nor received when we first came on. Some of us have been playing under two different aliases. Last night, a friend's other alias was called as a winner in the drawing. She had been online playing most of the day and night. Since the name called was her other alias, she was not awarded the $125.

It really doesn't matter which alias was on, since the announcement referred to
"person." When I tried to discuss this with an AIB pit, I was told several times to stay
out of it. Well folks, when a friend is being shafted, I WILL NOT keep my mouth shut.
Needless to say, the announcement has now been changed to "alias" rather than
"person," which is how it should have been all along. Again, AIB does not believe in
Truth in Advertising, but what can we expect when we have continuously been lied to by them.

Speaking of the drawing, I wonder why it is that some of the pits announce the winner is not online the same time they announce the winner. Could it be that they want to be sure that the person is not online, before they announce the name? Yes some are online, but the greatest percentage are not online and there sure are a lot of names that no one has ever seen or heard of, except some that I know of at the freebie site. Seems awfully suspicious to me.

Another example is the bonus that the regular loyal old timers were promised. Well guess what, we still havent seen it, even though promised many months ago. And to think that I once stood up for this lying, deceiving place. Well folks I have now seen the light and will let some other poor sucker pour thousands of dollars into a corrupt deceiving establishment.

And what about the prize structure? It has been lowered again. Why? Because AOL is having
problems. Give me a break. My opinion is that AOL has probably gotten wise to this place and decided not to have anything to do with them. What about the rest of us that have a different ISP? Don't we count for anything? NOPE. All we count for is giving our money to this lying, deceiving establishment.

And the matching. I seem to remember after the last fiasco that we were promised another day for matching. Again, nothing but lies.

Newbies, watch out. They love you now, but as soon as you become a regular, you will no longer be considered important in their eyes, since all they care about is recruiting newbies. You will be lied to and deceived just as we old-timers were.

Well its been a real experience dealing with this lying, deceiving establishment but alas I have had it with their lying and deceiving so Im gone. I will miss the good friends I have made; however, several of us plan to find another place to meet and play together again.

Good luck all

iBmamabear,

Although I have never played at this particular casino, I have read the entire thread... it has been most interesting.

I was wondering if they had ever come through with the bonus that an Interbet employee PROMISED ON THIS BOARD for the loyal players - it's really sad that they never did.

Casinos need to recognize and reward their loyal customers. Recruit all the newbies you want, but your loyal customers are your bread and butter.

Good luck, and thanks for the update.

Erin

Since I slammed AiB, the honorable thing to do would be to provide an update regarding my complaints.

I have been advised that AiB has honored their miswording of the advertisement. That is a start.

On the AOL situation, I was advised that prizes have to be based on the number of people playing. I can understand that, since they are a business; however, if it happens again, I would suggest that instead of saying prizes decreased due to some isp having problems, which isn't fair to the rest of us that don't have that isp, they should just say not enough playing at this point in time. I'm not sure if prizes have gone back up since AOL problems have cleared up as I haven't been back in and I had cancelled my daily email announcements of the tournament schedule.

I was also advised that they are trying to work up a matching system that will work and that will reward loyal players, as well as being advised that they are still working on the program that will give the players a bonus that will be retroactive based on the amount that has been bet since day 1.

I guess time will tell on these promises. I haven't decided if I will go back yet. I have been busy trying out other casinos and had deleted AiB from my computer. This is a decision I will have to think long and hard on.

If they will straighten up their act and keep their promises and honor their words in their advertisements as well as do some enticements for their loyal old timers and not just concentrate on newbies, this would be a nice place to play.

ibMamabear,

Thank you for the update. I know that I will continue to check to see if they follow through with their promises, so please keep in touch!

This casino was the best on the internet, but it has come to my attention that they don't tread thier patrons with respect. I have played there for over a year and my playing habbit alone would have warrented an investigation. My account was hacked and all my money was played and all they tell me is I played it from my computer, but my computer was offline and I wasn't home when this happened. I was hacked and I'm a network administrator and know its possible to make it look like it was played from a place it didn't come from. I have tried many attempts to explain this and all they say is we are sorry. WELL SORRY doesn't CUT IT OR REPLACE THE MONEY THAT WAS STOLEN FROM MY ACCOUNT. This money was stolen from and and all they can say is sorry. Well that is totally unacceptable, and I advise all players to AVIOD PLAY THERE. I know of other player that this has happened to also and again all they can say is WE ARE SORRY.

With regard to AIB's statement on why tournament prizes were lowered.... Seems to me that I have played in tournaments where there were over 30 people playing. Funny but the prizes were never consistently RAISED in those tournaments. A 25 free spin prize (or two or three) were added to the end of the prize list. I would think that the top of the prize list should be increased since it is harder to win when more people are playing. 25 free spins. $6.25. Oh Boy. That's a real prize when you are playing Keno, or Table games. Everything seems to be a double standard. They always use the excuse that best fits THEIR needs. And the lies. Constant lies. Yes, they tried to blame their cheapness on AOL. Whatever. Why not just tell the truth to begin with???

