Hi been lurking a while here and reading a number of posts about MG casinos. Just wondering if they are worth playing ? Have played in the past at Ladbrokes and 32red with no problems but that was well over 6 months ago. Tried another MG or 2 few weeks ago , won zilch and didnt even get a run for my money, only staked a few 100 on vid poker etc but got nothing.

What in your view if any are the best MG casinos apart from the 2 I mention here ? Was looking at GoWild but also been reading some iffy stuff about them.

First post here btw

hi, well my mrs played red32 the other day & lost alot she maid 3 deposits the other month for around 300 quid & didnt get any run at all , the other day she spent about 3,200 pounds in red32 best she got up to was 1,115 not even a run ,slots were bad roulette not good & well the cards were more than disapointing she mainly played on cards ,but she reckons the cards are well fixed she had no run at all ,maybe shes got a good point , luckly for her she had already had a win at another casino not (mg) ,so there you go up to you wether you play at mgs . try different casinos , red has a good rep though but even ive played there last year & i can vouch for what shes saying , i wouldnt reccomend any micro gaming sites .

Hi Mrjones, thats what I thought. Used to enjoy MG software especially video poker, but am loath to risk anything at the moment on MG Casinos.
Shame really as games were good. Will have to find a new casino / software to waste my hard earned with ;)

Welcome to the forum!

I honestly don't understand why you would look for new MG casinos to try when you are already a member at the best two. All MG casinos are exactly the same - you wont get 'fairer games' at any other ones IMHO.

Ladbrokes have been literally throwing money at players for over a year; their slots promo's are so +EV, only a complete idiot could fail to profit off them. So if it's just extra cash you're after, stick with them!

I would definitely NOT touch Go Wild at the moment - why risk an MG who have got a very dodgy reputation in their first few months online when there are dozens of well-established reputable ones to chose from?
Check out the CasinoMeister's accredited list - they're all good in there!

Good luck!

I have played at Jackpot Factory for a while now, I just went to live chat to be re-assured if I decide to deposit.

I might make a small one to "test the waters" so to speak. I haven't made a deposit in several weeks and I am starting to miss the reels.

Here is what the JF rep said in chat.

Welcome to www.firstwebcasino.co.uk, Jake will be right with you.
Jake
Hello and welcome to Jackpot Factory's Live Chat. How may we be of assistance to you today?
catrina
I havent played in a while because of the US situation, are US players still being paid?
Jake
Here is the statement from our casino management:
Jake
Kindly note U.S. regulations are requiring a change in the policy of Jackpot Factory Casinos. The Jackpot Factory has decided that, from Monday the 10th of November, 2008, we will not be able to accept any new accounts from the United States and the United States will no longer appear as a possible country in the registration process.
US players will still be able to download the casino software and existing US players will be able to continue their play at our casino, with the one exception that they will no longer be able to participate in progressive play.
Additionally US players from the Excluded states will remain excluded from playing at the casino.
There will be no change at all in playing for existing US players. You will be able to continue depositing; playing and existing players will also be able to make withdrawals from your Jackpot Factory casino accounts. Promotions and bonuses will continue, as previously and as such you will not feel any difference in your casino experience.
catrina
An existing player will find it to be buisness as usual except for progressives?
Jake
Yes of course
catrina
Thank You
Jake
Its been a pleasure to assist you. Thank you for using our LiveHelp service and remember that we are here 24/7 for your convenience. Additionally we at the Jackpot Factory Support Center would like to wish you and yours Happy Holidays and a very Merry Christmas. Goodbye.

G'day mate:

I have to say, at this period time,it is not wise to play at any MG casinos, esp MG pulls out of US markets. I have been a very loyal MG patron. And what I got this year is a big hole, from April till now, I lost about 60K+. It is very normal I will not win any thing for 20 - 30 deposites. So I entirely quit from MG casinos. Now I play at RTG and frequently I could win some. I did not win becasue I played too much but I only lost 20% of money I will usually lost in MG every month.

PS. It is very common that after you win some good money, the very next time you played, you will experience dry spells. However, the only difference between MG and RTG is that MG software will remember you for your entire life until you lost all back + some nice extra, but on RTG, you have chances to be forgiven. You may continue winning 3 - 4 sessions, that is how I experienced at inet.

Cheers

I dont see anything wrong with MG download casinos but my advice would be not to touch the flash casino especially the table games. I have never ever got a run for my money at the flash MG casinos and I have played in more than 15 of them. Whether it's BJ, Baccarat or Paigow Poker, you will be lucky to win 2 on the trot.

