In the past two years, I lost $96 at Microgaming casinos on a turnover of $980000.

 I am so doing something very wrong.

I bet you are not playing single deck blackjack.

Nope, lol. I'm a slots girl only. I haven't even tried Video Poker yet, I chickened out on that one.

Video poker is one of the most profitable games in any casino (this is a well advertised fact). Of course it does depend on the paytable and if you play "perfect play" (ie. that you hold the proper cards which yield the highest estimated value - there are simulators you can use to practice this with and different games will have different 'perfect play' stratagies).
MG casino's make that part easy since the auto-hold feature.
I am heavy on Dbl and Dbl Dbl Bonus Poker with some occassionaly Dbl Joker and Jokers Wild. You have to have a fat bankroll and be willing to sometimes be down a lot before your up in order to profit. Also, you need very strict money management; play at different times to find the hot 'cycles' and, most of all, when you've reached your cash-in point - leave!
As an example - I may lose $3,000 before I start doing well and ending up cashing out anywhere's from $5,000 to $10,000. Pushing it works but of course you have to be sensible. I think the casino profits more if you don't push it, lose $3,000, then leave for a long while. Overall, with my methods, I cash out quite often and quite high amounts.
Don't get me wrong though - I do have terrible runs where I lose quite a bit. At such times I just take a week off and sneak in with a light deposit to sample the VP's "temperature". I can usually recover my losses over time.

Low Roller

Casinos- Up
Poker- Up

The only reason i am up on casinos is due to bonuses otherwise i am positive i would be down (playing slots/vp).

Poker- well up, but the grind has gotten to me last few months. (also, bonuses play into this also, but not nearly as much as on casinos).

Like Grandmaster nearly all my wagering is done on singledeck BJ.

At one Crypto casino I have gambled £3,800,000 in the last 8 months.

My expectation from these bets, taking into account comp points, is a loss of £760.

During this period I have received in excess of £8000 in bonuses from this casino. Go figure!

If I had been playing slots I would have been in the hole for £100K.

Started playing poker 6 months ago. Still learning but not doing too bad, nearly qualified for a seat at the WPT in Reno last night just missed. Made $1200 on the night so it eased the pain!

In the words of the King... Way dooooooooooown :D

My style of play means that some months I'll be stupidly up, but some months stupidly down as a consequence. Some casino's I'm up at too, and then some (actually - the one's I play at most often, which makes perfect sense) I'm down.

I don't advise that anyone look at their overall Cashcheck figures for a casino they haunt frequently... Aye Carumba!!!!! I did that once at a very well loved and respected favourite casino of mine, and figured out where my Aston Martin DB9 went :D

It's all good fun.

I agree. I did that a few times and fell out of my chair. Of course, you have to consider that when you have big wins your probably re-depositing them so the overall deposit numbers can look quite high.

Up 1007.41 within 1.25% of projection (nonmultiple of $5 thanks to littlewoods ridiculously awful USD/Pounds exchange rate.. never again.)

More interestingly- 10.3 cents per hand...

but who's counting.

I'm doing ok not as good as I want

I started playing at Starluck 2 years ago and i'm up so far since I started 300 but at Planetluck im up 2000 And Bingo i'm near even.
But we can all say we have good days & Bad days
And Poker it's so so but ok

Mainly slots- I play max bet, generally $37.50-$45 a spin. Usually by the end of the month (and I've been playing online for years,) I get up and profit a few thousand, but last month (and now this month) I haven't won sh*t! I guess they don't like me anymore  ha

Man, thats some high stakes play. You must have comp points by the zillion.

Do you play at land based casinos also? You would be a semi-whale if you do.

(I would love to play $50 slots once. I would be so fired up it would be funny:eek2: )

HaHa it does get me wired sometimes  Can't beat the rush, lol. I do get comped pretty well usually, heck if I didn't I'd find a place that does! ;)Yes I do play land based as well but I don't have the time to go a lot because of work, etc. Guess that's the beauty of online heehee  I'll be slowing down a bit with my play until the machines warm up again for me LOL

I've been up at Casinos, mainly due to their monthly bonuses. If I hadnt been so greedy occasionally, I'd be twice as up - but that's the way it goes for all of us gamblers, I guess...

Regarding poker, I've been winning and losing... I think I can play well enough, but the fish surrounding the small stake tables I prefer (6-seat $1-$2 Fixed Limit, for instance) usually chase me to the river - where my 3 of a kind usually gets b usted... I think I'll start entering more STT's and MTT's to see how it goes...
