Welcome news release from Trident Group / King Neptune's....a well funded and established group which has apparently taken over the formerly ailing and inefficient VegasUSA. Note also the new casino launch of Trident Lounge:

Trident E-Group Takes Over VegasUSA Casino

    December 11, 2002 - Curacao

Trident Entertainment Group completed a rapid takeover of VegasUSA Casino (You must register/login in order to see the link.) this past Friday.

Both the Flash and download casinos reopened for play this morning.

"With VegasUSA's somewhat checkered history, industry insiders are delighted with this Trident takeover and envisage great things for VegasUSA under the new management," said Trident E-Group spokesperson Scott Gaines

Trident E-Group is known for its unrivaled commitment to quality, which is showcased in its flagship casino, King Neptune's and its newly launched venture, Trident Lounge. King Neptune's has been touted as the premier online gaming destination for good reason. This December, King Neptune's became one of the first ever casinos to capture the three top spots in the prestigious Gambling.com polls. King Neptune's won first place honors in the Best Online Casino, Most Honest Online Casino and Top Site categories. Trident casinos are famed for their high-quality Microgaming software, wide variety of games, fast and secure payouts and unparalleled commitment to customer service.

"The incoming management team boasts years of industry experience and has our full confidence and support," said Microgaming Executive David Black.

Gaines said the group is excited to offer the gaming public another top-notch Trident Casino.

"We firmly believe our experience and dedication will help VegasUSA achieve its true potential," he said.

Over the coming months, the VegasUSA web site will be revamped to bring it up to Trident standards of excellence. All improvements are expected to be complete by the beginning of 2003.

Trident Lounge Casino is impressive in the way it is so well organised. I will be even more so if I am paid promptly. Thanks Jetset for the info.

Vegasusa seems to have already taken a turn for the better, with responsive CS who have accommodated my problem of not being able to deposit into Firepay anymore (non-US resident) by making an exception in my case as pertains a promo offer so that I am not penalised. I always thought the old Vegasusa the most honest, until they began going downhill.

VegasUSA has a lot of reputation recovery to do after Alan Fletcher's "management" but if anyone can do it, it is the management folks at Trident.

New Time visitor still green asks members the following question. Is anyone aware of the site - www. pokerroom.com? I am a long time player in real and now wish to enter for the first time online real money play via my Credit Card.

The site itself offers Texas Hold'em only and just that. I have played " play " money having found the software clean and stable. The only setback is a warning at times claiming - slow connection. - This it seems leads to many players being " disconnected " and having to return to the site./

I thank all in advance for both your time and input.