I think this is yet another thread that goes to show that more and more people are seeing a change at mg over the past year .to be honest though the previous threads on this subject seem to get ridiculed as its that job of an affiliate not to tell bad things. I had a acct for 4 years at 32red but only in the past id say 6-8 months theres been a extremely noticeable change for the worse. Its quite sad on another thread about this in which lots can c a change the input from this site was to thank 32reds input. Even though questions put forward several times by vinylweatherman were ignored. Only the deluded here will say theres no change when its blatant there is .

Well, MGs is noting but a business, it need to "protect" its clients.

And us,the players do have choices. PlayTech,RTG,Rival etc.

Rather than keep popping up new threads about how bad/worse MG games' payout, let the nature address the issue.

Yup, good post Norse...I agree

I've played at MG casinos for a number of years now and definately noticed a difference in how they are playing.

I, like most of us, have won and lost. However, the difference these days (with MG at least) is the run you don't get for your money if you're on a bad streak. In days gone by if I have lost playing at MG, I have at least had a run for my money - but that doesn't seem to happen anymore.

I deposited 200 a few weeks ago (new casino), played on Avalon only - had over 600 spins without any sight of a Free Spin bonus, then after depositing again, finally getting FS bonus, I didn't get another one for 350 spins. That sort of win ratio (or should that be lose ratio lol) just never happened in years gone by.

quite right

Id never really paid much attention as norseman to all the posts in the other threads but i guess your right how can you be an affiliate and speak out against them ..you cant so they dont ..it would be in my opinion extremely interesting to hear what max, simmo or brian etc felt about the growing number of players who see these differences at Mg casinos...and of course you have to take into account "shills" who will come on here and tell you no its not changed its your imagination i won see theres a pic...or the site rep telling you Oh dont be silly were "REGULATED" and on the LONDON STOCK EXCHANGE hmmmm Robert maxwell had several companies on there see what he was upto...lol ...my personal feeling is sites like 32red are hiding behind the reputation for having excellent customer service which is true but that masks or should i say is masking a lot..the loss of US business will surely have crippled microgaming hence the noticeable change in my opinion so us in europe are bening bled dry quicker than ever before in the hope well keep donating. wonder whos gonna be first to tell us MGs are brill..time to bring on the "shills":lolup:

To shed some light on the other side of the coin...I'm an affiliate and most of the casino's I promote are MG. The last couple of months I've been wiped clean at a couple of MG casinos.

Though I have heard people commenting on few forums that the bonus slots are tight. The free spins for example; even when re-triggers are hit, are paying zip. One guy got 4 re-triggers on $2.25 a bet (75 spins total) and made no more than $150 bucks or so.

Say what you like about that but from my experiences even getting one set of re-trigger spins meant you'd get a damn side more than $150 total. Let alone hitting them 4 times.

Just my 2 cents worth.

Cheers

we see all these posts about mg casinos getting tighter not paying as much ect,but they state they cant change the payout % , so why are they getting tighter? are they lying about not being able to change the payout% ,are all the players saying there tighter wrong, and they are as loose as they have always been ? someone needs to look into this ,

I've already burned myself out talking about how MG casinos have changed especially since mid-June and a brief period in April of this year. But one more time. Let's make some assumptions:

1. MG promises casinos a certain percentage of bets or wagers made. Slots are set at a certain percentage of payout. Blackjack games payout depends on the rules of that certain kind of blackjack game. Other casino games are promised certain payouts too. All are based on random number generators being actually random.

2. In the good old days, pre-Summer-2008, there was large pool of players in the MG casinos network-wide to keep players happy with their deposits and value they get for their play.

Ok, we know that some players have a knack of being consistent winners in online casino games. As long as they keep winning, they keep playing in the casinos. The general economy goes bad and starts to affect the online casinos. The players who generally lose money in the online casinos stop altogether or not play as often. The pool of players get smaller....BUT the winners stay on because they are still winning. This would affect the overall casino return percentages as the winning players start to become a bigger part of the winners:losers ratio in the player pool. In order to maintain the promised wager return percentages to the casinos, MG's software starts to override the random number generator for the various casino games in order to bring the overall wager return percentage back into "compliance". For example, larger bets in blackjack games start to lose more and weird blackjack hands are more frequent (like blackjack pushes and 5-, 6-card dealer 21s against your 20).

The slots payout percentage can stay the same as before but if MG is losing money in their overall wager return percentage, then it gets tighter until they get enough losing wagers to fulfill the percentage. But if them damn blackjack players keep winning.........

The above is only speculation but that is what I think is happening with MG casinos.

I was told they took the Progressives off for U.S. Players, but noticed the other day they were back again. I am almost afraid to play them for fear there is a change I don't know about - no one sent me an email saying they were no longer available - I had to ask on here, and no one sent me an email saying they were ok to play again.

I wish they would just be consistant
