At what point do I get irritated with Bovada Payout Delay?

I'm trying to figure out if I'm just being impatient or if I should be irritated.

I req'd and was app'd for a payout via wire on Jan 9. At that time, the time frame given was average of 15 business days- but it said I would be given an updated time frame when the payout was processed. On Jan 12, I received an email saying that the payout was completed by the processor and that I would be receiving it within an average of 5 (FIVE) business days with a descriptor of "XXXXXX." After the 5 business days passed, still no $$$. I contacted customer service many times only to be told that the "5 business days" info was given in error and that I had to wait the "15 business days." When I called on Jan 20- I was told I would have it during the course of the next week. When I called on Jan 26- they asked for bank statements, which were sent and accepted. After sending the info requested, I was told the payout was definitely sent, and that I should have it by Wednesday (yesterday, 2/1). Still no $$$.

please note: I was able to contact a Bovada Rep in some other areas and yesterday afternoon I was contacted by a Senior Quality Rep. She was very nice and put some bonus $$ in my account, but she said she didn't know where my wire was, nor did she know why I didn't receive it. (FYI- she said the bonus $$$ was due to the mis-information I had been given over the past few weeks.) She said that she was going to look into it, and she assured me that I would eventually get my $$$.

Anyway- I'm just irritated. It's a bank wire. It's takes minutes to process. I just don't understand the delay and I don't understand why it's SO difficult for them to tell me what's going on.

Thanks for listening!!!

Since it was yesterday afternoon when the rep called you, perhaps you should give her a chance to look into it? I understand your frustrations, but being in the US, processing payments for some casinos seems to be difficult (there are numerous threads attesting to this). It was nice they gave you a freebie for the inconvenience they have caused you, some of the casinos would just keep giving you excuse after excuse until you got your money, or simply ignored you altogether.

If you don't hear back from them in a day or two try contacting the rep here and see if she can help out.

:) I totally agree with you! I really just needed to vent, and possibly give others a heads up. Posting here helps keep me patient!

Thanks for the reply!

When Bodog became bovada, I became a non fan. I played a couple deposits, then dumped it, figuring that they were only in the US market to scalp what was left.

Dont worry, its gonna be vendetta time when regulation is finally in place and the US economy improves. By then every casino will want a share of the action and many casinos will rue the day they mistreated American players.

This change from BODOG to BOVADA took place recently. Was there an incident that happened for you to make this statement? No accusations, just curious because I continue to play there
Thanks

Or....

I think any casino currently in the US market already has a head start. Take something like 3Dice. Look at them on the front page there- You can see a live update of withdrawals even! They're already in the States. They've already got a name.

But. There is another issue. There is already a Casino industry in the US that very much so wants a piece of that online pie. The American Market must be worth hundreds of millions, if not billions of dollars of potential profit. They're going to want to make it hard for the current casinos to make any more of a foothold in the US.

What I'm looking forward to is a viable US-based Licensing jurisdiction. There are a lot of things that I feel just won't 'Fly' for such a licensing agency. I think we all know the sort of thing that I'm talking about.

Payouts, of course! With a regulated US market a certain amount of player protection would have to be set in stone. I wouldn't be surprised if a US-Regulated market had a requirement for cashouts. We, as players, well. You. As US players have to remember to make a stink about that sort of thing.

Remember: They want your money. If they don't think they'll get it, they'll offer you something better. ;)

He lost. What more reason do you need for libel?

I think you'd better go look up the word "libel". First of all, I am not liable for any libel. Frankly their gaming went downhill months before this move to a new company, about when they changed their front page and their software interface. It was decent to me prior to that. Why so defensive, mate?

Day 29. Still no $$$ and no update. Apparently they are waiting to hear back from the payout department- this is since LAST WEDNESDAY. Seriously- how long does it take to figure out where my $$$ is??!!!

I agree, they are responding, which is a good sign and a lot of casinos are having problems with bank transfer right now.

As far as what the US requirements will be when online, the ones that are in place will work just fine. Online casinos will be required to have a physical presence and will be able to integrate those systems quite easily. US citizens have to provide photo ID, social security no. or equivalent and, depending upon the amount, pay tax at time of payout. The main changes will be mandatory tax for non-US citizens at time of payout.