ATLANTICINTERBET CASINO HAS A HACKER. Well they still haven't replace the money that was taken from my account and I now do believe that my account was hacked from inside thier own orginization. All I get is it was done from my system and we are sorry.... Well sorry doesn't count for the more than $500.00 that was taken from my account. As they can see from my priot playing habbits(history), they would see that this wasn't played by me. So I will continue to ask them were my money is. DON'T PUT AN MONEY IN THIS CASINO, THERE IS A HACKING PROBLEM THERE. AOL has stopped all use from thier ISP to this caisno and that was my ISP... so again be very leary of this caniso now.

BEWARE OF ATLANTIC INTERBET.

1) They don't keep thier promises.
2) Dave Roffman gave out a player's confidential stats right here on Casinomeister without the player's permission.
3) I am highly suspicious that the games there are rigged. I played over 4000 hands of blackjack at Atlantic Interbet, and the losing streak was constant and ongoing with no let up.
I evealuated my results with a spreadsheet, and the empiracle SD was so far off from the theoretical results it was scary.
4) Mike From Oz, who is constantly posting at the Gamemasteronline forum, did a statistical evaluation of more than 100,000 plays of thier deuces wild video poker. He believes the game is not fair. He doesn't wish to comment on whether the game was deliberately rigged, or whether it was a programming error.

STAY AWAY - STAY AWAY - STAY AWAY
Delete Atlantic Interbet from your computer and never go back. I posted a message similar to this one a year ago, and many of the users who ignored me are now very sorry.

Hi All,

As a courtesy, I forward most of these messages to AIB so that can have a chance to respond. So far, silence. I am continually puzzled why a business won't jump to the chance to defend themselves. But maybe I shouldn't be so puzzled.

What gives?

Bryan

***** BEWARE OF ATLANTIC INTERBET *****
1. THEY DON'T DEFEND THIER PATRONS
2. THEY HAVE A HACKER WORKING IN THE INSIDE
3. IF YOU HAVE A COMPLAINT THEY WILL ONLY SAY THEY ARE SORRY
4. DON'T PUT ANY LARGE AMOUNTS ON TO THE CASINO TO HAVE SOMEONE HACK IT AWAY.
5. YOU CAN'T ACCESS THEM THOUGH THE AOL ISP THEY HAVE BEEN BLOCKED. FOR REASON RELATED TO THINGS LIKE THIS. JUST DON'T PLAY THERE, STAY AWAY.

Regarding Flybyenite, our records clearly show that the play in question was indeed performed on his computer that he's been playing on all along, which would indicate that either someone else was using his computer, or he is just plain ole' tryin to scam... records DO indicate that the same account was accessed from another computer in July, but not when he claims his funds were "stolen".

That is a total LIE, my records clearly show that I wasn't even in the casino on the day they say I played this money...I have played from more than 5 computers and more than 4 places, so this information is incorret also. I have nothing to gain from lying about this. SO THIS IS NO SCAM..

******* ALL I CAN SAY IS BEWARE AND STAY AWAYS FROM THIS CASINO, BEWARE THERE IS A HACKER IN THE HOUSE, AND IT MAY BE COMING FROM WITHIN.*****

The casino alone could tell be my playing habbitS that this wasn't my play. Why would I lie about it, all I want is for them to put the money back into my account so that I may play it out.

The statement that I'm trying to Scam Atlantic InterBet is totally wrong. All I want is my money back into my account so I may play it. Here is even an option, I will not remove any money from Altantic Interbet and only play the money. This shouldn't be too hard since I have spent well over this amount there. In on day alone I played well over $3000.00 so this would be easy for you to get back from me. But I know your sorry and nothing can be done. I have e-mailed Altantic Interbet 4 times now and heard nothing. So I guess its TRUE THEY DON'T GIVE A DAMN ABOUT THIER PATRONS. If this was a SCAM i'd be trying to get you to send me my freaking money not put it back into my account so I can just lose it to you. I think your orginization needs a make over if you don't see that.

<,<,...I have played from more than 5 computers and more than 4 places

FlyByNight,

Sounds to me like you've got nobody to blame but yourself. It doesnt appear hacking was involved, just carelessness on your part to install casino software on 5 different machines (im assuming your friends) in 4 different places (can you be at 4 places at once?) Obviously somebody from one of those 4 places used your account and played.

I am not defending AIB nor condoning them in this post, just stating an obvious observation.

No that point was to prove that they told me that I had only played from this machine and one other, but I'd played from other sources and they were totally deleted and hardrives scatched, so your point is well taken but with the precautions I took, this is not possible.
