Article on RTG

bernynhel: Some of those posts contributed to forming my personal opinions on every topic I perused in this forum and now, it turns out, that I had no way of knowing what perspective had actually inspired those posts.
Excellent post bernynhel. I am one of those that believed everything I read on this forum when I first joined, not knowing the difference between an actual poster and one that had an interest in keeping it down low (any grumbles) with pap and platitudes to keep it from escalating to any form of information to other players.

I found that after a time ( a long time) once I started really reading some of these replies, i could pick them out (affiliates) pretty easy...they were the ones that said the same thing a casino would, bad run, you must be mistaken, PROVE it...etc..

Thank you for once again pointing out the unbalanced understanding of posters..I was one of them that believed for a long time..

Only after realizing just who is saying what, as I have but it took a while to figure it out. bernynhel hit the nail on the head. Newbies will have no clue unless they know who is speaking. I agree, anyone with a casino conection should be pointed out either in their signature or somewhere. I did not know for the longest time what those colors meant when Bryan implemented them and who has time to pop in and out to see who is what color??

look, im totally happy being here, and really dig/respect this site, as without it my knowledge and /or my capability to protect myself and my money, would be considerably less, i do feel the need to say, in response to some of the latter posts, that casinomeister itself is also an affiliate right?
so i feel it would be nice to see some form of "identification" on that particular point.
it would certainly help identifying an opinion being possibly biased or not.
one good thing for instance that CM himself, and i believe maxD too, is that they have limited rep power, (they have compensations naturally) and wouldnt it be fair to give casino reps and major affiliates the same limits?
just throwing up a ball, but that would in my eyes be fair to all the "players" that are the main target, to be informed and or directed in certain ways.
newbies are the ones that are specifically amendable, hence the ones that should be able to see where advice is coming from imho.
for all the vet's and long time members, affiliates and rep's this is of lesser importance.
just my opinion.
please dont take any of it wrongly
cheers

I wouldn't want to see the board start to split into groups when at the moment it generally works well but nonetheless I can see the logic and I'll discuss the idea with Bryan and Max.

Of course, that is a given. He has made a safe place for everyone and he should be made whole by giving all of us this place to share information. When I say whole, I mean compensated. It is not cheap and it is very time consuming to create a place like this. He deserves to be paid in any form he chooses.

I have no issue at all with this. I try to join from this location any casino that comes along that is recommended to repay my dues to him for using this forum.

You are an innocent, aren't you? It already has groups....and has for a long time just as any public place does.

Maybe i badly phrased what i meant, which was that i wouldn't want to encourage a them and us mentality. I'd rather see the two groups come closer together and players could help educate (for want of a better word) affiliates while affiliates could share useful info they are privvy to with players. Idealistic I know, but anything that helps all groups work more closely together and learn from each other has benefits for everyone.

RTG I have my doubts

Hi guys, I have my doubts about RTG, as I shall relate a short story to you.

I came into some money, and thought it would be fun to throw some caution to the wind, and do a little slots.. I choose 3 RTG places (on the CM list here)
but of the 3 i played at slots plus to the tune of about 7500.00.

I was betting on slots (real slots ceasers etc) I would say $5 $10 and $20 (mainly 5 and 10)
and won what felt like very little. When I did win it was on a deposit bonus
(i deposited 1500 that time) and was informed by online chat what my play thru was, that I would have to win basically 154000.00 to satisfy my requirements as I am not a US or Canadian.

Incidentally it was only playing on bonus money that i doubled or quadrupled my deposit, it never happened on normal deposit money. And of course to meet the bonus requirements the several thousand dollars once reached just faded away. Even when I was lucky enough to get the feature, on a 20.00 bet (you would think lucky me) I seem to remember winning 200 or so dollars.. not very much.

And that was the pattern, it never changed, I was always hopping that it was a aberration
But no. I may of well have just given the money directly to them, and bugger playing.

As there seemed no point, as there never seemed a chance to win. You would think that on that type
Of money and the number of bets that a little run would happen but no. Now this is this weeks experience. I can say that in the past 10 weeks where I haven’t been betting quite as high, its been no better.

My conclusion and this is just my conclusion, they have done something. I cant prove it but I just know. (the one time I did query the finance dept. they did say that my winnings were as low as 70 percent )
Let me apologize and say I am not as eloquent as some in here so I really hope my msg Came across in a clear concise manner.
